peter_sm
Do you working on a plugin for version 5 also? I think its time to leave old UnMenu for the new plugin features :D So we are prepered when version 5 is official Quote Link to comment

I think its time to leave old UnMenu for the new plugin features :D So we are prepered when version 5 is official Nope, not as of yet. I know unMenu and am familiar with it. The package will be implemented to run on 4.7 and 5.0bX but I honestly do not feel like trying to build a unRAID plugin for 5.0b11+ and a package for use in unMenu. I understand the want for a "native" plugin but until I have a chance to really understand what is going on there I will not be transferring my unMenu packages to an unRAID plugin. They've made my unraid experience far more enjoyable! Being able to send Torrents to my server will be ridiculously good for me. Quote Link to comment
aoaaron
BTW would the transmission web interface be able to implement the sickbeard script to sort out TV downloads etc. or is that not a possibility yet? Quote Link to comment
prostuff1
BTW would the transmission web interface be able to implement the sickbeard script to sort out TV downloads etc. or is that not a possibility yet? Tranmission does not implement anything. You would have to set up sickbeard to place .torrent files it downloads in the watch folder, and then have transmission place the completed downloads in a specific folder. SickBeard should then be able to do the post processing, though I am not sure on the details. I have SickBeard set up in conjunction with SABnzb. Quote Link to comment
aoaaron
Ya I have it setup with SAB too. I meant for the odd show now available on usenet like the sopranos but no worries, I'll just do manual post processing. Quote Link to comment

The stuff above seems to indicate that it is not running anymore. If you are running these types of applications I would not bet on the server "going to sleep" if you have it set to do that. It is not something that I am going to bother testing for either, sorry for the bluntness of the statement. My server stays on 24/7/365 pretty much and I have no time to try and make mine sleep correctly when apps are "not doing anything." Quote Link to comment
naxiand
Ok I will try myself to figure it out if possible... maybe since I don't use the cache drive for file movement I could delete it and try snap. If its out of the array then maybe it works. Other wise I can do it manual from my mobile when is need it:-) Sent from my LG-P990 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

Thomss
so just via unmenu - I'm on like 5.0b6 at the moment and wanting to update to the latest version on unraid - I take it both unmenu and transmission run fine on the latest beta's of unraid. Quote Link to comment

Yes just via unMenu, my production server is on 5.0b6a still. My test server is on 5.0b12a. I will be making sure that the new package works on both of those for sure. I am fairly confident that the current transmission package works on 5.0b12a without to much issue. I do suggest holding off as long as you can until the new .conf is out. I have updated a number of things with it and it should be a much improved install process and cleaner in the long run. I will be testing this new package the rest of the week and uploading here this weekend sometime. Real world stuff got in the way last weekend so I was unable to complete testing. Thomss
Brilliant - I'll hold on for the new version since its fairly close. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Thomss
Does anybody know if the new package will be able to run as nobody by a tick box type solution. I'm currently having problems with the current package deleting certain files/folder from windows and have to delete from them from MC. Quote Link to comment
