Would you please post your firmware version? In case you are getting *perfect* smooth visual and droped out audio, you definitely don't have network issues as picture stream is a multiply of audio. If you want to be sure, try NFS-TCP but even with SMB there are no issues. ISO is to be avoided.

I'm running the latest Jan 29th firmware version.  I tried NFS-TCP, but with that configuration I could not see the files on the UnRaid server.  Is there a setting on the UnRaid server I need to allow the NFS-TCP?

Post your NFS/share config on the C-200. Have you enabled NFS for that export on the unRAID box you are trying to mount on the C-200 (NFS is separate from SMB)?

Have you tried soft rebooting the C-200?

Not looking at it but from memory the first drop down box was NFS-TCP was selected, IP of the server 192.168.1.103, folder name was the user share BluRay Movies, I tried it with no username and no password as well as with a user name tower and no password.  It took it both ways but neither way I could see any files on the UnRaid.

The SMB share is setup exactly the same way with the first drop down box having SMB selected instead of NFS-TCP.

Crap, missed the part in your message on enabling the NFS for export on unRAID, how do you do this for the shares?  I remember seeing a blank box next to a NFS on the settings tab, but didn't know what I needed to type to enable it.  That would be the problem with that portion.

The path mostly differs between SMB and NFS shares. No need to input user/passwd with NFS. Post exact path for mount and check if NFS is enabled within unRAID for that path.

I am currious to see if you have the same problems over NFS-TCP. Try to check this prior checking everything else.

You may try to use the "NFS Server" browser on the C-200 to find the NFS share and save yourself inputing the exact path. But NFS must be enabled on unRAID. Use either unMenu or unRAID Main menu tab "User Shares".

Will do found the How to for the NFS in the Wiki so I will give that a shot when I get home from work tonight and see if that helps with anything.

tried it with the NFS-TCP setting and had the exact same results, perfect video but the audio is choppy.  The funny (well not really) thing is if I switch the audio channel to the french or spanish version it works perfectly.

What audio format is the English stream?  Seems like you might be having HD audio issues with this particular release.  Are the other language tracks in the same audio format and have you tried other films and gotten similar results?

Ok, so you definitely don't have network issues then, definitely not!

I'm trying to copy a few more blurays to the unRAID but it's only transferring at 10mb/s, so it's somewhat slow going.  I did get seven pounds and another bluray ripped into the folder format from the BluRay, but in the file structure it just causes my popcorn to just reset and start over like a soft reboot.  Those restarts were with the SMB share, when I tried the NFS share I got a region code mismatch error and it wouldn't play.  So I'm going to have to try pulling out the raw video file from those and see what it will do if anything with those.

Man I guy could go crazy trying to get this all sorted out.

The first track in the movie is Dolby TrueHD.  It seems that you are trying to play the m2ts file directly.  The current firmware does not correctly stream either the native TrueHD audio nor the interleaved Dolby Digital "core".  The French and Spanish tracks are plain Dolby Digital tracks so there are no problems there.  You can either convert the m2ts file to a Blu-ray folder structure or ISO, or remux the m2ts file to a Dolby Digital audio track.  Lots of tutorials on the Network Media Tank forums.

Good input, I didn't not realize it had problems with the m2ts files directly, and have recently found out it doesn't like the Dolby TrueHD.  Are the tutorials in the wiki somewhere or just on the site forums.  I have looked quite a bit on the forums and hadn't come across any tutorials, although I must admit I haven't looked for anything on how to create the folder structure, etc.  Any quick links to that info?  I had been creating my own disks, etc so I may already know how to do it, but it's been about 6 months since I had done anything with the BluRays.

The C-200 file player mode do not support HD audio, so Peter is right.

Remux m2ts to Blu-ray format with TSmuxer.

As Neilt0 indicates, using TSmuxer on the m2ts file to transform to Blu-ray format will work fine (software located at http://www.smlabs.net/tsmuxer_en.html).  Tools like ToNMT (http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=1786&page=1) and ClownBD (http://www.clownbd.com/) can remove unnecessary audio tracks and extract the core audio while maintaining the picture quality.  There are many options.

Good deal, so the TSMuxer is just putting it in a container basically?  Not losing any audio or video quality by doing it that way.  I already had Clown BD, but I probably need to check to see if there are any updated versions since mine.

The C-200 file player mode do not support HD audio

IIRC, it doesn't decode HD audio for use on the analog audio out ports, but HD audio will be output on the toslink or coax as passthrough.

BubbaQ, only if you play a full structure and not a single file in "file mode". cguffey is playing a file directly.

S/PDIF cannot support HD Audio.  That said, once the Sigma SDK has the necessary fixes, the file player should be able to output the "core" audio of both TrueHD and DTS-HD-Master, resulting in Dolby Digital and DTS, respectively, available on those legacy ports.

Does the C-200 support TrueHD/HD Master Audio via HDMI when playing physical or ISO BluRays?

abq-pete, do you know if/what is the timeline on the Sigma SDK getting the necessary fixes?

The S/PDIF supports the core of HD Audio only if in Bluray mode (but not file player mode). There is a difference between both modes. The Sigma SDK needs fixes for the file player mode.

So far no one seems to have any idea.  We are all waiting.
