So did you reinstall Plex by selecting the "my-PlexMediaServer" template on the Add Container page? Post your plex docker run command as explained in the very first link in the Docker FAQ: https://forums.unraid.net/forums/topic/57181-real-docker-faq/ Since you don't have any plugins you won't have an Apps page. The very first thing you should install is the Community Applications plugin. It will give you the Apps page I was talking about and will make it easier to install other plugins and dockers. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/38582-plug-in-community-applications/ I added Plex years ago, and I dont remember how it was done. It was so much info now that I am not sure how to proceed. Shall I install the Community Application plugin as the next step ?

OK, I see why you didn't follow my instructions to get plex reinstalled, it was already installed. I thought I had probably asked you to delete docker image earlier when we were cleaning things up but reviewing the thread I see I didn't. That should probably be done before doing anything with docker. Go to Settings - Docker, disable the docker service, and delete the docker image on that same page. Then enable it again to recreate docker image. Your docker will be gone but it is easily reinstalled from Previous Apps on the Apps page, after installing Community Applications. Maybe corrupt docker image is the problem with plex and not a corrupt plex database in appdata.
December 17, 20196 yr Author Ok, good. Docker disabled, docker image deleted and docker restarted again. CA downloaded, and I took a screenshot of previous applications.
December 17, 20196 yr Community Expert Looks like you had 2 previous templates for plex, but they are both for the deprecated limetech plex docker. We can try them anyway though just to see what happens. The one named PlexMediaServer is the one you had installed. Click on the "download" button, the downward arrow in the box for that one and that will launch the Add Container page I was talking about. Then, there will be a slider in the upper right of that page, move it from Basic to Advanced. Then post a screenshot.
December 17, 20196 yr Community Expert Looks like the first and the last don't have a container path. Click EDIT on the one for TV SERIER and post a screenshot.
December 17, 20196 yr Community Expert OK, that should be good. When you Apply, capture the output and post it. That is the docker run command I mentioned earlier as seen in this Docker FAQ: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/57181-docker-faq/#comment-564345
December 17, 20196 yr Community Expert That IP is the one for your Unraid server according to your diagnostics, but I am confused about the safari message. It seems to be saying it can't connect to that IP, instead of it can't connect to the 32400 port at that IP. Just to make sure, can safari connect to your Unraid server at that IP?
December 17, 20196 yr Author 192.168.190.100:32400 is Plex, but Safari says it cant connect to that server (ending with :32400). But Safari can (and do) connect to 192.168.190.100 which is where I do all my work on the Unraid.
December 17, 20196 yr Community Expert OK. Then I guess we will have to proceed with setting up Plex again from scratch. Go ahead and delete that container. We can leave its appdata in place and make a new plex under another name with another appdata.
December 18, 20196 yr Community Expert Container is a more generic term than docker, it refers to a specific instance of a docker application. Just click on your Plex on the Docker page and select Remove.
December 18, 20196 yr Community Expert Left-click on the Icon (for the Docker/container) and a dropdown menu will appear. One of the options is 'Remove'. Click on it and follow and instructions. (I would assume that the Docker will have to be stopped before removal but I am not completely sure of that.)
December 18, 20196 yr Author That was the problem, could not find a remove botton when I did this. Please see screenshot enclosed. I can only see remove shares for Plex.
December 18, 20196 yr Community Expert No, that is the screenshot for the Update Container page. You were supposed to select "Remove" from the dropdown. You must have selected "Edit" instead of "Remove". 34 minutes ago, Kjetil said: I can only see remove shares for Plex. I don't know what you mean by this. I guess you mean Remove mappings on that page, but that is the wrong page.
December 18, 20196 yr Author This was a bit of a pickle... I can not find a dropdown meny. When I go into docker, I find the Plex media app but no dropdown meny. And when I press the PlexMediaServer I go into the meny in the 2nd photo.
December 18, 20196 yr Community Expert IT should look like this: Click where the black arrow points. Red circle should remove the docker Edited December 18, 20196 yr by Frank1940 add 'art work'
December 18, 20196 yr Community Expert You need to click on the icon (not the name) to get the drop-down menu.

And another way you can get that same dropdown is by clicking on the icon for your plex in the Docker Container section on the Dashboard page. That is where I usually work with my dockers that are already installed.
