Squid
You should update to 6.8.3. Barring that working, you need to post your diagnostics (tools - diagnostics) (or diagnostics from the command line) Quote Link to comment
Pinesea
I've tried 6.8.2, 6.8.3 and 6.9, all the same. Can't connnect to localhost, it's no way to open the tools and download diagnostics. When I try unraid with another coomputer, It's OK. I got an IP Address of 192.*.*.* Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
Try changing BIOS settings for USB, like EHCI or XHCI, also if you are using legacy, try UEFI, or vice versa. Quote Link to comment

Connect a monitor and keyboard to the server. Log in as 'root' using root's password. (If you haven't set a password, it will be blank and you can just hit the enter key at the password prompt.) Type the following at the Command Line prompt: diagnostics This will write the Diagnostics file to the logs directory/folder on the flash drive. Shut the server down with the command--- poweroff --- before you pull the flash drive: upload the Diagnostics file in your next post. Quote Link to comment

Pinesea
Hi guys, thanks for your reply. I have tried the command of diagnostics, and got a zip file. Hower, I don't know how to copy it to windows system. There is no such zip file in my flash disk or HDD. Quote Link to comment

JonathanM
Pretty sure the issue is that the USB isn't mounting properly, so no way to save diags to it. Quote Link to comment

I can boot with that flash drive. Doesn't that mean the flash disk is mounting properly? Here is my flash disk: Edited February 6, 2021 by Pinesea edit Quote Link to comment

No. Booting is the first phase, which copies the base part of Unraid into RAM at /, then the program tries to mount the drive to /boot and read the rest of the configuration. The code that finds and mounts the drive sometimes has a hard time with USB 3.0 on some boards, which is why I suggested playing around with the BIOS options for USB configuration. JonathanM
That screenshot you showed is what should show up in /boot when Unraid is loaded. I suspect when you navigate to /boot, you won't see any of those files, meaning the flash drive hasn't successfully been attached to that folder. Quote Link to comment

JonathanM
Make sure your boot USB is in a 2.0 port with a black insert. Quote Link to comment

Although it's still Sandisk, but is USB 2.0. Now the IP address is correct. Thank you! Quote Link to comment
