  1. So I have noticed that any commands I give to dockers are VERY slow to respond. stopping, starting, or restarting docker containers timeout on the GUI but they do work. checking the log I see a few errors that seem new to me. If anyone knows what these mean and if they are related to me described issue, please let me know your thoughts. log errors below- Feb 7 00:22:52 AeroServer3 nginx: 2021/02/07 00:22:52 [error] 14970#14970: *1269127 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 192.168.86.42, server: , request: "POST
  2. So i have hit a new roadblock. I have the radarr side working but the sonarr seem to have the following error. Traceback (most recent call last):  File "/app/bazarr/bazarr/get_episodes.py", line 40, in sync_episodes   r.raise_for_status()  File "/app/bazarr/bazarr/../libs/requests/models.py", line 940, in raise_for_status   raise HTTPError(http_error_msg, response=self) requests.exceptions.HTTPError: 500 Server Error: Internal Server Error for url: http://192.168.86.49:8989/api/episode?seriesId=173&apikey=(correct sonarr API key here) I see the sonnar connection do
  3. I am having this same issue. I have looked at 3 different install guides and they all take the same steps to set this up. Yet I have the issue with not getting a handshake. It seems a few people are having this issue. not sure why there isn't a clear fix for such a common issue. For me I'm testing on windows 10 and android. Client log just keeps sending handshake and unraid never shows handshake arriving.
  4. running Tree? is that a plugin of sorts?
  5. I have always been a fan of the rule of three copies (local, off-site, off-line) but with the volume of data I never found a trustworthy method that didn't cost a TON. I mean for a while there was that Cayman islands cloud storage thing... that died quickly. for now the best option I see is a mirrored server offsite. but replicating that amount of data across the internet... not fun even if I invested in WAN-X.
  6. My wording may be a bit confusing. The motherboard and GPU cables didn't fit, so I only replaced those. The HDD cables were reused. Which cause the whole issue.
  7. The truth is, well let's just say most of my data can be downloaded. The only backups I have were of the nextcloud files from August 2020 and what was synced locally to my laptop. So the most valuable lost data was my wife's nextcloud data (so for her she lost everything after August 2020). And determining the value would be maybe 150 bucks to her. Seeing as that is a stupidly small budget and she doesn't care much, I could say that they would be worth more to me as new array drives, but not the data per se. So maybe that's worth digging into more. No idea what companies do that,
  8. So, I'm having some issues with a docker... those issues aside, I'm looking for a script to schedule a docker reboot regularly, such as every 2 hours or so. I have been working to resolve the core issue but thus far, the only resolution I have found is to restart the problem docker. anyone have a script that can accomplish this?
  9. This is the story of how I managed to fry all 12 of my HDDs in moment of stupidity. (5 min read) To start, we should talk about my setup. To simplify, I'll post my old signature to cut to the chase. But in short, it was built up over time. Slowly adding drives as needed to satiate my data hording. Much of it was Plex media but I had setup things like a Pi-Hole, Nextcloud, personal VPN (for when I wanted to use public Wi-Fi on my phone in a safer manner). Much of this I think is pretty common in our community so my server wasn't really that out-of-the-ordinary. Config -
  10. Yes I figured it out. I had to remove the recently added scripts and re add them. That fixed it right up.
  11. OK, I have been reading posts for 2 hours now and dont see where or what i messed up. I have DDNS setup with a new url just for wireguard. i use pihole and did input my pihole LAN IP in the config. I have tested on my phone(cell network) and my laptop(on cell hotspot-cell network) both seem to connect fine, but nothing loads (public sites nor LAN sites). I notice in the client log(both on windows/laptop and android app) that its sending the handshake attempt multiple times. i see on the unraid dashbaord that there is no handshake. I can post screen shots as needed and
  12. was this helpful at all? im not sure what im looking at with these logs/diagnostics. fresh copy attached. aeroserver2-diagnostics-20200712-1007.zip
  13. Thank you for this info and your blog post. It helped explain a lot of what i think i need to do to grow beyond my CoreX9 Case (disk space) and current mobo (lack of SATA ports). With the new info, I have three questions I was hopping you could elaborate on... 1- With the SAS/HBA cards (not sure of the difference on these). If the card sits in an PCIx16 slot, how does the SAS card handle power to the diskshelf? it seems like it would only handle the data... Disks->SAS card in disk shelf->SAS cable->SAS card in host computer->host mobo. 2- With the SAS card no
