I started this before watching videos, assuming its file structure was like windows. I was obviously wrong. So it’s kind of a mess currently. Is there a better way i can do this to un-fuck my folder structure?

FWIW, I found this method in Reddit that seemed to work for me until they fix the log bug. But note if you have qbittorrent internet facing, it's a risk.   Add this line under [Preferences]

For me radarr and sonarr picked up my changed password no problem. The steps I took were: -Edited the binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn container: Changed the Repository field to binhex/arch-qbittorre

Looks like you don’t have a watch folder set. You can put something like /data/watch in the Monitored Folder section and that will be the watch folder (blackhole). The actual host path would be /mnt/user/data/watch.

 

You can also just use the add torrent button in the webUI. Either the torrent file(s) or the hyperlink. I personally think this is easier.

I did, but it wasnt working so i just deleted that part of the config. if i put /data/watch as monitored folder, i also need chromium to download its files to that folder. what path would i need to hand off to the chromium docker for it to download to /data/watch

The host path. You would need to add another path to the chromium docker with a container path and the host path above. Then in chromium use the container path you set.

The issue I'm having is being unable to access my webUI while connected to a VPN. I can however access the webui when I set VPN_ENABLED to "no." With VPN enabled, I keep getting a "gateway does not support nat-pmp" error in my qbit log, even when I enable NAT-PMP and select a P2P-enabled Proton server in the config.

Having problems deleting files also.. I have mine set to remove the torrent and delete the files after X Hours, and i manually removed a torrent and told it to delete the files and it left the files.

 

EDIT:

I reverted back to a older version by setting my repository to binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn:4.6.7-1-01 and everything works as it did before update.

Hopefully someone with this issue can test and report back.


yup just tested 5.0 again and that setting was the cause of the problem. Changing it to “delete files permanently”fixed it for me.

Hello, I am having an issue with seeding. I am using I am using ProtonVPN with WireGuard and have followed the steps from Q/A31 on the Github FAQ (https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md). I am not sure what the VPN_USER and VPN_PASS values should be, so I ended up using my Proton OpenVPN / IKEv2 username and password. I have attached the Command Execution and Supervisor Logs. I do not have any issues downloading, only seeding. Thank you in advance for any assistance on this.

setting the “delete permanently” did fix the issue with not deleting files.. the only other issue i am having is in chrome when i open my webui is that i think the torrent info window at the bottom keeps opening full screen and i can not see my active torrents i have to keep clicking the collapse panel button on the right side of it..  i refresh the page its back open expanded and blocking everything.. 

 

i might just stick to version 4.6.7-1-01 until it breaks and stops working..

I had the same problem with the new webUI.  Not really a big fan of the way the qbit devs have implemented dark mode either. I installed one of the alternate UI’s. It’s really fairly easy to do. Basically just create a folder in /config and download the webUI files to it. Set the path in the qbit config and restart the container. There’s a little more to it than that but not much. I posted a link to the alternate webui’s a few posts up.

I am having some problems with iptables and DNS lately but do not know why. In the log it says a file was created at /tmp/dnsfailure but this directory seems to be located inside the container so that I cannot access it.

 

Do you guys have any advice after reading the log?

Hi All, 

 

I'm trying to make the switch from delugevpn to qbittorrentvpn. I'm having a couple of issues. When I add a torrent link, it shows as active in the status bar. However in the main screen it does not show the torrent. The log says it was added. What would cause this to happen?

 

Also, I'm seeing this error in the logs. UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping failed. Message: "could not map port using UPnP[10.69.199.142]: no router found". I'm using mullvad vpn, and all containers using this as a proxy work fine. Should I ignore this, or is this causing the issue above?

ignore that, you don't ever want UPnP turned on.

This sounds like a bug that has already been reported in the qbit forum where the details section is expanded to fill the entire window. There is a spot you can grab on the bar at the top of that section and drag down to reveal the list of torrents. I fixed mine by switching to an alternate webUI. This had the advantage of also letting me turn off dark mode.

I'm trying to setup cross-seed and im failing on the qbit login part. it keeps telling me a 403 error. which is just bad login information from the error code. 

so i tried replicating the issue without cross seed. 

On my chromium docker i go to 192.168.1.170:8080 and attempt to login with my credentials. it tells me incorrect information

I log out of my qbit console and log back in with the same exact information, no isue logging in at all. 

I dont know what kind of issue im having or where i should really be asking this question. I'm not sure if this is a qbit issue, or just a general unraid forum question; so my apologies if this doesnt belong here!

IMO sounds like a qbit issue. The container has nothing to do with logins. Just fyi, you are now required by qbit to set a password other than the default. Sounds like you have already done this though. You can also whitelist your local network in the qbit settings to allow access without having to login if you are comfortable with that.
