Sorry, I was thinking if your files were huge maybe that could cause a problem. But they are smaller than mine so that shouldn't be it.

How large are your logs? I am logging from two remote sources and haven't had to restart anything -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 14349976 Feb 22 17:12 syslog-192.168.10.1.log -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 169062 Feb 22 17:13 syslog-192.168.10.188.log Although I do need to look into logging less from my router

Unraid's log is still in /var/log/syslog . If you also want it in the new log folder you can set Unraid up as it's own remote syslog server. Just put your Unraid IP in the "Remote syslog server" area.

Go to Settings -> Syslog Server, enable the Local Syslog Server and set a port and a folder to store the data in. Then give your router the IP of Unraid and port you specified. Go to Tools -> System Log and there is a new dropdown where you can specify which log file you want to look at. Or you can access the files directly in the folder you specified.

Also, which theme are you using? Just trying to get enough info to reproduce

I would let Unraid bypass pihole and talk directly to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). If you search the forums there are a lot of issues that are solved by taking pihole out of the equation. And Google's DNS are known to work.

Unraid as a client is not officially supported, but Unraid as a host needs to be able to pass disks to whatever the client is. And once the host releases the disk so it is no longer visible under /dev/, it seems like it should be removed from the dashboard the way it is removed from the UD tab.

It looks strange to me, but ok. When you say "make the first column longer", do you mean I should delete some shares? Here is a slightly different view, shouldn't "Users" slide left too? (it doesn't matter whether Users is open or closed, it stays on the right)

I'm going to uninstall this from my 6.7 systems then, I don't want to deal with downgrades messing up something in Unraid.

I installed this on Unraid 6.7.0-rc3, which includes git version 2.20.1 by default. During the install process, it looks like the plugin "upgrades" to git 2.14.5. The syslog server in 6.7.0-rc3 works great! As an extension to this feature request, could we somehow leverage the /Tools/Syslog viewer to view files saved by the the syslog server?

If I set the plugin to display battery or voltage, there is a broken image in the footer: I think it is because this file: https://github.com/dmacias72/IPMI-unRAID/blob/master/source/ipmi/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ipmi/include/ipmi_temp.php has a few icon references: src='/plugins/ipmi/icons/mb.png' src='/plugins/ipmi/icons/cpu.png' that need to be converted to fa font icons since the images were removed from the plugin.

Hey that worked! To complicate things further, I also have this 8 drive external case https://www.pc-pitstop.com/sata_enclosures/scsat84xt.asp any thoughts on having columns of 3, 5, and 8 drives? I'll probably add a second 8 drive case in the future to max out the LSI 9201-16e card. update... actually I can add the 5 and 3 together and have two columns of 8. That will work. Oh you're right! Does the plugin install the package only when needed?
