  1. You don't have to disable completely nor temporarily. Just disable ("whitelist") for specific websites permanently.
  2. The 1 you included is part of the device name. You need to specify the partition. What do you get from the command line with this? lsblk
  3. Put flash in PC, delete config/network.cfg so it will use default DHCP. I recommend leaving it as DHCP and reserve its IP in the router instead of assigning a static IP.
  4. Assuming you moved all the data off the emulated disk, the actual physical disk itself has not been changed since it was disabled, so no data has been moved from the physical disk. To rebuild a disk to itself (whether parity or data) Stop array Unassign disabled disk Start array with disabled disk unassigned Stop array Reassign disabled disk Start array to begin rebuild
  5. If you intend to keep the disk in the array, you have to rebuild to get it enabled again. If instead you intend to remove it from the array, then you will have to New Config without it and rebuild parity.
  6. Use the Previous Apps feature on the Apps page.
  7. Looks like you rebooted before getting those diagnostics, so can't see what caused the disk to be disabled. SMART attributes for the disk look OK. If it passes the extended SMART test, you can rebuild the disk to itself. Do you know how?
  8. You haven't specified the partition number, that is why the instructions say
  9. Have you rebooted since the activity you described? Best if you haven't, but in any case, get us the current diagnostics. Attach to your NEXT post in this thread.
  10. Why did you attach so many diagnostics, and why are they all dated a year or more ago?
  11. This thread you have replied to is more than 7 years old and for Unraid versions older than V6. It is generally not recommended to enable the built in FTP. You certainly shouldn't expose it to the internet
  12. Seems normal to me. If you want us to look closer Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.

  14. This is pretty much the function of cache. SSD as cache will give as much throughput as your NIC can support.
  15. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread,
  16. When a disk is spun down it doesn't report temperature so you get the asterisk. Normal behavior. On mobile now so can't look at Diagnostics yet.
  17. Rebuilding to a larger disk will always result in the same filesystem as the original since parity is at the bit level not the file level. To change filesystems you have to reformat, and so will have to copy the data somewhere else before reformatting a disk. Since you are going to larger disks you can just rebuild one disk, which results in a larger ReiserFS disk with all the same data but with a lot more free space, then copy or move the data from other disks to that free space. After emptying a disk, you can reformat it to XFS and then rebuild it to a larger disk, or rebuild it to a larger disk then reformat it to XFS. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.
  18. The default is btrfs raid1, whether 2 or more and regardless of whether they are the same size.
  19. The letter designation is not guaranteed to be the same after each reboot, and will often change when changing disks. A more useful descriptor is a few characters from the serial number that are different between disks. For many models, the last 4 characters is enough.
  20. That is basically just a repeat of your first post. So are you suggesting that ALL movies have their first part stored on cache ALL the time? If not ALL movies ALL the time, then what would be the criteria for deciding which movies, and how would you decide when they needed to be there?
  21. Main - Boot Device - Flash - Syslinux Configuration
  22. Don't see how this could work. At the very least it isn't well defined. Do you mean every video file you have should always have the beginning of the file on cache all the time? Or do you mean it should be read from wherever it is and stored on cache instead of actually starting to play (what would be the point of that)?
