May 25, 20179 yr Solution When your support post has been solved please edit your title post with (SOLVED) to let others know your issue has been resolved. For Example. Drive unresponsive ---> (SOLVED) Drive unresponsive As well if somebody just happens to have the same problem and does a search or sees it they might be inclined to see what was done to trouble shoot the problem so they might solve it the same way. Obviously if its a problem is still in progress and your still troubleshooting do not edit your topic.
June 23, 20179 yr If your problem is solved, or was a simple misconception on your part, then please do NOT delete the thread. Other users may still find it interesting, and there may also be links within other threads to your posts

February 11, 20206 yr Can I just remind people to mark their discussions as (SOLVED) when they have had a satisfactory outcome. I"m not a moderator, just a daily 'browser' of the forum and it's becoming tedious seeing the same open discussions when they should be closed off tidily. It helps everyone. Thanks.l Edited February 12, 20206 yr by superloopy1

December 14, 20214 yr Author Nice.... Lol I only suggested it Many years ago because it gave the Original Poster some power to say "My problem was solved and if anybody else needs the same info here it is."

March 11, 20233 yr Should this advice to change subject be amended now that threads could be marked solved. I see we get a mix of both approaches today. Consolidating on mark solved is probably good now

It has the green checkmark so I'm going to leave it at that since it is in the same place and means the same thing.
April 28, 20233 yr Sadly due to the apathy of what seems to be a majority of people, it will forever remain unsolved.
April 29, 20233 yr The confusion has been summed up in the last few posts, now all that remains is for someone to unpin the thread so it's not prominently visible to add to the confusion. It will get a proper solution at some point I hope
