So sorry...for me it's the plugin...

To be more specific, my docker containers that had tailscale enabled would not start and when trying to start them, gave a "execution error - bad parameter" error. Once I disabled tailscale for those, they started up fine.

This is fixed next release. Apologies for any inconvenience

Has the "Advanced View" for the Docker page gone walkies in 7.2? I can't see it anywhere.

It's a known issue; the workaround for now is to enable tabbed view to toggle it (Settings - Display Settings - Page View).

After that you can go back to non-tabbed view, and it will keep using the last setting.

Is it worth noting cosmetic UI things? At this point in beta testing, I don't want to annoy the team if they have already been noted.

I am going to start a thread about the excessive use of the lsof and how it's increased my CPU usages noticeably.

thank you, thought i might be the only one but that confirms that im not crazy, sole reason i rolled back to 7.1.4 (cause the power draw went crazy high)

Do you happen to have spotted 2 threads as well?

Yes please! Maybe check here first to see if a bug report exists, if not please feel free to add one: https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/prereleases/

Thanks, I see your report here https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/prereleases/high-cpu-usage-lsof-720-beta1-r4005/

Many thanks to everyone testing out 7.2.0-beta.1!

A couple of highlights:

  • The Tailscale Docker integration is broken in -beta.1 If you use this functionality, we recommend waiting for the next beta.

  • If your array doesn't start, there may be some problematic files in the /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.my.servers/ folder on your flash drive, rename that folder and reboot. If that solves the problem, we are still looking for some examples of the problematic files, so if you could DM them to me or @elibosley that will help us track this down.

  • If you are seeing higher than expected CPU load, take a look at this thread https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/prereleases/high-cpu-usage-lsof-720-beta1-r4005/ . It is unclear at this point what the cause is, if you can provide safe mode diagnostics showing the issue that may help us track it down

And just a quick reminder... this announce post is perfect for quick questions or comments, but if you suspect there will be back and forth for your specific issue, please start a new topic in the Prereleases board. Be sure to include your diagnostics.zip

Thanks again!

Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but the blog post linked here. I think the Home Assistant Integration referenced in the blog post was the wrong one. I believe it was meant to highlight the API being integrated into Unraid OS, but the projected it linked to was the SSH version.

I believe this is the correct project https://github.com/domalab/ha-unraid-connect

I don't see qemu mentioned in the release logs, does that mean it is staying on v9.2.3?
I was hoping for an update to 10.0 or higher 🤞

Any specific functions you are looking for from 10?

Does this fix the regression for PCI-E passthrough in certain cases?

Here's a link to my problem on 7.1.4:

If it's a kernel regression, it may fix it, recommend testing. You can easily downgrade if it doesn't, but it's still a good idea to create a flash drive backup before upgrading.

Yes, all to do with Intel iGPU passthrough.

Primarily the adding back of x-igd-gms that was removed in 9.2:
https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/commit/37f05a59e8695df3d1206e7100190e48ec0af847

But also a lot of updates/fixes to the legacy mode and support for newer generation cpus
