  1. I first installed telegraf without completing the config changes (some changes were there, not all). I then deleted telegraf including ISO, deleted the config file, deleted databse, and then re-installed telegraf after putting cofig file in the folder. Now, telegraf wouldn't start saying "/bin/sh: apt: not found". Any one getting this error?
  2. I have a server chassis with 24 bays (all 3.5 inches), and I'm using 3 for unassigned, 1 cache, and 20 for array). Although I've maxed out, I've been slowly replacing old 3tb SAS with shucked 12 TB drives. With the recent 6.9 release, I hear that I can now create various cache pools. So, I'm hoping to use this feature and potentially create 4 cache pools all with raid 1 (cache pools for different purposes to avoid IO Wait). But that's already 8 drives being used for cache, with 2 parities, I'm only left with 14 drives... So, I'm exploring how I may be able to separate array and cache all together... My hope is to keep the current chassis as primary, hosting all array drives, but then get 2-3u with plenty of 2.5mm bays. Not sure if such solution exist, or I somehow need a full server solution, and somehow turn it into dumb SAS enclosure (seems way too overcomplicated, if I have to go through this route). Any thoughts?
  3. RAID 1 is still btrfs right? No concerns there? What would be UD usage scenario now? I used it for Plex / SABNZBD staging. If I can have three separate cache pools, I don't think I need UD anymore.
  4. I think I may have seen somewhere that now we can have multiple cache pools? does that mean we don't need data going to unassigned drives anymore?
  5. I've been having this issue where unraid comes to halt every 30 seconds. It becomes unresponsive, and would just freeze. I don't know what's causing it, but it seems to happen when SABNZBD is doing something whether download or unpack. Could you help me understand how I may be able to troubleshoot? zeus-diagnostics-20201130-0236.zip
  6. Can someone help me understand what's happening? This happens pretty often, where nothing happens when a file is post processing, eventhough I don't have "Pause Downloading During Post-Processing" selected. Any thoughts?
  7. yeah honestly, I made so many changes this week including going through somewhat complicated methods of getting rid of ISP's modem (I had to get us-16-xg to get full 1gb/s), I don't know what actually caused the speed to improve...
  8. It's been running overnight, it's holding up pretty steady, It really does depend on the file though it seems like more recent files are, better speed I get. but the speed does fluctuate, and drops to ~70MB time to time. I think that's more to do with IOs than WAN bandwidth.
  9. It really depends on the file, a few files, I get only 5MB, but in most of the time I get at least 80MB, and some files, I can actually get 1gb/s sustained
  10. Is there anyways to see the performance of indexers? trying to figure out which ones gives me the best result
  11. Just FYI... I made a significant improvement in home network, Changed my router to ubiuiti UDM Pro (didn't change speed much). Bought US us-16-xg, to use as bridge my ISP GPON to regular 10GB SFP. and then, got myself PCIE SFP, which I'm using link aggregation to us-16-xg. now I'm getting 100MB/s sabnzb!!! Not sure if it was all the investments, but I'm super happy!
  12. Have you tried mapping the networkdrive (assignes drives letter)? I'm assuming you're trying to access the smb from windows right?
  13. were you maxing out the LAN connection or external network? what was your bandwidth? The reason I mentioned it may be unraid's how it handles connecting to external network, is because my VMs would get 350 mbps on speedtest whereas my desktop gets 750mbps (even though my desktop is actually further from the router.
  14. Tried running on VM, still maxes at 30MB. starting to think it's something to do with how unraid handles WAN.
  15. were you able to find solution for this?? having exactly the same issue
  16. Good to know that I'm not alone in this.... May actually give it a try in VM, but if I run Sab within VM, how do I connect it to RADARR / SONARR Docker container?
  17. I've been trying to figure out why I'm getting slow usenet connections and I've been trying various ways to get more bandwidth. I have a gigabit fiber, and from wired PC (ethernet), I get various speedtest results, but never below 700mbps (speed test shows 850mb/s, but I'm assuming that's overinflated) The server (also wired), when I run speedtest under setting, I get ~500mb/s, I don't know why I'm seeing a drop of 300mbps vs. speed test from my PC... OpenSpeedTest-Server-For-LAN-WiFI-HTML5-Network-Speed-Test, shows 1gb/s connection. Usenet transfers hovers around 30MB/s speed, regardless of server setting and I cannot find out why. File transfers between PC and unraid goes ~100MB/s, so I'm assuming it's not caused by network or wires. I have 3 usenet providers (1 US, 2 NL), and here are couple of things I tried: 1. SABNZB - no VPN, US server priority 0, , rest priority 1- 10 connections, SSL - max 30MB 1. SABNZB - no VPN, only US server priority 0 ,15 connections, SSL - max 30MB 2. SABNZB - No VPN, all server priority 0, 10 connections, SSL - max 30 mb 3. SABNZB + nzbget - No VPN, USserver priority 0, rest priority 1 - 5 connections / container, SSL - max 30MB combined 4. SABNZB + nzbget - No VPN, USserver priority 0, rest priority 1 - 10 connections / container, SSL - max 30MB combined 5. SABNZB + nzbget - No VPN, disabled US server in SABNZB priority 0, rest priority 0-1 - 10 connections / container, SSL - max 30MB combined 6. nzbget - No VPN, all server priority 0, 10 connections, SSL - max 30 mb What's interesting is that speedtest ran on one of the Windows VM (remote desktop) resulted in 400mb/s, so even slower than unraid speedtest... I've also played around with the priority settings here and there.... So I'm confused... Based on speed test on my PC, it seems like I have semi/solid WAN of ~700mb/s Based on file transfers between PC and unraid, I think cache drive drive speed are fine, and getting 1gb/s Based on speed test on unraid, I have ~500mb/s Based on various testing, the entire nzb group seems to be getting ~30MB/s (240mb/s?) What could be the culprit in this whole thing? am I wrong to assume having additional server would help increase the speed? Why wouldn't it max out my bandwidth? Or at least close to what unraid speed test is saying?
  18. as always you guys enlighten me, if usenet providers are logging the network activities, it doesn't matter where the connection is coming from. they could triage using the username... I guess that's it from usenet's vpn.
  19. I just tried for a sec to remove vpn, and I got 60MB/s... Quickly turned it back on, and I'm back to 10-20mB/s... What am I risking if I turn off VPN :)?
  20. Same, tried Israel too, but it's the same
  21. Hi there, yesterday, I installed NextCloud and then SWAG, nextcloud was working fine from LAN, but now that I have SWAG set up, Nextcloud only works over external network on my cell (https://nextcloud.mydomain.com), if I'm connected to wifi it wouldn't work. When I'm on LAN, whether I try [local ip]:444 or https://nextcloud.mydomain.com, I can't access Nextcloud... I read it somewhere about nat loopack, but my router that I got from fiber ips doesn't have the option... could you point me into what are my alternative? found it weird that I can't even access via [local ip]:444...
  22. is it just me or PIA has really slowed down? I used to get 30MB~50MB (I have 1Gb/s internet), now I'm getting 5MB/s~10MB/s
  23. Thanks I checked up their unify video app, it seems like a subpar product... I know synology has a decent security / Surveillance option. Seems like it's not the case for unraid?
