  1. This is the 'fix' and most related issues seem to be linked/related to this. https://github.com/tidusjar/Ombi/issues/865 This simply links to the above ticket. https://github.com/tidusjar/Ombi/issues/1363 This simply links to the 865 ticket. You get the idea https://github.com/tidusjar/Ombi/issues/1365
  2. This would be a useful feature, i'd love to be able to give the wife a one-click button to boot up the other VM. I tried getting WOL to work using IOS/Android apps and used the LibvirtdWOL plugin but i've not been able to get this process working..
  3. Is the EPG downloaded from DVB and up to date? if so you must be getting something. Are you using the 4.2 release (linuxserver/tvheadend:release-4.2) I had issues with 4.3 myself but they were different to this.
  4. I run Blueiris in a VM... I used to run it with 2 cores and 4GB ram, this was with 4 cameras mixture of 720 and 1080. I also ran the same system taking in another 8 feeds remotely but these were only 5FPS/20KB/sec each with limited internet causing issues with that bandwidth! D2D recording. It now has 4 cores but still often reports high cpu usage 80-90%, although within windows reports it as around 40% less. This has not caused me any issues. I do write it to the array and initially dedicated a disk to it by not allowing other shares on it, now that disk is shared with other media. I guess my system isn't under enough load for this really to be an issue at the moment, but I'll be honest I hadn't really thought about it keeping that disk + parity spun up constantly or maybe I did and have forgotten! I might change things a little, but for the sake of saying it works... it works.
  5. Any ideas how to fix the following error or should I just switch to another UI? when accessing rutorrent I always get the following. I'm not using any of the VPN features. [13.09.2017 13:25:49] WebUI started. [13.09.2017 13:25:49] extratio: Plugin will not work. It requires plugin(s) throttle
  6. This is in line with what I've read on the Ombi Github pages etc. Until it no longer uses mono the issue will still be present. @captain134I can make this occur locally, just by clicking menus a little too quickly. FYI - Installing this on a windows VM worked perfectly with no crashes. Again suggesting it's the mono issue that's documented. @CHBMB I'm shocked you've not seen this, generally just accessing the UI and pressing through the menus quickly causes it to happen. I know it's crashed because the Orange bar does not make it all the way across the screen. Would be OK for the most part if it restarted itself but it sits crashed until the docker is restarted. It doesn't appear the issue is Docker related. I don't really expect a fix for this until an updated Ombi version is available. Mapping /mnt/user/appdata/ombi IP address set on br0.40 DNS applied via --dns=
  7. I'll remove it and reinstall it. Then report back. Below was on the current install. I just started the docker again, the login page loaded and when I pressed submit on login with my username nothing happened. 8. Are people using this without it crashing and hanging until the container is restarted? I only tested this docker for a couple of days but must of had around 20 crashes in that time. Finally installed it within a windows VM and has not crashed once. When I started reading the Ombi pages it seemed to be a common issue on linux.
  9. Thanks, I was guessing as much but wanted to be told. I've had a bunch of Seagate disks from what must be 5-7 years ago, including the external's known for Click of death. They lasted longer than expected, even the clicking drives can still be read just happen to cause the whole system to hang if it starts clicking.

    BTRFS

I'd say this is more of a BTRFS issue than Unraid based on things such as the table on https://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Status Synology are hoping for the best?
  11. Old harddrive that has served me quite well, was looking for a temp solution to add more storage to my array but not sure I should trust this disk. 12. Based on what I've been reading the NPT with KVM issue is years old rather than months old. Also based on what I've been reading this is limited to KVM, the performance loss is not seen on Xen. I'm still hoping it will be fixed due to sheer fact that AMD has done a good job with these CPU's and people want to use them. My system is in my sig, the main use case I had was Plex, Unifi, a Windows VM for Blueiris (no passthrough) and ability to run a few more linux vm's to test certain work related use cases out. For that Ryzen has been great. No real complaints. As for GPU passthrough, yes it's a bit of a pain but it has to be stated the issue is most often seen during gaming, in fact, I don't notice it doing general day to day things on the desktop. Yes on WOW it has a performance impact, causes stalls every so often. For awhile you think its playing perfect and then everything freezes. Overwatch, with cpu pinning to the last 4+4 cores and limiting unraid to the first 4+4 cores only. I'm getting 60+ FPS most of the time on an old 670 and the game is almost perfect. A few stalls and slowdowns but nothing compared to WOW Quake Champions, Similar to overwatch it feels almost perfect and then something happens to remind you its not. But again not very often and I've seen been able to play but its not bare metal. I also have a second GPU passed through to another WindowsVM (named GPU2!) that is sharing cores with Unraid and my other half plays Red Alert 3 on it and that has shown no issues at all. In your initial post you already stated gaming was not a goal, for that use case GPU pass through does work OK. It really depends on what your expectations are. So with all the issue still present, I am run TVHeadend, TVHProxy, Plex DVR, Plex Live, PlexRequests with automated downloads etc etc, a windows VM without GPU and still run two windows VM's with GPU's. I'm starting to ask a little too much of it and I can tell you that in its current state transcoding HEVC in plex is a bit too much to ask. I may build a bare metal gaming rig or I'm also looking some HP workstations on ebay, as I see some with high core counts and reasonable price(TBC).
  13. Has anyone been able to use this docker without issue? I've seen a good few posts reading back through this thread, slowness, segfault and headphones restarting. Seeing all three of these issues myself..
  14. If you set a valid username and password for these shares I expect you can map the shares directly while supplying the username and password. Try My Computer > Map Network Drive. \\tower\media And supply a username and password.
  15. When you lose a docker from the dashboard, It's still listed as a template under the docker menu. You can go to the docker menu and select it from your known templates, simply deploying the docker again.
  16. I can only use this docker in Bridge mode, I was trying to set it up within a vlan with my other dockers such as Sonarr. The following error was displayed 08006 DBI connect('dbname=musicbrainz_db','abc',...) failed: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"? The UI was almost instantly accessible and error sat there at the top. I updated the config file with the IP address. I finally thought to try bridge mode and can see it downloading the database progress is now shown in the log files which looks much better than before. The UI isn't loading yet which is an improvement in itself. Is it intended to support other networking modes than bridge?

    Wifi question

If you wanted to use a username and password, you would create a useraccount on Unraid using the Users menu and then edit the shares on the Shares menu to allow that user access to them. If your only problem was that Unraid does not appear in Windows Explorer as an option to click it then you workaround this you've now tested and your issue could be something as simple as network discovery been disabled on the computer in question. Gridrunner did ask some useful questions that it would be helpful if you answered and it's still not clear how your systems are connected. On a computer on each router, what are your IP addresses? Are they all in the 192.168.1.x range? When you access plex is it via the webpage? Can you access the Unraid webpage? in each location?
  18. It would be 48x8 but thinking about it, they should appear as different servers. It's up to the main application to be aware of the additional chips to use them in as it wishes. Often in transcoding use cases.
  19. I wonder if I could get Unraid to install on a moonshot platform, that should offer more than little more cores than these screenshots. Getting away with testing that in the lab is another matter though. I'd love to see this on a moonshot platform, but I think they would show up as different servers so it wouldn't work out how I'd like. EDIT - Returned the post closer to the original!
  20. Let me know if you make any progress on this. I'd need to check but I think I get the same sensors as you. 1 Fan and 2 or 3 Temps. I've worked out one of the temps is the external temp sensor, I got a little cable in my motherboard box and when connected I can make the values go up by holding on to it. I may of done that with a second temp value as well (I have two external temp things) but i'm not sure now. either way the values I get today are not very useful.
  21. You can turn it off yourself if needed It's listed in this file as pcie_ace_override=downstream root@Tower:/boot/syslinux# pwd /boot/syslinux root@Tower:/boot/syslinux# cat syslinux.cfg default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology, Inc. prompt 0 timeout 50 label unRAID OS (With ACS) menu default kernel /bzimage append pcie_acs_override=downstream isolcpus=8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 initrd=/bzroot label unRAID OS (without ACS) menu default kernel /bzimage append isolcpus=8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 initrd=/bzroot
  22. The issue you likely had prior to RC7a was with C-State in the bios, it causes the system to crash when idle. Disabling it fixed the issue but since RC7a this isthe ssue no long occurs. Regarding sensors, some people have been able to force the detection but for myself I still don't see temps within unraid.
  23. On the unraid system, can you bring up terminal and try ping 10.0.0.1 >-- If this does not work then you won't be able to access the internet. ping 8.8.8.8 >-- If this works then you have internet access. ping google.com >-- If this does NOT work but ping 8.8.8.8 does work, then you have a problem with DNS. "Under Main tab, I cannot start the array..." Cannot contact key-server"." This would imply that test 2 and 3 will fail as the error messaging is stating it cannot reach out to Lime Tech to validate your trial. You could try connecting your mac directly to the Unraid server and manually set an IP of 10.0.0.50 for example and then try accessing 10.0.0.131. FYI (ping google.com or ping 10.0.0.1) will not work when your cable is directly attached. Does your router give out IP's using DHCP? What happens if you tell Unraid to automatically get an IP address?
  24. I've not used this docker.. BUT... 1. There will be a docker support thread, you can find the link to it from the docker or from the CA apps where you installed the docker. Or check out the docker section on the forum and you should find the threard. 2. Did you put the Username and Password into the docker config? I thought for PIA and these dockers you place the username/password within the docker template prior to clicking start.
