  1. Start here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=819173
  2. Most boards have CPU slots (slots that are connected directly to the CPU) and PCH slots, slots are connected to the chipset, since that board has dual CPU it has enough lanes to use only CPU slots, the device *might* have worked better if there was a PCH slot.
  3. No need to disable the pool, just change the use cache setting for that share to 'no', then change it back.
  4. Yes, it used to default to export, but for security reasons it was changed some time ago.
  5. Both are CPU slots, but looks like that board only has CPU slots.
  6. Test failed, either replace the disk or try a full disk write to see it the sectors are remapped and don't come back again.
  7. Are the shares being exported? Currently Unraid defaults to no (Share -> SMA Security Settings)
  8. It's normal for VM virtual network performance to be slower than using a dedicated NIC, also make sure you are using virtio for the network model, it usually performs better than virtio-net.
  9. Try a different PCI slot if available, if it's elated to the PCIe errors some slots might not show the issue, especially CPU vs PCH slots.
  10. Make sure disk spin down is disabled before starting.
  11. Forgot to specify, run the extended test, short one doesn't do a surface scan.
  12. Aug 12 17:17:38 homeserver kernel: ixgbe 0000:05:00.1 eth1: NIC Link is Down Aug 12 17:17:38 homeserver kernel: bond0: (slave eth1): link status definitely down, disabling slave Aug 12 17:17:38 homeserver kernel: ixgbe 0000:05:00.1 eth1: NIC Link is Up 10 Gbps, Flow Control: None Aug 12 17:17:38 homeserver kernel: ixgbe 0000:05:00.1 eth1: NIC Link is Down This is filling up the log.
  13. You can do it manually, download the v6.9.2 zip and unzip all bz* files to the flash drive.
  14. Emulated disk4 didn't mount because disk3 dropped offline: Aug 25 01:41:22 ToscheStation kernel: ata10.00: failed to IDENTIFY (INIT_DEV_PARAMS failed, err_mask=0x80) Aug 25 01:41:22 ToscheStation kernel: ata10.00: revalidation failed (errno=-5) Aug 25 01:41:22 ToscheStation kernel: ata10.00: disabled Check/replace cables, might also be a power related problem.
  15. You can run a SMART test to confirm if they are a problem of not, if they are filling the drive with zeroes might remap them.
  16. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary in the first diags posted, or are they after rebooting?
  17. Did you test with a non VM client like mentioned?
  18. Reboot in safe mode and see if the GUI is any better, does the music share appear on Shares? If yes click on "compute" and post a screenshot.
  19. Nothing relevant logged, PCIe errors were of course suppressed, but that might not be the problem, does the server crash without that device?
  20. Swap cables between both SSDs, if the Crucial keeps dropping replace it.
