I dont even know where to start. There are no errors, its just not possible to login. That it hammers others apps is known and also reported since months. I dont even know if that is the actual problem.

Such a shame. This docker becomes unresponsive every now and then. It seems to be because omby is hammering plex with more then 1 film a sec while it sync, so plex or omby, or both get unresponsive (who prog it that way, srsly?) In the time it syncs, which takes some time if you have big library, you cant login... no errors in log. Sorry, forget to report back. After i added only the directory which i need, everything works perfectly for months.

My location is perfect for hiding the rpi, i have multiple buildings, big garden, cat house... i could even put it underground, if wifi works. Manual moving everything and encryption is not really a thing i wanna do... i guess i wait until limetech implement it. or someone write a script for it... free space/hdds i have atleast.

I mean it this way. e.g. i bought one of the first intel nucs, they have incredible crap wifi. Thats why i asked about exp with it. I never had a pi (bc i never found a usefull scenario for it). I guess no one will ever come to the idea to search for the hidden key somewhere on my ground, power can be obtained. 100% secure and 100% automatic is not possible, i guess. But i think its a good idea: cheap, easy, and adds a whole new security layer on top. Only question left is, is it now possible to create encrypted array, without deleting everything?

Best is to just enable really the directory(s) which you want to browse via smb

Thanks. How good is the wifi? I mean, is it normal wifi, like, if i put my phone and test where wlan is working, will pi have the same results or is it worser? Has anyone exp with this small pis? For my case would the small one perfect, because i can hide it perfect somewhere, but i could ofc just get the "better" one

Cheap as possible, but wlan. Just needs to run a SMB service and SSH. Does the pi zero works for what i want to do? edit: doesnt seem to have wlan!? Do you still need to format all your data to enable encryption?

My biggest concern is would be if someone takes the server with them. So if i put a rasp pi somewhere in the network (via wlan) they have the hardware, but cant do anything with it. Can someone suggest a cheap pi with enclosure for dirty places?

I understaned it this way he used the 6 digits to protect his accounts? But ofc, more security is always good. To encrypt, do all data need to be deleted? I would really like to encrypt my whole unraid system and only be bootable with e.g. smartphone near, so if "someone" takes the server, it cant be accessed. Or maybe a rasperian pi somewhere in the wlan hidden somewhere. Sounds like a good plan.

My pihole even destroyed my google wifi (only WLAN). Because it blocked some random "cloud" dns name... making WLAN unuseable. Just because one DNS name was blocked...

Yeah. Dont need to use pi hole for unraid. To your clients you should give pi holes address as first dns server, and one always reachable dns server, like 1.1.1.1. So if you local server is not reachable, all devices still work. To the update problem, i cant say very much, never happend to me.. but you might want to check your piholes (and or) unraids logs.

Why u wanna try it via powershell instead of just changing it inside the network adapter? Edit: ah i got it wrong, you try to set that dns in your dns server. No idea about powershell, i use steamcache dns container + pi hole container.

What a great replacement for plex requests. One of the few dockers which nearly works 100%. It just seems like he doesnt understand which series i already have in plex. If i search for movies, he shows what i already have, if i search for series, he doesnt show that i already have some series. Known?

wohoooho. I wonder, i always had br0 without problems for days. I changed now to eth0 also, does work now again, also admin cp. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Why it says br0 when you need to have it eth0 anyway? Oo 1. Edit: only one super small "problem". I want to use 1.1.1.1 as my favorite DNS because its the fastest, so i entered 1.1.1.1 and as backup 8.8.4.4... but he always do it exact the other way around and use 8.8.4.4 first.. wtf? 2. i would like to enable "log rotation" and expose the pihole.log to /etc/pihole/pihole.log, i changed the config, but it doesnt write anything to it...?

Im nto sure how to use it. Just place it inside the userscripts plugin and run once a day? What you do? How does it delete logs? I added as daily, removed the outcommented lines and added logging

Why you think "low" peers would be a problem? As far as i know, the server contacts the nodes when he chooses to give them something to store, and then they need to react (responsetime and timeoutrate). I might be wrong tho. I never cared for peers. And just btw, its beta atm, no real users, so things will change, like how storj reputation works.
