After the update to Unraid 7.0.0-beta.3, docker UI with FolderView changed,  30% of the screen is unused.

Another thing, orange text on update doesn't work anymore.

I can't test the plugin on unraid 7 until its release, as I don't have a secondary server to use.

Any chance we could get a feature added to manually add webui links as a custom action for the folder level object?

Or maybe surface the existing webui links to the folder object?

I am running unraid 6.12.13. Recently, Folder View has pretty much quit working for me. On the Docker tab, only 1 folder out of 10 is displaying. All of the docker apps are listed, but they are not grouped into the folders I had created. On the VMS tab, neither of the 2 folders I had created are displayed, but all of the VMS are present. If I go to //Settings/User Utilities/Folder View/Open File Manager/

 

I see the docker.json and vm.json config files, so I now they did not get deleted. I tried to reboot the unraid server, but that did not fix the issue. Also, if I try to create a new folder, most of the options are not available.

 

Any Ideas?

Ended up uninstalling, re-installing, and re-creating everything.

Not sure if this is the right forum, but the plugin resets my folder customisations in the webui if i get impatient and double-click the submit button on the folder edit screen.  Is there  a way to fix this or bakup/restore my folders?

I have 1 folder that I can't get the Order to work inside the folder setting.

 

Tried different browser still no dice.

 

Order works fine for my other folders.

 

The only different I can think of is for the problem folder I'm using Regex, all others are manual selections. Would using Regex disable Order?

I'm on 7.0.0-rc.1 and the update yellow font is not working on containers requirement an update, but that happens regardless of it being in a folder or not so it's possibly not related to folder plugin. I don't want to remove it to check if its a but in plugin or unraid ui

Then add a custum webUI path.

this seems more like  an item that should be under the add folder / edit function and not a script.

more for the dashbaord quick access. (While i can hit expand to get to it. it would be nice to see and use the webui in the menu.)

If you're clicking on a group (folder) of containers, which container would the Web UI link to?

Or are you saying you want an item in the menu that you can customize where it links to?

So, for the PhotoPrism group, you could set the Web UI option to go to PhotoPrism and not the database?

 

I THINK the menus are out-of-the-box unRAID behavior. @scolcipitato may have hidden the Web UI link on the folder menu for obvious reasons.

Taken from the docker template. As I know I can click the globe or use the menu.... it more a lazy convince thing.

Yep. I follow what you're saying. Make sense. That's exactly how something like that should work. It's just a custom link for the click menu. You could use it to go to any URL you want. I just don't know how much the click menus are manipulated by this plugin. (I've been using it so long I don't even know what the UI looks like without it any longer.  )

Just noticed that It doesn't show the orange text for containers that can be updated. Currently on unraid 7.0 rc1.

I think someone else had mentioned that too. I'm sure it's an easy fix that can be rolled out when 7 is officially released. 

In the meantime, you can probably fix this with custom CSS.

Just had this happen to me. Double clicked the submit button on a minor change and landed back on the Docker page with the entire configuration completely wiped (docker.json is reverted to the default). Unfortunately I had just finished everything and my monthly flash backup happened just before I started. Huge bummer.

Came here to post exactly the same. I'm on v7 rc2. I guess will wait for the stable release of 7.

After the stable release I do have issues with the layout:

 

You can reproduce it by creating a container through compose.

 

I assume its the new Compose Stack information that breaks the layout

Could we get the decimal accuracy of the group to match the containers, or otherwise prevent multiline overflow?

I'm seeing the height expand and contract as sometimes the MEM_USED / MEM_TOTAL gets too long for the cell pushing it to display like:
MEM_USED /
MEM_TOTAL



Its just an annoying behaviour introduced in 7.0.0 (coming from 6.12) in an otherwise great plugin

this is set within the folder creation to add or remove some.

where is that setting? thats not part of Unraid OS or the plugin as far as I can find.

WebUI > Settings > Display settings. 
IS the only Unriad no plugin / extention that i can see that may affect that...

if you edit and add a few dockers.

Earlier in the forum and other resources sites and i was able to edit the spacing both up and down and left to right. you have to play with the numbers once you find it...

I randomly found this else where to fix what your describing but I didn't save the data and left this plugin due to default behavior and testing. i haven't had a chance to play around with it...

Those settings won't help as I have all of it turned off


changing listing height to fixed width makes it hilariously worse, and it still expands and contracts
