  1. Thats's exactly what I did and yet again did just now. That's why I am so confused that nothing is changing although it says it completes.
  2. Thanks. That's exactly how it it shows in my settings. To be precise, the export wasn't enabled, but I did so after your commnent. Didn't change anything though. I still cannot access in Windows any of the files in this folder / share. And the permissions are inconsistent (see my opening email).
  3. Thanks. Where do I do that? Commandline?
  4. The share is called "permission". Please see diagnostic attached. Thanks for your help! tower-diagnostics-20251123-2347.zip
  5. I am wondering how to best switch to the plugin branch? Just replace lscr.io/linuxserver/lidarr with ghcr.io/hotio/lidarr:pr-plugins? Or is there also a linuxserver version of the plugin branch? Related and separate, possible to use an old version? If so, how to make Unraid pull the old image?
  6. It somehow started working again. Maybe indeed a network issue. I remember someone mentioned this being a known issue, but couldn't find where. Maybe discord. Great this should no longer be the case. Will report back if/once the issue comes back.
  7. I am trying to fix permissions of one folder on my cache disk. I called it "permission". It is weird though as the task (tools / new permissions / target:shares / items:permission) and it completed. However, the permissions didn't change. Permission folder is still "drw-rw-rw- / nobody". The folders within are either "drw-rw-rw- / nobody" or "drw-rw-rw- / myusername". Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix? Helpful to send diagnostic log? I already rebooted Unraid, but no change.
  8. Here is the diagnostic log and also the full error message. I couldn't find the forum post anymore, but remember I had the same issue with prior updates and was told that this is a structrual issue / bug. --------------Can't download Nvidia Driver Package v580.105.08----------------- Removing package: nvidia-driver-2025.03.25 plugin: run failed: '/bin/bash' returned 1 Executing hook script: CA_postHook Clearing Community Applications plugin cache Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks Plugin installed tower-diagnostics-20251121-2056.zip
  9. Let me get a diagnostic log. I thought the "upgrade issue" was a known bug. It happens at every update and I posted about this. After upgrading Unraid, the plugin is still installed, but the nvidia driver is no longer installed. I will find the thread and post. What is different this time is that I cannot reinstall the plugin. After removing it, I cannot install the plugin at all. It gives me the errors above while attempting to install the plugin. Let met get the diagnostics.
  10. I have a similar issue. After upgrade to 7.2.1, I cannot get the plugin to work. I uninstalled, rebooted and tried to reinstall. I keep seeing "Can't download Nvidia Driver Package v580.105.08". And also "plugin: run failed: '/bin/bash' returned 1". I have issues with the plugin at every upgrade, but it typically works when reinstalling. But this time somehow does not.
  11. I am using @EDACerton 's plugin, which works really well for me. I just bought @SpaceInvaderOne 's video to set up a travel router (MT3000). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qq9e9U6KhiU Unraid plugin is set up well, so I can access Unraid GUI once connected over tailscale. My objective is to access my Unraid GUI from devices that are connected to my MT3000 travel router (without tailscale installed on the device itself). So, the MT3000 provides all connected devices with access to my tailscale / Unraid GUI. I tried to follow the video, but noticed that it suggests to enable "custom exit node" and "allow remote access LAN". Are both needed? I was hoping that I can access my Unraid GUI without the travel router using an exit node (for speed / latency reason). Possible? What is an absolute must-have to enable? Thanks!
  12. I think what @Masterwishx is saying that this is expected behavior. It only movesfiles and deletes the last-level folder. So, you will see a folder tree and it is not moving folder structures. This should be a FR. I agree this would be an improvement.
  13. It is working again. Not sure what solved it, but I did two changes. I changed the username and I added subnet. Something did the trick and I can access Tailscale again remotely (with Tailscale). Another somewhat related question, is there a way that Plex figures when using Tailscale remote streaming and I can select a lower quality (to avoid buffering)?
  14. Got it. Got the server log. Please see below and please let me know if you need anything else for trouble-shooting. Thanks! https://pastebin.com/qGS2KX5B
  15. I am seeing below in the docker logs. Is this what you are looking for or shall I SSH to get the plex log from the appdata? Critical: libusb_init failed
  16. I am not sure whether this is new and related to 7.2 or has been an issue with my configuration before. I can no longer access Plex when away from home (via tailscale). When trying to do so via the web interface, I am asked to enter my username and password. And afterwards, it says "internal server error. something went wrong on our end". This also happens when I access my Unraid VM via tailscale and then locally try to access Plex via 192.168... When trying to use it through the Plex APP on IOS, I can access Plex, but only have trailers and streaming services, but not access to my library. All works fine when I am on my local network. Thanks for your help!
  17. Somehow read & write operations seem to fail on my cache disk? From dockers, etc etc. Anything in the logs? tower-diagnostics-20251021-0852.zip
  18. Did you ever solve this issue? I am planning to shrink my VM as well and wondering whether this still works. The spaceinvader video quite dated.
  19. One purchase of a 1,650W PSU later, the issue seems resolved ;-)
  20. Here we go with another diagnostic file. Trying different combos how to connect to mobo and HBA to rule out it's an HBA (overheating) issue. If it's the PSU, it is far easier to solve. If it is a power cabling or a HBA overheating issue, far more trouble... tower-diagnostics-20251003-0955.zip
  21. I don't think I have this, but let me look into the cabling. I don't even have crazily many disks (8 with HBA, 5 with mobo, 2 nvme), so 750W feels plentiful? I also removed my GPU (though is old and shouldn't draw too much either), but this didn't bring any change. Let me try whether it works when I run 6 disks from the HBA. I still somewhat have the hunch that my HBA card is the issue...
  22. This reads like a hard to crack problem... Any idea how to get ahead to trouble-shoot? I noticed things do seem to work well as long as I use only a few disks. Once I start using more than 4-6, challenges pop up. When starting the server, all fans go on with a big boost. Then everything turns off again. And then everything starts again (without the "boost") and things properly start. I have a solid PSU (NZXT C750), which isn't too old. So, I don't suspect that I am under-powered per se and also the PSU should still have life.
  23. Thanks. When you say power problem, you referring to the PSU?
  24. I don't know why, but me giving it another try with an HBA card is turning into a nightmare. I am trying to isolate the issue. Somehow, disks don't mount / cannot be mounted / cannot be added to the array. I am struggling to find the logic. I thought it was a heat issue when attaching more than four disks to the HBA. Got another HBA to connect 4 each. But no improvement. The second one is also meant to be more energy efficient, but it seems equally unstable (or even worse). Maybe the easiest is to share a diagnostic log. Maybe you can see anything and make some sense what's going so wrong? Thanks for your help! The log is with only one HBA connected. With only 4 disks connected to the HBA. None of them being identified and none of them possible to mount. tower-diagnostics-20251002-2208.zip
  25. I think I fixed it by replacing the mobo battery and/or by updating firmware.
