In your docker setup screenshot, notice the container path says /output, and the host path says /mnt/user/Dump. The container is jdownloader, the host is unraid, so /output = /mnt/user/Dump

I mount a external hard drive to my ubuntu machine running this container and then i start the container with the specified /output location. But when i start the container before mounting my external hard drive to my operating system then the container creates the missing folder and my operating system adds another folder with a number behind. The downloaded content will then be written to the internal drive because of this behaviour. I would be happy if someone could guide/help me a bit with this problem. Maybe i can correct it easily with docker settings? ..or is there a docker config which could be added? 🙂 best regards dockerstarter

September 23, 20187 yr I'm having the same problem. After the update yesterday the docker won't stay running for more than a few minutes before crashing.

I'm not aware of a method to dynamically change/update a mapping while the container is running.

September 27, 20187 yr actually i just attach it to the usb port of my linux mint machine. Linux then automatically mount the drive to /media/username/nameofharddriveorssd/ i use portainer.io for a graphical administration of my local docker containers on the same machine.
November 13, 20187 yr Just updated unRAID to 6.6.5 from 6.5.3 and now this is what I get when trying to access the Jdownloader WebUI. Nothing was changed otherwise. I feel silly now, I probably should have at the very least tested another browser and then when it worked I would have thought to clear the cache. I'll bet I'm not the first nor will I be the last to have problems that are fixed this exact way, right? 👍 Thanks!

No you are not the first having this issue I should really add something about this in the README.
November 19, 20187 yr I'm unable to get extraction working on this docker. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Extraction is enabled in the settings and there is plenty of space on the drive. I'm able to extract the rar files manually but jdownloader refuses to extract anything.

Do you have the issue only with rar files? Can JDownloader extract other file types (e.g. zip)? Note that there no official support yet for rar5 files (https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=71069).
