So I have new hardware that I wanted to test and switch over to. Only thing installed since initial boot is community apps. Nothing else has changed. Wake up today and log files are full. Looking at the log they are full of "Tower kernel: {2}[Hardware Error]" I have posted my diagnostic if someone can look at it and let me know what is up. tower-diagnostics-20230824-0914.zip

So this has bugged me for some time and keep forgeting to request it. When we use SMTP to send messages and we receive them. I don't want the email to show my email address as the name (minus the @gmail) Example: If I use my email address to send myself an email from unraid notifications, my email shows "Me" as the sender which does not help me quickly identify the emails. If I use a different sending email address such as [email protected] the the email come through it shows sender as abc123 Now in other grograms there is another field that is populated "Sender Name" and if that is populated it make it so what ever the sender name is that is what appears in the email as the sender. Example if i use my email address to send but put the sender name as "Unraid Server" then that is what appears as the Sender name in Gmail. Same if I use a different email and make the sender name "Unraid Server" that is what appears in the email as the sender name. Tautulli supports this and love it So I am able to do this.

Just did a manual backup and all seem to go good, except it did not exclude the folders I specified. Example: (All on one line separated by a comma with no space) /mnt/user/appdata/Music-Lidarr/MediaCover/Albums/, /mnt/user/appdata/Movies-Radarr/MediaCover/, /mnt/user/appdata/TV-Sonarr/MediaCover/, /mnt/user/appdata/Movies_4K-Radarr/MediaCover/, /mnt/user/appdata/Standup-Radarr/MediaCover/

Where / How do you edit the excludes, I have been running a script for plex for about a year now so it would not grab all the metadata and such and would love to go back to using this and also being able to exclude it for the arr's as its a lot of space.

Also as Hawkins is doing, is there an easy way to exclude subfolders from the interface? This would be a nice touch, maybe something along the lines of an edit button where it shows the full list of what is going to be excluded and can be edited right there in the interface? (Also all these improvement asked for and done so far, I wanted years ago, and recommended several times, so glad someone was able to have the time and update and continue this project. Also one more suggestion for backing up, would be nice if there was a way to say backup these folders daily, backup these folders weekly, and these backup monthly, and then keep x copies of each backup by frequency, with more options. So I have apps I would like a daily backup, but also want a few weekly and monthly, Example: Daily Backups keep for 7 day (One rolling week worth), Weekly 4 rolling weeks worth backups , and monthly 3 months, so I would have apps listed in all 3 backup types, this way I would have a nice history of backups should they ever be needed. (AKA 3 different tabs maybe for backups with each getting a subfolder in the destination folder: /$destination_folder/Daily/ /$destination_folder/Weekly/ /$destination_folder/Monthly/ Also I have 2 different appdata drives, but I can only select one in Source, would be great if we could select multiple ones and the restore process would remember where each backup came from, or allow us to restore to any of the appdata locations should it be needed, Select the restore location upon restoring. So sorry, I just see your post. Whenever I check my logs the background is black with white text. Mind showing me where your having the issue, and what theme do you have set in Settings/Display Settings/Dynamix color theme Should be set to black

I changed the cron back to 0 0/6 * * * Last night, and it never ran, I have to run it manually. Are cron's custom schedule working for anyone else. regardless of things I try they never run on a custom cron.

when will the first run happen? as I expected it to at noon today, and nothing happened. (Current Unraid Server Time 12:43pm) I have changed the cron to be "0 13/6 * * *" witch means it should do the run starting at 1pm (17 mins, so I guess I will see if it runs) update: it did not run at 1pm. what am I doing wrong?

So I have been trying to set a Custom schedule for a script to run, but It never runs, I have used online Cron generators, (Several of them) and the schedule never seems to kick in. I am looking to have the script run every 6 hours every day starting at midnight. This is what I have tried: 0 0 0/6 ? * * * 0 0 0/6 * * * * * * 0/6 * * ? * * * 0/6 * * * * What is the correct way? Note: Script runs correctly if set to schedule or ran manually

Odd it shows as a USB, yet I have no USB monitor, (only DHMI) an only 2 usb devices plugged in (well a 3rd passed through to VM) Guess I will dig deeper

6.9.2 I have a device called lcd_platform that is showing up in my unassigned drives, (No clue what it is) and the disk log shows "sd 3:0:0:0: [sdd] Attached SCSI removable disk" Is there a way to force remove this so it stops sowing up in my system. Since my last update to the plugin (Not sure what I was on before, i have a unassigned device show up called: LCD_PLATFORM_0000000000001 Not sure where it came from or what it is. Can you make a way to hide unassigned drives so they no longer show in the list. Wish we had someone that would be willing to rewrite this code so that we could use a hierarchy for prerolls Default, Monthly, Weekly, Daily, Holidays (Each with customs we can add) Default would be used, but Monthly would override it if the month was not empty, Monthly would be used, but weekly would override it if the weekly was not empty, Weekly would be used, but daily would override it if the daily was not empty, Daily would be used, but Holidays would override it if the Holiday was not empty. But the Holidays I would like to have option for how many days before and how many days after I currently have mine setup so that I have defaults, then if a month has files it uses the month, else default. I then have holidays and Birthdays, ext.. added and if any of them have files, it overrides the month or default for set time frame of days before and after. I am doing this via another docker but I have to manually enter in all the info in a config file, would be nice to have a GUI like this one. (Wish I had the skills to create stuff)

FYI you can have multiple prerolls run. but not 2 random ones, and not one always and then one random. (You can have as many prerolls run just not random) It can only be 2 prerolls every time. If multiple paths separated by commas are entered, videos will be played sequentially. If multiple paths separated by semi-colons are used, a single pre-roll video will be chosen randomly from the list. example: /Prerolls/preroll1.mkv,/Prerolls/preroll2.mkv (Will play preroll1 and then preroll2) /Prerolls/preroll1.mkv;/Prerolls/preroll2.mkv (Will randomly select preroll1 or preroll2 and play just one of them)

So I have installed this and seems to work, Kinda. So for the schedule it seems like it only allows you to use the currently selected schedule? I put in weekly and monthly and depending on what Schedule is selected when i press submit is what appears in plex. Can we not use all? Default for months where there is nothing, monthly. Weekly to override monthly, daily to override weekly ect... What am I missing?

So got this installed and running, but 0 change to my ram, ram amount never increased which seams odd, and it was not grabbing recent videos, they seem to be very old videos loaded over a year ago. Have 256GB ram and only 12% being used and after 20mins of the script running still shows 12% How can I fix this?

So I am hoping someone here is a pro with the NetApp DS2246 or the DS4246 disk shelfs. I have both a DS2246 and DS4246, both of them from day has this issue. Turning the unit on and connecting to unraid and populating with drives, the amber and green light for the case and populated drives amber and green light all come one. Amber is suppose to signal an error, but everything seems to function correctly for both my cases and 2.5 or 3.5 drives. is that normal or is there something that can be done so the amber light goes away and only come on when there is an error/issue? the DS2246 has both IMO6 modules plugged in and both PSU installed, the DS4246 has both IMO6 modules plugged in and all 4 PSU installed. Each shelf has a different ID (DS2246 #1, DS4246 #2) and they are both using the first IMO6 connecting directly to my LSI controller (8e so each disk shelf are plugged into the LSI controller via a SFF-8436 to SFF-8088 cable I have a spare DS4246 also with both IMO6 modules and 4 PSU and a spare cable, swapped it out with the other unit and same issue still with the amber lights. hoping for good news.

I have USB drives that are not appearing. They are not deleted (I checked that first), I have a few NVME drives connected via USB3.2 as they are faster than my SSD's and no room for internal. Can you make it so USB's appear in list please.
