I believe that is the case yes. it separates them from other containers and directs the traffic via lets encrypt. For me I have my own domain so mine goes Domain CNAME for jitsi (Points to) --> single duckdns domain (Maintains my public ip) --> Firewall has dynamic DNS setup for duck DNS (updates my public IP to duck DNS) --> ports forwarded in my firewall as per Lents encrypt video (443 to 1443 & 80 to 180) --> lets encrypt container includes my jitsi domain & letsencrypt config (proxy conf) setup with my domain rather than the default. nothing else changed. if any of that makes any sense as i am far from an expert on any of this.

it should be as its part of the setup quoted in the video.. otherwise the other containers do not know where to route the information to I would imagine. I already had letsencrypt setup for other containers on my server so that bit required very little for me to change. Also the video does not go through how to port forward or how to add the jitsi domain you want to use to lets encrypt, i am assuming space invader is assuming you already know how to set that up.

ok all sorted. was that ip address error. found out how to edit it in portainer.

ok think i may have found the issue but unsure in the part of the video where it shows you how to edit the .env file and add the host container I think I typed it wrong as when I look in portainer under the video.meet.jitsi file in the env section the DOCKER_HOST_ADDRESS is incorrect because of my fat fingers (its not my unraid server ip) I just restarted the jitsi containers and now cant access it at all other than internally I tried to recreate those steps in the video to to edit this file and when i type nano env.example it seems to come up with a blank dock. is there any easy way to edit the DOCKER_HOST_ADDRESS?

Hopefully someone can help because something has gone wrong somewhere with me. So I use my own domain and have setup a CNAME dns record pointing towards my server I have done the following Forwarded UDP port 10000 to my unraid server ip address set lets encrypt to register my sub domain updated the lets encrypt folder with the jitsi.conf file and changed the domain inside Followed Spaces video to within an inch of its life... now here's the problem I can start a meeting and see myself and everything seems to work fine until a second person tries to join and I get an error saying something went wrong and it tries to reconnect. I have tried this on the android app.. another pc with web browser and it does the same. simply cant have more than one person join the meeting. any ideas?

ok all sorted. flushed the DNS on PC2 and restarted it and now seems to work with windows games.

ok this is really strange.. just downloaded another game from Xbox beta app. on my PC1 which points to my lan cache server DNS address that the game was initially downloaded to I uninstalled and click install again and its downloading at 98.9 MB/s (Compared to 2.9 MB/s from the internet) But another PC2 which also points to the lancache server for DNS same as my main PC1 is not sending any requests through the lancache DNS at all.. (for windows store games) using ipconfig /all shows DNS server as Lancache server.. Now here is the strange thing.... lancache seams to be working fine for steam on PC2 as I just installed a game I know I have chached and it did it in seconds compared to hours.....??? PC1 Xbox App - works fine Steam - works fine PC2 Xbox app - Not requesting from Lan cache Steam - Works fine any ideas?

Hi All. My daughter asked to set her up a server which I have but there are a couple of items i cant get my head around.. I have set-up a survival server and have enabled cheats in the server file and added my ID to be a operator which seems to work as I can change for survival to creative mode... but I dont seem to be able to toggle any of the options like friendly fire or keep day cycle... am i doing something wrong? I want the world to not cycle to night time.

if the speed is over what your normal maxxed out internet connection speed would be then yes its working fine. For instance i'm on a 30meg connection and usually download around 3.2 from steam. i just uninstall and reinstalled a game and download speed peaked at 79.7

Hi all. Has anyone successfully migrated over their exsisting cache from Steamcache to lan cache? I disabled Steamcache docker and downloaded lan cache.. I then gave lancahce the same fixed ip as steamcache docker had before and pointed the data file to the old steamcache folder where all my old downloaded cache was.. I tested a new download and that seemed to work fine after uninstalling/resinatlling in steam i see the download rate higher BUT for games i am sure are on the cache they seem to be downloading a fresh copy... is maybe the structure inside the steamcache folder different? Also maybe another silly question but in the logs of steamcache you would see hit/miss items dependent on whether the game is in your steam cache.. all i see when i run "tail -fn1 /mnt/user/appdata/lancache-bundle/log/*/*.log" is a "get" message whether the game is cached or not?

OK so after lots of reading I note this is an issue with browsers based on chrome and not the docker itself. I'm guessing using let's encrypt and my own dynamic dns is the only way around this if I want to access the Web ui from anything other than android or the chrome extension ? Only issue u have right now is I can't import my passwords from dash Lane as the only route seems to be via the browse ui?

ok so managed to create an account using the chrome extension and account shows up in the admin panel but I get the following error pop up when i try and login via the webUI cannot read property import key as null This only seems to be happening through the web UI... I can log in using the chrome extension and with the android connected via my wireguard VPN to my server..

Hi All. need a little help with a Catalina VM as i am getting to a point and then seem to be missing some steps to go any further. So i setup the VM fine and currently have it running and I am now trying to expand the template and pass through GPU and USB hardware. 1. Clover configurator: IS this part of the install image or is it a separate program you install in MacOS?. I found a version and installed it from the net. I then tried watching the Sierra video on passing through hardware and can click on the mount EFI in clover and have two unmounted partitions so i tried and mount both of them and then go to the section to enable the two options to nvidia web drivers but after clicking file/save and then re opening clover neither options stick. Also does anyone have a link for the nvidia web drivers for Catalina? 2. CPU pinning I have a ryzen 1700X and the Catalina image seems to max out loading with only 8 cores enabled.. is this the max Catalina can handle? anything above 8 cores and all i get is a stuck apple logo screen and the OS will not load. Thanks in advance

If I click on the + to reveal the partition and then click the X to delete it does something then refrehes and the partition remains. Where do I put the that command in a terminal window?

Hi all. Long story short I have an nvme drive in my server that for the best part of 3 months had been passed through at controller level running inside a windows 10 VM. This morning the server stopped responding and after trying to reboot it was trying to boot to the nvme target than my unraid usb. After during this in the bios the windows VM no longer booted. So I bit the bullet as no matter what I did I could no pass the nvme by ID to a new wm template and added it to cache as a pool with my other 1tb add. After a change of heart I removed it from cache pool. So here's the problem The nvme drive is now sat under unassigned devices but has a brts partition that I can simply not get rid of. I want to use the nvme by ID as the primary vdisk location but at the moment can't do anything with it. Any ideas Regards
