Pressing xmrig support takes me here. Trying it out and I cant seem to get it working.. Do I need to add a port or something? I think I got it going now.. but im getting [2021-03-31 17:23:56.731] msr FAILED TO APPLY MSR MOD, HASHRATE WILL BE LOW .. Any way to fix this?

Right now i have 5 discs + a cache SSD. One of the 5 is a parity disc. I will be buying 3 more discs to fill my case soon. Thinking about using one of them for dual parity. I see many people with 8 or more discs running single so i thought i'd ask the forum's thoughts.. EDIT: None of this stuff is mission critical stuff (Media). Only about 5% (the more "important" stuff) of it is backed up. I don't really care if i lose it all.. but i don't really want to either lol

All of those movies are in the movies SD/HD/UHD folders. I would have to take them out.. Move them into the collection folders. Thanks for your help. I understand fully what you are saying. I dont think you understand what i want(ed) to do Cheers

I understand. Just dosnt seem worth it. I'd still have to mess around with almost 20 collection folders to do what i ultimately want to do.. Not worth the time. Plus i am seeding a few hundred files that i would have to find one by one, force recheck and .. meh .. lol

Makes sense. Thanks. However pulling the movies out and into the collection folders would still alter the order no? I think if i copy those.. Plex will just add a second file (And the number 2) to each of those movies. Then i can delete the original ones and the order should remain the same. Now i just need to decide if it's worth the trouble! lol. Purely cosmetic. I do like gaining the option to not include one of the collection folders (Like my Noir films) in the main library tho. EDIT: I'll just leave it. And possibly make a Movie Collections share EDIT: Leaving it the way it is. Made a Movies Misc share where i can put stuff i want in separate librarys. Put my Noir films and UFC folders (the only way i can get UFC events to scan is to add them as movies) in there and it works OK enough

EDIT: I got Krusader set up. When one moves a file from one share to another do the files actually get moved? Or do they stay where they are but show up in the new place instead (IF that makes any sense LOL)?

I am getting kinda sick of how my movies are stored and would like to move them into a new share. I would also like to keep the order they were added in Plex. Add the new (empty) folders to Plex librarys > Turn off Plex > Use MC to move files > Start Plex? or Add the new (empty) folders to Plex librarys > Turn off Plex > Use MC to copy files > Start Plex > Delete old files? Anyone done anything similar before? I have separate shares for SD, HD, UHD and Anime and find it annoying. I would like to consolidate it to one share with those folders in it + folders for collections.. Not sure its worth the effort lol example

Been using this for a while and curious. What happens when a file is renamed? Does it change the hash or make a new one? How does it know the difference between a file name change or say a text file edit and file corruption (since the hash would change if you edited a txt file)? Thanks :P

Hello, i built a unRAID server out of spare parts (and new drives) about 10 months ago(?). Been going great so far. M/B: MSI - CSM-H87M-G43 (MS-7823) CPU: Intel® Core™ i3-4170 CPU @ 3.70GHz Memory: 8 GB (max. installable capacity 32 GB) As of a month ago I have maxed out my SATA ports and would like to add a second parity disc and another data drive (I don't need to do this i just want to). https://i.imgur.com/MEn8ry7.png So, i "need" to get a good (non Syba) HBA or a board with at least two more SATA ports. However, what i really want/need is more cores and RAM. I recently got into VMs and my parents finally figured out how to use PLEX (lol). I would like to go with a (used?) Super Micro board, at least 4 true cores (Xeon?) with single core speed faster than my lil i3, and at least 16GB ECC. I don't do a ton of stuff on it so i don't need go crazy with it. https://i.imgur.com/F1afqp8.png (I don't really use Emby its just there as i was messing around with it) I am also not made of money (Far from it) so i am looking for the absolute best bang for my buck. Had some time to tinker and finally got a VM running on my server. CPU mining works lol. If i have time i will try a GPU tomorrow. But something tells me it's not gonna work with my i3. I'll be rolling in pennies in no time!

I only have 8GB but i don't run hardly anything on my box (sonarr/plex/nzbget/no VMs). If it is working it's been working fine hehe.

I never got around to trying this. Not even sure i can pass GPUs with an i3-4170. heh I ended up just building an 8 GPU rig that is sitting beside the unraid box. However, I would have no problem buying two more cards to fill the slots in my unraid box if it is possible. Has anyone else got it running?

I deleted my docker img, rebooted the server, made a new one, and re added all the containers. It seems to work.. for now.
