  1. I noticed this alert yesterday and have been searching for next steps but all the threads I've read are regarding a disk that has failed. In my case it looks like the disk is spun up and working, SMART test are ok. Aside from power cycling the box I haven't performed any type of remediation. I've attached logs but I don't see anything problematic there. What should my next steps be? ts200v-diagnostics-20231102-1106.zip
  2. When I paste the URL for the Folder Icon for ex: https://github.com/ground7/unraid-animated-svgs/blob/master/Always Animate/nzb.svg The folder icon does not change, just stays a question mark.
  3. @Mainfrezzer Just wanted to say thanks, I am back up and running. Though none of my Dockers will start, data integrity is good. I'll look into the "server error" when starting the dockers.
  4. On this page (changing the flash device) it says that if I don't remember the exact assignment of each disk and that if I didn't to stop and post here. Welp, at the most inopportune time I experienced a drive failure. My bad I should have made a backup, well, actually I DID make a backup but it is stored on the array. But yeah, should have moved it offline earlier. I have unraid ready on a new flash drive but I wanted to take a breath and understand if I should expect to be able to restore the (100tb) main and cache arrays. Is there a guide that can step me through it? edit: I'm following this guide for now: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/changing-the-flash-device/#what-to-do-if-you-have-no-backup-and-do-not-know-your-disk-assignments Thanks so much for any guidance.
  5. Just chiming in to say same issues here!
  6. 😡 Upon running the command my Unraid server immediately crashed. Even IPMI needed a reset. Triggered a parity check (54 TB). Thanks alot. ts200v-diagnostics-20210913-1547.zip
  7. Any chance to update bashtop to bpytop as per: https://github.com/aristocratos/bpytop
  8. Hi there, I'm seeing the following error when attempting to create any Windows VM. In case it's important I am in the middle of a parity rebuild due to a disk failure. Think it could be that? Maybe it hasn't rebuilt those files yet?
  9. And I appreciate it. Also going to post in the Discord if that's alright with you.
  10. It's not downloading at all for me. Traceroute to digitalocean is fine. What's up?
  11. It's not downloading at all for me. Something up with the CDN?
  12. Thank you, that makes a lot of sense. I changed Unraid to point to 8.8.8.8 for DNS reso, thus no longer have a need for it to try and talk to the pihole container for DNS. Thanks again!
  13. Could you please explain why it's not a good idea?
  14. I need to run Pihole in a docker container. Since dockers with a dedicated IP can't talk to the host and vice versa, my Unraid box cannot get DNS resolution. How to resolve?
  15. Currently running a plex server on Windows 2016, using Drivepool to manage storage. I want to migrate existing data to UnRaid. I think the workflow looks like this. Could you take a look and advise? I now have various spinning disks for data and an SSD for OS. Install new SSD (I don't want to overwrite existing in case I need to rollback) Boot from flash drive Unraid and install Unraid to SSD Boot from SSD Unraid Create image of existing Windows disk Create VM in Unraid and restore windows image Boot VM Install new 10tb spinning disk and add to Unraid pool Transfer data from first 3TB disk. Once complete add 3TB to unraid pool. rinse and repeat. Is that right? Some other questions: Can I add drives to the array without having to rebuild or lose data? Can I add parity anytime or does that have to happen at the beginning? In Unraid do all drives need to be the same size like hardware RAID? Any Windows driver issues I need to be aware of with the UnRaid environment? In steps 4 & 5 can I do this from within UnRaid - if not what's the recommended methodology to copy the Windows install to a new SSD once UnRAID is installed?
