I want to suggest adding rar2fs for easier handling of archived files. Could be used with many advantages for mounting media focused dockers and such.

Any chance you could please add rar and par2?

I might not be the first to ask but can you include rclone?

I know there's a docker and a plugin for it but the plugin needs to be installed every reboot and the container is more than I need.

That's no different than this. All packages have to be installed on reboot

Plugins are installed every time unRAID boots.    If you want to avoid a reinstall every time you would need to go the docker route as dockers are persistent across reboots.

The rclone plugins though are a little messed. By the authors design, they download the install file during installation. Since the network isn't running yet when the system boots up and tries to install the plugin, the plugin installation fails, and have to be reinstalled manually again

Thank you for adding this. I noticed that a library was missing.

"rar2fs: error while loading shared libraries: libunrar.so.5.6.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

"rar2fs: error while loading shared libraries: libunrar.so.5.6.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Try installing unrar

Edit. Might need to add newer version of unrar

I'm an idiot.

Thanks so much dmacias! I see that you updated the github repository but the latest version of nerd tools that I have installed is from 2018.02.17. I've tried uninstalling and installing from the plg file but it's still 2018.02.17. Is there a way for me to manually update to the latest version where rar and par2 is installed?

The plugin is only updated for backend plugin related fixes. All packages are updated individually on github. That way I don't have to update the plugin for every package update. So if you go to the Nerdpack settings page in the unraid webgui, you should see rar and par2cmdline. If not, click on Check for Updates. Then toggle them both to On and click Apply.

Dev Pack would be a better place to request Ruby.

Okay will do.

Hello, I was looking for a svn docker and saw version 1.9.5 was include in the Nerd Pack so I try to use it. I got an issue already discussed at page 31 of this thread (apr-utils make it as mentioned in the thread) but now I am getting an issue with the libicui18n.so.56 and other shared libraries from the ICU library. Svn is trying to use version 56 when unraid seems to include version 60.2 according to this

ther error:

svn: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.56: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

On another thread I discover ldd and got this when running it:

What should I do?

Edited by AlexMex

I download from slackware 14.2 repository icu4c-56.1-x86_64-2.txz  and execute

upgradepkg --install-new icu4c-56.1-x86_64-2.txz

Executing install script for icu4c-56.1-x86_64-2.txz.
Package icu4c-56.1-x86_64-2.txz installed.

Package icu4c-60.2-x86_64-1 upgraded with new package ./icu4c-56.1-x86_64-2.txz.

Now both versions seems to be present in the /usr/lib64 folder.

Can it generate issues?

My nerdpack is empty on Unraid 6.6 RC1. Would love to install python2 for libvirtwol

Also empty on my system!     Plugin probably needs an upgrade to be compatible with 6.6.0-rc1.
