  1. If it's shutting down by itself there's likely a hardware problem, like overheating or bad power supply/board.
  2. Disk has 2 FAILING NOW attributes and should be replaced.
  3. Start by upgrading the LSI firmware to 20.00.07.00, all other p20 releases have known issues.
  4. No, lack of trim can slow down writes, but it depends on the amount you do and SSDs used, it can also have a small impact on the SSD life, but other than that it shouldn't be your problem.
  5. See here for some recovery options: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=543490
  6. No, it would need to be part of the mount command, only options Unraid uses are noatime and nodiratime Jun 11 19:07:38 Tower1 emhttpd: shcmd (113): mount -t btrfs -o noatime, nodiratime /dev/nvme1n1p1 /mnt/cache
  7. That's not a fast/easy answer question, you can always google it and read the various opinions. I won't cause any problems, but might as well disable it.
  8. You can boot with current flash in legacy mode, just need to change the BIOS boot order.
  9. The you posted the wrong diags: Apr 17 18:10:48 Unraid-Host kernel: smpboot: CPU0: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Processor (family: 0x17, model: 0x1, stepping: 0x1)
  10. Your are overclocking the RAM considering the CPU and number of DIMMs used, see here, it's known to cause stability issues with Ryzen, since 2 DIMMS are single Rank and the outher dual dual Rank not sure witch speed is the correct, 1866 or 2133, probably 1866, and that's where I would start.
  11. You can try after the restore, but wouldn't keep my hopes up. Correct.
  12. This suggest it's failing to create the folder.
  13. The most likely is the balance operation not finishing, either when you removed it or when it was added back. This is normal during the balance, balance can take several minutes depending on how much data there is. This usually means data corruption, you can use btrfs restore, but it will restore any files it can, including corrupt ones.
  14. Disk dropped offline so there's no SMART report, check/replace cables and post new diags.
  15. You just need to backup the config folder, any way you like.
  16. You can have dual link to the front expander and then cascade the second expander, but ideally and for best bandwidth you'd have two HBAs, one going to each.
  17. Disk15 is showing some pending sectors, run an extended SMART test to confirm if it's really failing.
  18. Asmedia controllers are fine with 2 ports, anything Asmedia with more than 2 ports usually uses SATA port multipliers, like yours does, and those should never be used with Unraid, anything Marvell is also no recommended.
  19. Best bet would be to post on the dedicated support thread:
  20. SAS2 LSI controllers don't currently support trim, see if you can connect the SSDs to another controller, like onboard AHCI SATA ports if available.
  21. Please post the diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics
