I did see in your release notes that the container also supported 7.4. i was looking for the container param to set that but didn't see it. I also checked if it was a release tag. i'll take another look. thanks!!

I missed that it's a basic config that's in the standard edit page.. i'm not smart sometimes. i was looking for a custom param to pass; missed the very obvious config.
September 5, 20232 yr Hi, I want to ask why the docker make a apt update when started? Setting up php7.4-opcache (1:7.4.33-8+ubuntu20.04.1+deb.sury.org+1) ... And the update ends with a ERROR in DB_PASS when the password is fine 'cause the owncloud works even with this error. Edited September 5, 20232 yr by Kanashii
December 3, 20232 yr Hello. I installed this yesterday. After some Problems with Config.php i could solve them, using the Container Commandline and typing the correct Values with nano. Using the one in appdata didnt work. ? So far so good. I can Access my Installation, using my Domain over nginx an also local using the IPadress. Problem: I cant create a new Folder or File. My User is not allowed to do this. After searching for the Problem i found out that the Data Folder ive chosen is not in use. Instead, ownCloud is using the Appdata Folder. I already changed it from /mnt/user/070ownCloud/ to the current state but it does not take effekt. I think i did something wrong but i dont know what. Thanks and sorry for bad english. Martin

But why did it work for years with apparently wrong settings? Anyways thanks for great and fast support. How did you repair it man? I have also this problem. Thanks a lot for help. February 28, 20242 yr Hey maybe I'm missing it but is there a dark mode option using this container? Also a second question... I set my /data container folder to /mnt/usr host so that I could access all my shares in owncloud. I loaded it up and watched the logs and it sat at "Correction permissions /data" so I got scared and stopped it. Is this safe? Should I let it do this? Edited February 28, 20242 yr by DevanteWeary
May 1, 20242 yr Hello, thanks for this container! I just installed for the first time, did initial setup, added email to send resets, etc. Put behind reverse proxy with Nginx Proxy Manager and able to access at owncloud.mydomain.com. Then I got to what I thought would be the easy part, actually using, and I am getting errors. From Nautilus on my laptop (Pop!_OS 22.04), either logging in via the WebDAV link or from the desktop app (installed as AppImage, was having issues with getting the Ubuntu build to install), I am not actually able to make any changes. If I try to delete, add, or create a file, I get forbidden errors. I assume this is an operator error and there's something I need to enable or configure to allow changes. Where should I look?

July 1, 20242 yr I'm new to owncloud. the installation went thought great. I monitored the status using the log window. the entire installation took a while but understandable. The issue I'm having is the initial user account set up and log in. After putting in the needed user name and password for both the owncloud and mariadb the window timed out, so I closed it and opened up a new window. Now it won't let me log in with the profile I created. Can you assist me with this issue? owncloud.log mariadb-bin.000003 Edited July 1, 20242 yr by mionemedia needed to add upload reference file

July 19, 20241 yr I'm installing owncloud docker and wanted to know if the network must be "br0"? I don't have bro as an option.
July 19, 20241 yr I've got ownCloud running fine if I put the IP Address of the container specified in the eth0 into the browser. For the rest of my services, I use Cloudflare with the "Unraid-Cloudflared-Tunnel" docker and zero-trust tunnels. Works great. I'm able to hit all of those services external to my home network. However, when I try to use the URL from the external Cloudflare tunnel, it gives me a 502 error, a request failed message and in the CloudFlare logs, and the following error message field date: {"connIndex":3"originService":"https://<internalip:port>""ingressRule":3"error":"Unable to reach the origin service. The service may be down or it may not be responding to traffic from cloudflared: dial tcp <internalip:port>: connect: no route to host"} I'm keying in on the "connect: no route to host" part of the message, but I can't figure out why this one doesn't work... It's the only one that's SSL by default, and I've set the "no tls verify" setting on in Cloudflare... That seems to be the usual recommendation, but I know it's on... Help?

I SSL'd into the CloudFlare Tunnel container, and couldn't ping the internalip:port for owncloud. Not sure why that is, but looks like it's a Cloudflare tunnel app problem? Will check there.

I was having the same issue connecting to the containers web UI. It seems you found a different solution but I was able to just change the port from 8443 to 443 and that solved my issue. I hope this helps someone out there having this issue.
