May 23, 20188 yr Yep. Could not upgrade from latest dvb version to the newest unraid dvb version, so i changed back to normal unraid version (latest).

Hang on, I'm confused, is this a problem with the plugin parsing the available builds or a problem with the build once it's installed?
May 23, 20188 yr Im not sure. As the newest unraid update showed up i tried to install the latest version of unraid dvb. Thats where the journey starts... I think the problem is it times out, but why, is the question. Edited May 23, 20188 yr by nuhll

May 28, 20188 yr When I plug in my USB tv tuner to my server it gets recognized as /dev/dvb. However, if I try to use a usb extender w/ it then /dev/dvb is gone. I know the usb extender and cat6 cable and jumpers work because I did the same test with a windows laptop and it all works. Can someone please help?

June 14, 20188 yr LibreELEC and TBS Opensource done.CrazyCat repo has gone missing so no chance of that. Hopefully he'll return, both nothing I can do in the meantime.
June 22, 20188 yr CrazyCat repo maybe here? https://bitbucket.org/CrazyCat/media_build/downloads/dvb-firmwares.tar.bz2
June 22, 20188 yr Yeah, I spoke to one of the LibreELEC guys about it, and he got in touch with CC and I've got that link thanks.Question of time to build it.

And if the permission were an issue we'd be having everyone seeing the same issue. Nothing with the perms has changed since I released the first version of the plugin.
June 25, 20188 yr Ive restartet, now i got Kernel Panics (and i get the feeling this whole thing is just not working, for me, maybe wrong hardware) But it seems like its caused by usb connecting and disconnecting (wtf), its inside a server rack, there is nothing moving, ofc. Is there maybe a bios setting i could check to provent usb from disconnecting? Will upload log asap. unraid-server-diagnostics-20180625-1528.zip Edited June 25, 20188 yr by nuhll
