  1. Hi, I did a search for this error and the only solution i could find was to delete the old conf files and let the docker container redownload by restarting it. But the error still remains: "nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html)" Any help would be very appreciated ... i am an unRaid newbie [cont-init.d] 50-config: exited 0. [cont-init.d] 60-renew: executing... The cert does not expire within the next day. Letting the cron script handle the renewal attempts overnight (2:08am). [cont-init.d] 60-renew: exited 0. [cont-init.d] 99-custom-files: executing... [custom-init] no custom files found exiting... [cont-init.d] 99-custom-files: exited 0. [cont-init.d] done. [services.d] starting services [services.d] done. nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html)
  2. Thanks. Did that and received several errors. Something I need to care about? ***EDIT*** Did remove unmodified config and example files and did let Swag to fetch new ones - except one (site-confs/default.conf). Looks good so far. nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html) nginx: [error] lua_load_resty_core failed to load the resty.core module from https://github.com/openresty/lua-resty-core; ensure you are using an OpenResty release from https://openresty.org/en/download.html (rc: 2, reason: module 'resty.core' not found: no field package.preload['resty.core'] no file './resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/luajit-2.1.0-beta3/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/resty/core/init.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/5.1/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/5.1/resty/core/init.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/common/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/common/resty/core/init.lua' no file './resty/core.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/resty/core.so' no file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/resty/core.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so' no file './resty.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/resty.so' no file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/resty.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so') Server ready
  3. Hi, this is my first post, I am still new in unraid, sorry for mybe non-professionel question. I tried to migrate my running let'sencrypt docker to swag like described, so far so good. all is running. but in the logs i can see the following and I hope you can advice me what has to be done. nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html) nginx: [error] lua_load_resty_core failed to load the resty.core module from https://github.com/openresty/lua-resty-core; ensure you are using an OpenResty release from https://openresty.org/en/download.html (rc: 2, reason: module 'resty.core' not found: no field package.preload['resty.core'] no file './resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/luajit-2.1.0-beta3/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/resty/core/init.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/5.1/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/5.1/resty/core/init.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/common/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/common/resty/core/init.lua' no file './resty/core.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/resty/core.so' no file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/resty/core.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so' no file './resty.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/resty.so' no file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/resty.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so') Server ready Thx in advance.
  4. Alright, I've been reading through this forum getting all the answers to my problems so far. I was able to figure it out and get everything in a working state. I just have just a few questions now -- On startup I see the alert about the LuaJIT version issue, is that a problem? I also see the warnings for conflicting server names. How do I fix that? I have only used the default templates and only edited them where necessary. Certificate exists; parameters unchanged; starting nginx [cont-init.d] 50-config: exited 0. When I go to the http for that I get page not found, any ideas?

  6. Is anyone else seeing this error in their Letsencrypt logs? I'm specifically talking about the LuaJIT and resty errors. My reverse proxy seems to be working fine otherwise. 11. Hi, I've now received twice the "Let's Encrypt certificate expiration notice for domain" email and my certificate will now expire in 10 days. I've been using this Let's Encrypt container for two years without a single problem (btw : thanks a lot!) but it seems something went wrong few weeks ago. When going to my \appdata\letsencrypt\log\letsencrypt folder, no log have been written since the 15th of december : (ordered by last modification date) I don't recall modifying any config on my Unraid server in this timeframe, except upgrading to the final 6.8.0 (directly from the last 6.7.x version) and installing Wireguard (which is working fine). I don't know how to check the exact date I've installed Unraid 6.8.0 but it was quickly after its release. What I've tried without any success : restarting the docker restarting the server updating to Unraid 6.8.1 Looking for the the following informations : Logs are well written in the parent directories \log\fail2ban, \log\nginx and \log\php so I guess it's not a file permission issue. I see the following alert/error in the docker logs but from what I've found in this thread it's no big deal : nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html) nginx: [error] lua_load_resty_core failed to load the resty.core module from https://github.com/openresty/lua-resty-core; ensure you are using an OpenResty release from https://openresty.org/en/download.html (rc: 2, reason: module 'resty.core' not found: no field package.preload['resty.core'] no file './resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/luajit-2.1.0-beta3/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/resty/core/init.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/5.1/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/5.1/resty/core/init.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/common/resty/core.lua' no file '/usr/share/lua/common/resty/core/init.lua' no file './resty/core.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/resty/core.so' no file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/resty/core.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so' no file './resty.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/resty.so' no file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/resty.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so') The docker container doesn't stop. I've double checked my ports forwarding : and tested with success both my 80 and 443 ports with https://www.canyouseeme.org because I had issue with my ports forwarding two years ago when installing this docker. Any help would be greatly appreciated 😅 Thanks! (my Unraid diagnostics are in attachment) Edit : Except for this issue, I have no problem accessing my services (e.g. : AirSonic / Ubooquity) from outside my network using my https url. 13. Hi Everyone, I have tried to fix this myself for a few days and I have failed. So looking for some guidance. If this is not the right forum, please let me know and I will go to the UnRaid forum and ask there. 1. So I use UnRaid 6.7.2 and I installed the Letsencrypt docker app. I also installed nextcloud and sonarr. 2. I bought a domain irisnet.ga and I have put two CNAME in there. sonarr.irisnet.ga and nextcloud.irisnet.ga 3. I used dns certificate method in the Letsencrypt to generate the certificate and it generates for the two subdomains. http method doesn't work as the challenge fails. My port 80 might be blocked. Not sure about this one. 4. I followed spaceinvaders youtube videos to setup the reverse proxy for both of the nextcloud and sonarr. However, seems like in cloudflare is not able to reach my server when I type in https://nextcloud.irisnet.ga for example. I get a 522 error. Would anyone please point me in the right direction? Thank you! Update: I requested help on the Letsencrypt forum and confirmed that the certificates are getting generated. Cloudflare not able to reach my ip. or I am not able to get past my router. Because for example if I type in http://192.168.1.145:8989/ i can hit sonarr. But if I type in https://irisnet.duckdns.org:8989 or https://sonarr.irisnet.ga or https://sonarr.irisnet.ga:8989 it doesn’t go anywhere. Same with the nextcloud. I can reach with the internal ip. So if the certificates are working, the issue is either the router port is not redirecting traffic on 443 to 1443 or Letsencrypt is not forwarding to the right docker. If anyone has any troubleshooting tips, please let me know. On another note, the virgil (hassio on raspberry pi) when I tried DuckDNS with Letsencrypt, I am able to reach it using https://irisnet.duckdns.org:8123
  14. Hey all! I've been lurking for a while (weeks and months by now!) trying to figure out what I might be doing wrong, but figured it was time to actually ask for help I'm trying to set up letsencrypt to access nextcloud and others. I've followed SpaceInvaderOne's videos and various other guides online. I ended up switching to DNS validation thinking it might be an issue with port forwarding or my isp blocking some ports (as I understand it, DNS validation would avoid all this). Letsencrypt logs show "Server ready", but I still can't access my containers. I get an ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR message. I've also tried using tools like https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html to check and the IP resolves to my router, but it tells me that no SSL certificates were found and to check name resolution and port forwarding (which is how I switched to DNS validation in the first place). Any help would be appreciated! Are there any other tools that might show me better where things are failing? Letsencrypt log below. 17. Hi, First off I am a novice at any of this proxy network setup stuff with very little experience and understanding of what I am doing or what I am doing incorrectly, so please be patient (and if possible gentle) with your replies and comments. So I followed the guides by @SpaceInvaderOne , namely these three below merged together, and set up everything using my own domain. Video #1, Video #2 & Video #3 (related to this docker). Testing with sonarr for starters. I got server ready on the swag logs (pasted below): ------------------------------------- _ () | | ___ _ __ | | / __| | | / \ | | \__ \ | | | () | |_| |___/ |_| \__/ Brought to you by linuxserver.io ------------------------------------- To support the app dev(s) visit: Certbot: https://supporters.eff.org/donate/support-work-on-certbot To support LSIO projects visit: https://www.linuxserver.io/donate/ ------------------------------------- GID/UID ------------------------------------- User uid: 99 User gid: 100 ------------------------------------- [cont-init.d] 10-adduser: exited 0. 18. Thank You for looking.....so funny the timing, I was just fixing to post something. I was looking in the SWAG log (the log in the dockers tab) and it says this in it..... Could this be some kind of issue? I went to that url but its over my head, I have no idea what its talking about. nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html) The main ip address of my router is 24.178.85.225 and if you type that into a browser it goes to my Heindall page. Same thing if you type in my Dynamic DNS which is whiteunraid.tplinkdns.com I was told on the Heimdall thread that it shouldnt do that and it seems like I have the settings correct so I'm thinking it has something to do with Swag redirecting it or something. In my router the port forwarding is setup with the Unraid server ip address with external port 80 and internal port 180 and another one external port 443 and internal port 1443. Then In the Swag template I used port 180 and 1443. I also have swag and heimdall both setup in their templates with the same custom named network type....IS that all correct???

  21. Thx, I followed the instructions and deleted the conf files. The most of the log entry disappeared. 👍 Last message left is the system warning: nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html) Is there anything I could do on this? Many thx in advance,
  22. The plugin "Fix common problems" said the letsencrypt has a error because the name change to SWAG. and ask it it could change a It changed a url of something. So i click ok change it. and it changed the logo etc and some text. Tried a few times and it gave a error that a certificate could not renewed while everything it said was correct. it did said success ful added dns records etc ( using dnsplugin) and also removed it again but still fail and the docker didnt want to start. It also said “Plugin legacy name certbot-dns-transip:dns-transip may be removed in a future version. Please use dns-transip instead. “ I think i use the correct plugin. So I clicked apply again for the Xth time so that refresh/rebuild the docker. Finally after the XTh time ( lost count) all error were gone and the certificate works and the docker finally works. Only thing it shows in the log is the following error tho but everything seems to work again it does not break the container just yet.. nginx: [alert] detected a LuaJIT version which is not OpenResty's; many optimizations will be disabled and performance will be compromised (see https://github.com/openresty/luajit2 for OpenResty's LuaJIT or, even better, consider using the OpenResty releases from https://openresty.org/en/download.html)
  23. Hi, was there recently a change on Letsencrypt? Today my websites were broken, because the certificate was not renewed. Last Renewal was in April. In the Logs I cannot find an relating error, of course there are warnings, but I do not think they are responsible for the issue. ------------------------------------- _ () | | ___ _ __ | | / __| | | / \ | | \__ \ | | | () | |_| |___/ |_| \__/ Brought to you by linuxserver.io We gratefully accept donations at: https://www.linuxserver.io/donate/ ------------------------------------- GID/UID ------------------------------------- User uid: 99 User gid: 100 ------------------------------------- [cont-init.d] 10-adduser: exited 0.
