  1. Isn't that what you want to save on the array? And as I already said: Looking again at the log though, I see the plex appdata is actually in a share named "appdata" though that is not what you have specified as your default in Docker Settings. So your appdata share actually shows up anonymized in your diagnostics, but I found it. And it is cache-prefer. So, mover is moving your appdata TO your cache, which is confirmed by the syslog: Dec 23 22:11:52 Tower move: move: file /mnt/disk18/appdata/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media 2. If you click on your own user icon on the post you just made it should take you to your post history and you can find it that way. Lots of other ways to find your own posts, such as clicking on Activity Streams and making the appropriate selection. And here I give a link to the new thread: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/86463-bgeorge104-redo-cache-drive Better hurry and take it before I split these off too.
  3. I guess you might as well wait for mover to finish, then you will have to reboot to get your logspace back. Then some new diagnostics. If I understand correctly, your ultimate aim is to transfer everything from cache to the array so you can reformat cache. Is that correct?
  4. It's not disabled, the button is disabled because it isn't finished.
  5. Yes, your log space is getting full, because it is logging mover, and mover is moving the (probably thousands of) files in your plex appdata. Also, you are getting wrong csrf errors in your log. Do you have any other browsers open, including mobile?
  6. You have an unusual configuration with your dockers. Your default appdata is in a user share named "docker". Is this really where each of your dockers have their appdata? I haven't looked at the video, but likely it is telling you how to backup your appdata when it is in the standard location. In any case, I don't see any point in continuing this here in this appdata backup plugin thread. I have split it into a new thread. And for reference in case there is anything still relevant there, here is his older thread: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/84474-cache-drive-full
  7. Sounds like your problems go deeper than just this plugin. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post. I may split your post and any responses into its own thread. ***EDIT*** In fact I see you already have a thread from a few months ago and it is likely your problems have just continued from there since it doesn't look like they were resolved. Maybe I will split these back into that thread.
  8. I don't know how you got so much space use in domains without VM capability. And libvirt is mounting. I know there is a bug that prevents working with that page, but I don't see how you could have gotten any of that enabled in the first place. Did this configuration come from another installation or something? I guess we will just let that go for now. You really should upgrade Unraid. As for your dockers, go to Settings - Docker and change the docker image to only 20G, then enable dockers. You can add your dockers back just as they were by using the Previous Apps feature on the Apps page. But just as they were is probably not good enough since you had created a problem the way they were. What dockers did you have? Probably best to take them one at a time and see if we can figure out where you went wrong.
  9. There are other settings that control which disk Unraid will choose when writing new files. Split level has precedence over allocation method, so if split level says a file should go together with other files then Unraid will choose the disk so the files stay together. I'm not entirely clear about your whole picture, the history of your disk assignments, and any other settings you may have. Possibly if you would post your diagnostics we could take a closer look. But I typically just leave things on Highwater and don't worry about it. You have replied to a post that is nearly 9 years old, and in a subforum reserved for Unraid V5 and earlier. Would you like me to split your post into its own thread in a more appropriate subforum?
  10. Looks like you have plenty of space on cache. I don't understand why you have so much space used in the domains share if you have no VMs. Go to Settings - VM Manager and disable. Then set appdata, domains, and system shares to cache-prefer if they aren't already. Then run mover again and do another Compute All screenshot.
  11. No need, and in general diagnostics are better if you don't reboot, since syslog, included in diagnostics, doesn't survive a reboot.
  12. OK that looks good. Do you actually have an VMs? Post a new diagnostic.
  13. See support thread for your docker. You can always go directly to the correct support thread for any of your dockers by simply clicking on its icon on the Dashboard or Docker page and selecting Support. In particular, start with these recent posts: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/71764-support-binhex-krusader/?do=findComment&comment=801972
  14. That is what I have, a Sandisk Fit USB2 and it has been working for me for 6 years.
  15. That docker run looks like it should give you access to flash in Krusader. So is everything else really working OK, or has your flash drive disappeared? Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post.
  16. That may work out for you, but I recommend only using USB2 flash drives especially if you are getting one of those small ones. The small USB3 drives have been known to overheat, USB2 port is more reliable for the Unraid boot flash, and there is no advantage to the faster USB3 speed since it is mostly only accessed at boot to load the OS into RAM.
  17. I'm not sure what you mean by that. The config folder is what I said, there isn't a config file. And without that config folder you don't have any of your configuration. Perhaps what you mean is that the old license.key file did not work on your new flash. Of course, that is the whole point, the license is tied to the GUID of a specific flash drive.
  18. If you lost your disk assignments that suggests your flash backup and restore didn't work for some reason. Do you know what your disk assignments should be? The most important thing is to not assign a data disk to the parity slot. Those diagnostics show one cache disk assigned but nothing assigned in the parity array. Your disk assignments should be in the config/super.dat file, but that file is not human-readable. Diagnostics shows you have that file and a couple of others with similar names that are probably backups of that file. Looks like there is also a DISK_ASSIGNMENTS.txt file in config that might give some clues.
  19. There is some debate whether preclear is a must. Its only purpose now is for testing and burnin. It used to have another purpose, clearing a drive before adding it to the array, but Unraid will clear a disk itself when a clear disk is required. I haven't use preclear in any of its recent versions but as far as I know there is no way to change the number of cycles after you have started it. I think it is possible to start it over and make it skip phases it has already completed but as noted haven't use it lately. I don't think there is any fixed upper limit to the number of drives that can be precleared at once, but I suspect if you try to do too many you will have problems. Some settings may not be accessible until you have at least one data disk so you can start the array. There is a lot about working with a large capacity server that will just take some time simply due to the amount of data. Might as well learn some patience.😉
  20. If everything else is working it is much more likely that you just don't have Krusader configured correctly. Post your docker run command as explained in the very first link in the Docker FAQ.
  21. yes Did you have a previous plex installation before creating the new array? By NAS, are you talking about the same server you are running plex on? I am confused about that due to your saying you linked it to your NAS. There are several ways to interpret that, one of which would mean your media was on a different server.
  22. No, those hidden DS_ files are notoriously from apple OS. Windows doesn't make those. Do you mean you renamed it in User Shares in the Unraid webUI? There isn't any old plex. This is a completely fresh install you are working with. If you renamed a user share in Unraid, then plex will not have any way to know that you renamed it. If you added a "library" in plex that accessed that share under the original share name, then that library will still be in plex, but since the path to it will not exist anymore, there won't be any actual media for that library to access. So, you would still be able to see the contents of that library in plex, such as any artwork and other information plex had downloaded and associated with the media. But the media files themselves are no longer at the location plex expects them to be. So if you attempted to actually play that media it wouldn't work. I don't know if this clears anything up for you or not. Maybe I don't understand what you mean. Perhaps some screenshots from plex would help clarify. I have been using Midnight Commander with Unraid long before there was an Apps page, and it is not on the Apps page. It is a builtin linux application that you have to start from the command line. Search Google for Midnight Commander and form your own opinion about whether or not it is straightforward to use. How do you know about those hidden files? What are you actually looking at that shows them to you? Getting rid of those files could probably be handled with a single linux command if it were done correctly, but if done incorrectly it could get rid of things you don't intend. In order to suggest a linux command I would need to at least know what user share you are talking about. Probably we would work through it with multiple commands just to make sure we are doing it right.
  23. Set appdata, domains, and system shares to cache-only. That won't get them moved to cache where they belong, but it will get them ignored by mover until we can make space on cache. Set all other shares to cache-yes and run mover. Wait for it to complete, then post another Compute All screenshot.
