  1. There are multiple problems with this docker container. 1. The container just stops at completely random intervals. There's absolutely nothing written in the log at all about why this happens. 2. There doesn't seem to be any proper updates being made. That is, there are still updates for all of the pi-hole components after updating the container itself. So the container is not pulling the updated FTL, web interface and pihole version from source. This container needs a lot of work. I wish I could help but I don't know the first thing about building or maintaining one. Perhaps OP could put this on Github and allow others to make pull requests and push changes.
  2. I'm having an issue with the rTorrent container. I can't change the port from 6881-6999, and the DHT port from 6881. Pretty much every private tracker and ISP on earth blocks port 6881 and other common torrenting ports. How do I change this port? It's set to 8118 in the container settings but trying to change it from within the WebUI doesn't work. Changing it and stopping torrents does nothing. Sites still report it trying to use 6881. Changing it and restarting the container just sets it back to 6881-6999. @binhex You should consider changing the default port to something else far more obscure. Most ISPs are okay with ports above 60000 and not many ISPs block those.
  3. I'm getting sustained download speeds of about 89MB/s and Upload speeds of about 31MB/s. This is on a 1000/350 connection and during VPN usage. If your implementation is slow then either your machine is just slow or your connection is slow. This container performs better than Binhex's RTorrent container, which by comparison is way less aggressive in connecting to peers for quick seeding and the rTorrent container tends to lock up if I tell it to delete more than 5 files at a time, even though my entire array is built from 4TB SSD drives running on 2 Xenon processors. Speeds are whilst connected to NordVPN.
  4. Thanks for the eventual reply. Still get a 401 error when trying to open the UI via the Unraid docker panel so it's not fixed still. There's a method to fix it in one of my previous posts. Typing it in manually works fine though. Good to have you back and I hope you enjoyed your summer!
  5. Ok so today for seemingly no reason what-so-ever the WebUI is telling me that my password is wrong. Checked the encrypted md5 hash and cracked it and sure enough my password is correct and is the same I've been using forever. Restarting the container didn't work. Forcing an update didn't work... So I guess that's it for me then. I'll use ruTorrent from now on. I really like qBittorrent but we don't seem to get any updates anyway. I'm not messing around with stuff like this that just randomly decides to stop working. EDIT: Fucking Bitdefender blocking the login because it sends the password unencrypted... Added the url to exceptions and it works fine. Also as others have said Mark doesn't seem to come here any more. I've messaged him twice about a month ago and am yet to get a reply.
  6. I don't know why but this container is crashing at completely random intervals. Sometimes after just 5 minutes of being started, sometimes after 5 days. There's noting in the log except that the KILL signal was sent even though nothing should be stopping the docker container. If it's some kind of backup application, I don't know why this is happening because then it should happen to ALL my containers and yet it only happens with the PiHole docker container. I'll try and dump a log next time it happens but the last couple of times I checked there was absolutely no useful information at all. Just that one minute it was working and on and the next it's stopped. I've also tried deleting its directory in the appdata folder and reinstalling and also using a different upstream DNS. This didn't happen 1 or 2 updates back. It may not be related at all to this container but another service on my server but I will try and get to the bottom of it.
  7. Alright mate thanks! At least with it set up like this I can just check for changes with the theme by applying the updated default in the admin panel and if there has been good changes I'll merge the comments code over as well. I really appreciate the fast response! Have a coffee on me!
  8. So just copy the casper folder and name it casper-comments like you did or something and set that as the theme in the Ghost admin panel? Alright I'll try that, but won't that stop the edited theme from being updated when I update the container?
  9. This is actually amazing that I am being ignored like this. I'd actually prefer to be told to piss off than have people just outright provide no explanation why my post was deleted and why no one wants to even try to answer my question. This container does not play well at all with trying to reverse proxy the websocket part of novnc. It was working fine before the last update and now it stopped entirely and only gives me a broken page. @binhex et al. Is there seriously no one who is going to reply to my question? How on earth do you reverse proxy this thing. I know someone has been able to do it and I would appreciate it if you could share your config, subdomain or subfolder, I don't mind.
  10. @cheesemarathon Thanks for the reply mate. I am a little confused. I have already edited the default casper theme post.hbs file to include the Facebook comments developer's script. From the documentation it looks as though I could just zip the whole 'casper' folder and upload it into the admin panel and the code would survive an update or did I assume something wrong here?
  11. With the Ghost docker container is there a way to persist changes because every time I update, I lose the ability to have comments on my blog and I have to edit the theme file to put the comment box back. This is highly annoying. Is there an easier way to enable comments permanently on the blog that survives updates?
  12. I still can't get this to work. I can connect to the Unraid server's OpenVPN server. But none of the services on my home network are available. 192.168.1.1 (router) or 192.168.1.50 (unraid server) aren't available, neither is anything else. Also after only about 2 minutes it disconnects me and says "Invalid credentials". Even though my credentials are fine and they work to login in the first place. 13. 16GB of ECC DDR4 RAM because I thought I'd be using loads of VMs and other stuffs but now all I really use is just docker and I don't need basically any RAM at all for that. So it's just sitting there lol.
  14. NordVPN Now can someone tell me why I can't download anything via RSS?
  15. Hey folks. I can't get RSS to auto download anything. Whenever it tries I just get an error: [03.09.2018 21:44:43] Error loading torrent. (<torrentURL>)
  16. Was the update important? Sounds like a pain so I don't think I will update at this time.
  17. Ghost docker isn't working any more. Seems to be a problem with the MySQL docker needing to be updated. Could you set it up to work without even needing a relational database? It's definitely possible as shown here: https://blog.alexellis.io/your-ghost-blog/ Relational databases are a total pain in the ass to setup and maintain and they're really easily corrupted. Finally, is mailgun also really necessary? They want my credit card information AND my mobile phone number. AFAIK the SMTP part of Ghost is just for getting email notifications of new comments and for also making posts via email etc. but I think most of us don't need or care about that. Especially when Ghost for desktop has notifications built in and there are also Ghost plugins for Desktop notifications via eg. Chrome etc. Could you please look into these issues and look at making the install process more streamlined?
  18. No I asked specifically HERE in this thread about reverse proxying this particular container with letsencrypt. I don't have memory problems, someone deleted my post. It's still indexed in various search engines but the link just redirects to the first page in this thread. I shouldn't have to spell this out. There is literally no reason why my post should have been deleted. If someone has a working reverse proxy config for this, please share it.
  19. Anyone got a working reverse proxy .conf for this? Could you please share.
  20. It doesn't work. I've literally tried everything. I can see all information except for docker containers, vms, or any of my logs what-so-ever from the Android app. I'm using the latest plugin version and the latest Android store app. It just says that I need to install the server. Can you please give me the login information so I can see maybe if there's a setting in there I need to change or something, I dunno.
  21. I know I asked somewhere how to reverse proxy this with the letsencrypt container. Was my post deleted? I cannot find it any more. It shows up in Google that I asked, but my post is literally nowhere in this thread. I'd still like to know how to reverse proxy this docker app. If anyone has a proxy .conf file or something I'd honestly appreciate it and if my post was deleted I would like to know why because it's a legitimate question.
  22. For people having issues getting this to work under reverse proxy with linuxserver.io's letsencrypt docker, see my post in the other thread here for the vpn version of qBittorrent: Would be great to see an official vpn version of this container set up by linuxserver.io
  23. After 3 days and about 20 cups of coffee trying to work how to reverse proxy this container I finally got it sorted. Using linuxserver.io's letsencrypt docker. I made my own proxy.conf file here: # qBittorrent devs on Github indicated the Origin and Referer headers needed to be surpressed, # and that the X-Forwarded-Host needed to match what was seen in the browser, # as of version 4.0.3 these are the working settings. # Note: For some users, several windows in the Web UI will still be blank, such as when adding # a new torrent from a URL/magnet or local file. # If so, uncomment the last line "add_header" # to enable password access, uncomment the two auth_basic lines location /qbt/ { # auth_basic "Restricted"; # auth_basic_user_file /config/nginx/.htpasswd; proxy_pass http://192.168.1.50:8080/; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $server_name:$server_port; proxy_hide_header Referer; proxy_hide_header Origin; proxy_set_header Referer ''; proxy_set_header Origin ''; # add_header X-Frame-Options "SAMEORIGIN"; } This successfully fixes the redirection issue due to mismatching header data and well... it just works in general. I tried for ages to get it working on a subdomain but I just couldn't. Always ended up getting the blank page issue. Either way I'm not picky. This works fine for my needs. Credits mostly to: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/wiki/NGINX-Reverse-Proxy-for-Web-UI The developer of this container @ MarkusMcNugen may be able to use the same thing to fix the inherent issue regarding the webUI redirect problem mentioned in the first post.
  24. I've got a problem with this. Using UNRAID 6.5.3 I can't see any of my docker containers, vms, or any of my logs what-so-ever from the Android app. All I can do is see storage space and spin down/shutdown the server. Also what's the login information for the Webui via the plugins tab? I do have that installed.
  25. @MarkusMcNugen Hi and firstly thanks so much for this amazing docker. The VPN credentials part was by far the easiest of any docker I've used here. Binhex's dockers are great but require a crazy amount of configuring to get working. Just being able to drop my .ovpn config server file of choice in and throw in my username and password is exactly the kind of simplicity I honestly expected from other dockers, instead of being tailored the hard way to only work with one or two providers. I have a problem though. No matter what I do or what interface or port I choose, I absolutely cannot open the WebUI. You said that clicking "WebUI" from unraid doesn't work. But neither does going to http://<MYIP>:8080 or whatever port that I pick. I've tried every interface I've created and made available except Host. I either just get a completely blank page or a "page cannot be displayed" error. Can you give me a hand? Also is there any chance you could set up some kind of SSL and .htaccess security for this? I know I'm just being lazy asking for it but running over HTTP is kinda crazy in this day and age. When I get the WebUI sorted I'm going to try and reverse proxy this so I can access it from the web but keep it secure with .htaccess. I'm happy to do both in the meantime but without the webui loading I can't do anything. I'd post a log but it looks like everything is meant to be working correctly. It's just the UI that does not load. I did attach my .ovpn config file though. Here's the last part: Thanks, and I seriously hope I see more dockers from you with the same simplicity. se44.nordvpn.com.udp.ovpn
