Feature Request: @Squid Now that we have multi Cache Pools, I have some Dockers App Data stored on other Cache Drives, I have 3 in total now. Can we get support for Multi Cache Pools where Docker App Data is stored on other Cache Drives. Example: I have all my normal AppData stored on my Cache Drive, But then I also have a Plex_AppData stored on a seperate cache drive, and then Nextcloud stored on another seperate Cache Drive as NextCloud_AppData. Then is there a way that when backing up dockers AppData, that only that docker (Or linked dockers, Example we link Nextcould to the database docker) are stopped and then started backup once they are backed up and then start the next docker, so only the docker that is currently being backed up is being stopped, others continue to run until its there time for backing up. Then also make it so we can restore one docker(linked dockers), instead of all or nothing. And if were stopping and starting dockers like I mentioned, then the individual or if linked together are backed into individual backups. by name_date_time. Since some of use have so many dockers that one backup could be close to 1TB and if we need only one app restored it takes forever, and appdata is only growing. This would allow our dockers to only be down for a short time, just enought for it to be back up and running, and then restore individual backups. Also I would like the ability to back up sets of dockers in schedules, Example: Daily Backups Mark dockers for daily backups. Weekly Backups Mark dockers for weekly backups. Monthly Backups Mark dockers for weekly backups. and an option for backup up marked now! As I don't need all my dockers to backup on the same schedule. A few I need backed up on a daily basis, then most others done weekly, and a few only monthly. My backups can take anywhere from 2-3 hours at times to back up and thats a long time for them all to be down. I know its asking a lot but I feel it would be a huge benefit to the community.

love the UPS option, but is there a way to have it monitor more than one? I have several that I would like it to monitor via SNMP and USB. Would like the ability to select witch one(s) unraid would look at for the shutdown feature, say I have 5 units, but 3 are for unraid (1 for the server and 1 for each of the 2 disk shelfs I have) I would like to be able to view all 5 units, but say these 3 I want unraid to use for the shutdown, that if any of the 3 drop to only x mins left on battery then shutdown.. Also would be great if we could put in info like device name, battery model, how many, and date batteries installed, and replace every x years. This way when x date comes around we get a critical alert that its time to replace the batteries. (Email would be even better) and include device name, battery model, how many needed. then once replaced we update the battery install date. Would be great if we could even put in UPS devices that were not connected via usb or snmp so that we could keep record of the desk ups's and battery install dates and such. This would help a ton in managing our battery backups.

I can click them into the foreground yes, but only one at a time, not next to each other, and its not just that, there are times I need to move a screen so I can see the path and such, it would be so much easier to be able to move them. What was the reason for making them not movable?

krusader - unable to move windows around, other krusader version I can. anyway to make your version so I can move screens around As when I have several movies going i like to have them next to each other so I can see them, but yours they just get put on top of each others and unable to move the box around scree. and just did a fresh install (Nuking the appdata) and still unable to move them.

So I just got my ds2246 in today and got a chance to do some testing, From unraid LSI Controller to my DS4246 (Square port, top card) to my DS2246 (Round Port Left side) they connect and work great However as you suggested having them each go separately to the Controller rather and daisy chained, I did see a performance increases (DS4246 with 8+ TB Mechanical Drives) (DS2246 with 500GB+ SSDs) When many drives on DS4246 were accessed along with DS2246 being accessed, there was a drop in speed on both types of drives, When separated (Not daisy chained) there was a 10%-15% increase in speed. but normal loads I do it made almost 0 difference. But i have the cables so they stay separate until I get another DS4246, then the two of them will be daisy chained while the DS2246 will stay separate so I keep the speeds of the SSDs. So I have my unraid server with a gamming vm setup, but now due to where me moved vs server location its not working out with hdmi/usb cables(to long of a run). I am looking at getting a new motherboard, the gigabyte TRX40 DESIGNARE It comes with GC-TITAN RIDGE (Thunderbolt 3) and have heard with that I can easily go 100 feet? and on the other end get a dock for connecting the different peripherals and monitors. This is new to me and wonder if you can clarify and suggest a Dock to use. I am passing through a RTX 2070 (Dual monitor setup). And also wonder is there an impact performance if I connect it to a gen 4 x8 slot, as the x16 slot I want to use for the included AORUS Gen4 AIC Adaptor for the additional 4 nvme drives. Also for the use of plex and transcoding and unraid GUI i have an gtx1050ti installed, would there be an impact on transcoding or gui if I adapted it to use a 1x slot? (Again its a gen 4 1x) ans I need 5 PCI cads So currently I have: GTX 1050ti - x16 slot LSI SAS9207-8e - x8 slot RTX 2070 - x16 slot What I want to use is my current cards and both the new ones I get with the new motherboard, but the card require particular x lanes. LSI Controller requires x8 (Correct?) So I am thinking about getting another one, but all the cable guides show using 2 controller cards and 2 stacks and cabling them all together a special way., I am assuming for redundancy. I only have one controller, with 2 ports on the controller. This is how I would set it up? first port on Controller to first diskshelf in first IOM in the Square input, Then from first diskshelf it first IOM in the Round input to the second diskshelf into the first IOM in the square imput and thats it? or do I also take take second port on controller to fist diskshelf in second IOM in square imput, Then from first diskshelf it second IOM in the Round input to the second diskshelf into the second IOM in the square imput

Bios is up to date, and pcie link speeds are set to Slot 1 - x16 Slot 2 - x8 Slot 3 - x16 Slot 4 - x8 GTX1050ti = slot 1 SLI card = slot 2 RTX2080 = slot 3 but they still show downgraded, and from others that I have seen run this also show downgraded for stuff. Thoughts?

So I have discovered "lspci -vv" today and notice that I have a few things that show they are downgraded. Is this normal? If not any idea how to fix it, as I have a few devices that are like this, but all others are fine. seems a few of you are handy with creating css, are any of you handy at creating a GUI like this theme plugin? I would love to convert my script to css / a GUI plugin as many don't know how to use user scripts, and I don't have time to learn how to make a GUI / plugin. And this theme plugin does not seem to be developed anymore. And mine it more a find replace code in files and more basic theming than this. It would be nice if someone could takeover this project and combine it with what I have done for a more full featured experience. link to what I did:

So I went through and setup "My Servers". but unable to access it via My Servers. Unraid: 6.9.1 And Yes I have done the: I can access my server via my public_IP:my_port 254.548.14.74:1234 = remote access to my server works, but unraid.net says "Access unavailable" (Not not my real ip, Made it up for security reasons) What am I missing?

So I was on 6.9 beta 35 with the Plugin and all worked fine, booted to GUI locally on the server without issue, while still being used in plex and tidarr. Now I updated to 6.9.0 Stable and upon reboot it went into the GUI as expected, then I re installed the plugin, rebooted and I get the normal output for loading unraid but when it comes time to show the GUI i get a blank screen with a blinking cursor in the upper left corner, but everything else works, its just no local GUI. I get GUI from my web browser, plex transcodes as before, tidarr encodes as before, VM pass though still works as expected. Everything works as before just the Local GUI no longer shows. I boot to Legacy mode, have 2 card installed, PCI slot 1 is the card used for Unraid/Plex/Tidarr. PCI slot 4 is passed through to my gamming vm.

Just updated from 6.9.0 - Beta35 (everything worked). So I updated to 6.9.0 and it booted correctly. Just needed to update the Nvidia driver, so I updated it and had to reboot. All went well except that not unraid on the server itself will not display the GUI, I just get a flashing cursor. I can access the GUI from another pc as usual, but I can no longer get the GUI on the server to display. It worked fine on 6.9.0 Beta35 using this plugin. but with the update seems something broke. not sure what. Thoughts?

Just curious, where is it you find out what css was needed to make this work. I am trying to do other things in unraid and would love to learn. Also is there a way to add local picture files? I see yours all link to hosted files. I would like to be able to host my own locally from a share if possible.

Im still confused by him. He does not want to update to 8.6.3 from 8.6.2 due to personal reasons. Yet he keeps saying the only thing it fixed was a venerability. So I guess that he needs this venerability? Maybe he found a way to hack unraid on the lower builds and now pissed because if he upgrades he would have to pay. There is defiantly something fishy going on. Maybe if he would just tell us the personal reasons we might be able to help him. INstead he keep complaining that they are improving unraid and making it easier. He could even reach out to the community to see if anyone else is on 8.6.2 with unraid installed and see if they will send him the files. But then again if he needs updated drivers one day he is out of luck unless he upgrades unraid to an newer build with the newer kernel's that the drivers would need. He claims he uses it for home movies and pictures, why does he even need the nvidia support then? I think he is doing some illegal stuff and it only works on the lower unraid version due to the vulnerabilities that have since been patched. This reminds me of the people who started to complain about windows and the new way licensing is done, because its harder to hack and make it activated. We just need to start ignoring him. this thread is not for this. let him start his own thread and complain over there and see if anyone else cares.

@ich777 don't let DemonWarrior get under your skin. Some people just don't understand the difference between community apps and software companies. Its like getting mad at a software developer for not making it backwards compatible with windows XP. Tones of people still use it and refuse to upgrade to a newer windows version. This is not a developers issue, it theirs for not wanting to upgrade. I am sure you would rewrite the script if you were getting paid to do so. But why waste your time when you do it for free and only a small handful of people might need it. I see he keeps referring to personal reasons, wonder what they are. Seems kind of fishy.
