If the apps tab doesn't appear, then there must have been an installation error, which would have displayed when you went to install the plugin.  Post that up

All's well that end's well.  VM & Docker's will not affect installation of CA though.  Would have been nice to have seen whatever error was popping up before however...

I'll try to recreate, but I don't think I can remove CA..

Edit: It seems like my unraid stops installations before they are done. While downloading a plugin, it just says done. It doesn't install it.

Edit2: So I had the apps tab for a while. (couldn't install dockers from it, only plugins) so I tried to install it again.

"DONE"

Still no apps tab. Attached file shows how my "plugin" tab looks.

12-03-17-4ryD.png

Somethings not working quite right on your system.  What I'm not sure though...

I just uninstalled CA and associated modules and reinstalled and everything works perfectly.

The "jigsaw" icon tells me that those two modules didn't install correctly.  And the little warning about "makepkg" during install tells me that the download may be corrupted (but somehow managed to pass the md5 checks)  Perhaps from the initial failed installs, unRaid thinks they are installed for some reason.

What I would do:

On the flash drive, delete the following if they exist:

/config/plugins/community.applications (folder)

/config/plugins/ca.backup (folder)

/config/plugins/ca.cleanup.appdata (folder)

/config/plugins/ca.update.applications (folder)

/config/plugins/community.applications.plg

/config/plugins/ca.backup.plg

/config/plugins/ca.cleanup.appdata.plg

/config/plugins/ca.update.applications.plg

Then reboot and try again.

(And when you did briefly have the Apps tab, the reason you couldn't install docker apps was probably because docker was still disabled)

For some reason the CA package is corrupt? :(

Sorry, I formatted my flash drive and reinstalled unRaid. Something had to be wrong with my installation. After a fresh install it worked perfectly. Gonna try other packages as well that I know didn't install properly before. (Perl from NerdPack didn't work before for example..)

Edit: This is so confusing to me.. Now I have the apps tab, but nothing in plugins.. Also I can't seem to download the diagnostics files.

Sounds like you maybe still have a problem with flash. Reboot in SAFE mode then post diagnostics.

Personally, I'd rather see the diagnostics before a reboot.  Nothing here is making a lot of sense.

If you can get one. Might have to try to get one from the command line.

Still seem to be able to download any diagnostics file..

Tell me what you want me to do and I'll do my best to collect any data. Seems like a lot of stuff is faulty with my system.. Can't seem to show PCI Devices and IOMMU groups in Tools>System Devices either. However I can run lspci in terminal.

Did you try typing

diagnostics

at the command line? It will try to save the diagnostics to flash.

If you can't grab diagnostics via the command line, then post up:

Output of

df

Save the syslog to the flash drive and then upload it here

cp /var/log/syslog /boot/syslog.txt

Output of

ls /var/log/plugins

"diagnostics" seem to work. Should I do it in Safe mode or after I've tried to install packages?

Phoque it.  I'm at a loss.   I've asked a moderator to split these posts out to a separate posting as nothing here is making any sense, and we need more eyes on it...

There aren't any meaningful errors being reported.

You said you've reformatted the flash drive.  My hail mary question is to ask if when you formatted it you made sure that it was FAT-32, not exFat or NTFS...

Alright, thanks for the help!

Have you got another flash drive that you can try as the plugins are stored on the flash? Install the trial unRAID version on a new flash then see if you can install community apps then.

Yeah, I'm gonna try that now!

Shouldn't be able to affect it.  After the installation starts, the browser has nothing to do with it...

As squid says browser won't make a difference. I always have used chrome myself.

Maybe uninstall ca now on the new flash then reinstall it from remote PC through chrome.  Should install fine.I think it was a bad flash drive possibly?

I'm pretty sure everything was my fault. Server time was not set...

I managed to split this, I think without losing any of it. Split works quite a bit differently than the old forum (you must select all the posts you want before telling it to split), and merge does something completely different (merges multiple posts into one, instead of merging them into another topic).

Recently, I had to obtain a new key and flash drive to get my array back up and running.  Discovered none of my dockers work nor are my plugins there.  No worries, I just pasted in Squids link to get community apps and the tab back.....Didn't work, said there was a network failure.   Ideas?  I'm pretty much dead without my plex docker or my apps.
