January 22, 20251 yr I updated to the 2025.01.21 version of the plugin from 2023.12.12. After the update there is a harddrive showing in the dashboard even though all harddrives are unchecked in the plugin settings. I have tried Edge, Chrome, and Firefox browsers with removing cookies / cache and it still persists. Please let me know if you need anymore info. Thank you.

January 22, 20251 yr I tried installing the IPMI app, but it wouldn't install Free IPMI. Executing install script for freeipmi-1.6.6-x86_64-1.txz. This is how I found this page. In the end (at least until I can figure out why the IPMI Tools plugin (not IPMI-Tools) isn't working, I'm using this script: https://github.com/White-Raven/PowerEdge-shutup/tree/main There is an Unraid guide. Also, make sure your iDrac is Enterprise and you have set up IPMI control. Also, Unraid 6.12 and 7 need assistance to install IMPItool and related code (which, hopefully, the above mentioned plugin can help with since it installs it)

January 22, 20251 yr ok so i think i've actually solved it, i did the following: Motherboard and Model: Dell Enable Network Connection(s): No Enable Virtual Machine Override: Dell Motherboard Model: Any then in Fan Control i set it to Yes, then under fan settings i had to enable Advanced View and set the temperature sensor and fan speeds there and it seems to have worked.

January 23, 20251 yr Greetings, quick question about IPMI Tools. Is there support for ILO? I searched "HP" and "ILO" in the section and both returned zero hits. I apologize if you have covered this previously. I appreciate the intent of why this tool was created. ILO is a powerful little system. I would love to have granular fan control by the same means which would let me channel the data it generates into a log aggregator or dashboard. Especially any method that allows me to escape HP's garden. Thanks.

It does look like ILO support IPMI. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c04530505&docLocale=en_US Have you tried installing to see if the sensors populate in the GUI without enabling the network part. Fan control will not work as there is not any settings for HP currently. Could be added if IPMI command strings can be founded and tested.

(average of the 2 cpu temps, highest of the 2 cpu temps). currently i can just select one cpu or the other to monitor. if the non-monitored cpu gets used heavily, the fans wont ramp up
