BigIron
I am getting the following error on boot: mv: cannot stat '/usr/local/bin/mover': No such file or directory I had to reboot after my cache drive filled up and the mover didn't work. They initial error was so bad, I had to reinstall all my dockers. I was having issues with delugevpn and had to reboot. Now I can't boot my server. Any help is greatly appreciated. Solution JorgeB Posted June 19, 2023 Solution Share Posted June 19, 2023 Do you have the mover tuning plugin installed? If yes uninstall it and retry. Quote Link to comment
BigIron
That worked. Thank you JorgeB. For noobs like me, shut down the server, and delete the plugin from the flash drive on another PC. Boot server. My startup froze for a long time on starting Samba, but it finally started normally. I tried uninstalling the plugin from terminal in safe mode, but I couldn't get it to work. 1 Quote Link to comment
valiente
I also had the problem, I just waited, and the server eventually booted up. Once up, I then removed the plugin... Quote Link to comment
brentdog
I see this error on boot as well but it does not stop or slow down the boot process for me. Just annoying. Why is the solution to remove the mover tuning plugin? I'm using that plugin so I really do not want to remove it. Is that plugin deprecated? I cannot find any documentation that its deprecated. Squid
The original version is deprecated. The fork is deprecated, and a new replacement is available within Apps. Quote Link to comment
hugenbdd
The location moved on a recent release. A new install will create a softlink. But I need to add a check to add a softlink every time mover runs. As I believe it will be lost on reboot. 1 Quote Link to comment
Green Dragon
I have the latest version of CA Mover Tuning installed (2023.08.22) and still I see this error on boot. No other problems, just an entry on the boot screen. Must I simply remove and reinstall to remove the error? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Kaldek
Was this plugin never updated? Is it now an orphaned plugin? Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Have you made sure that you have the latest version available via the Apps tab? I know at one point it was forked so you may have an older version than the currently maintained one. Quote Link to comment
Nirin
Did anyone ever find the solution to this? I have the same issue, on the latest mover tuner plugin (correct version, in fact the only version on CA). Quote Link to comment
ezek1el3000
Unfortuntly no. I still get the error. Server boots up fine and only hangs for a couple of seconds on this error. Latest CA Version 2023.12.19 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You should report that in the existing plugin support thread. Quote Link to comment
