June 7, 201214 yr It is most likely because of the issue i mentioned back on page 2. a library, glibc, is being installed and should not be. This was a case of changing too many things at once. This was a problem with the simpleFeatures stats collector. Removed it from cron and all is well

But I think I've gotten around that. I noticed a post from Prostuff1 indicating that the reason that the plugin causes segfaults is that it installs an unnecessary or bad version of a package during install. I have updated the plugin I modified (it now doesn't include this package). It seems to work fine on my install, and doesn't appear to segfault/make segfault entries in the logs. It also appears to behave properly when trying to bring your array offline, which is a big plus. June 27, 201214 yr Transmission 2.52 Plugin: http://unraid-sureguy.googlecode.com/files/transmission-2.52p-i486-1_W-W.plg Many thanks to piotrasd for pointing out that there was a new version, and subsequently fixing it, and prostuff1 for pointing out the issue with the version he was offering. I've updated the plugin to use the new version, and placed the updated txz in the same place that the plugin is available (googlecode) as that is likely a more accessible location. I've rebooted my unRAID box, and the plugin seems to work, I downloaded ubuntu with it, with no problems.
July 1, 201214 yr It might be me who is missing something, but I get the 403 error when connecting to tower:9091... I can't seem to find the settings.json file anywhere? Changed the data dir to /mnt/disk1/.apps/transmission (Since I only have 1 data disk atm) but that folder is empty. find / -name settings.json returns nothing...
July 1, 201214 yr Oddly enough; same problem here. No transmission install directory. I have it set to /mnt/cache/plugins. Setting the install to the root of the cache; as in /mnt/cache/transmission is fine. Kryspy

Just remove it from /boot/config/plugins (both plg and the directory in there) and then remove the DataDir ?
July 2, 201214 yr My settings.json file is in my data directory: /mnt/cache/.apps/transmission I think you may have to set the data directory to a permanent location via the plugin, then start transmission (which will create the file) then stop transmission to modify the settings.json file.
July 4, 201214 yr Got the newest 2.52 plugin working just fine on unRAID 5.0-RC5. The only issue I have is that it does not seem to like working with the Transmission Remote GUI... worked fine on older packages. Watch directories are working as well.
July 25, 201213 yr Please can the log be separated from the the common /var/log/syslog (plus handled with the cron rotation)? It makes the latter unreadable.
