  1. Yes. It's actually the default configuration for unRaid to not reserve CPU cores for VM's exclusive use. Memory allocated to a VM is going to be unavailable for any other use if that VM is running. If it's not running, then the memory is available to anything else. Yes.
  2. Depends on how you set things up. You can isolate CPUs from unRaid and dedicate them specifically to the VM, in which case unRaid will never touch them regardless of if the VM is doing anything or not. Generally though, you would run Plex as an app on unRaid itself instead of within the VM, in which case whenever Plex isn't doing anything the OS can utilize the cores for whatever it wants to use. And, many many possibilities in between. IMHO, there is only one choice
  3. Try a different port for the flash. Also, under Settings - Scheduler, mover settings, disable mover logging. It doesn't need to be enabled and only needlessly logs its moves (though, you'll have to do this after a reboot and the gui looks the way you've set it)
  4. General rule, you can set any path to go anywhere on your array. PS, just because its a user share doesn't mean that it has to sit on the array. Nothing is stopping you from creating a cache only user share. You're running 6.7.2 If you install CA Auto Update Applications, it will patch unRaid (whether or not you use the auto update) to reflect a change made at dockerHub that is causing an update to always show as being available. (Alternatively, update to 6.8)
  5. This means that the main dir was still set to {$AppDir}. Main dir should be /data
  6. Run file system checks on disk 5 Nov 28 21:14:33 NASferatu emhttpd: shcmd (65): xfs_growfs /mnt/disk5 Nov 28 21:14:33 NASferatu kernel: XFS (md5): Metadata CRC error detected at xfs_allocbt_read_verify+0xd/0x3a [xfs], xfs_allocbt block 0xaea86690 Nov 28 21:14:33 NASferatu kernel: XFS (md5): Unmount and run xfs_repair
  7. lol actually a couple of days ago I just through up my hat and changed the feed to no longer report it as an error....
  8. I'm forced to admit that I do on occasion.
  9. Are you referring to the download? Its probably rclone updating itself. As @BRiT says, diagnostics would say (tools - diagnostics) post entire zip
  10. I have a pair of 4411s, and I found that certain drives just hate certain positions (I had one WD that didn't like it place in the world, and insisted on being moved, but every other drive didn't care). I'm running 12 drives with a 620W supply, but the one thing I did make sure of was to only use molex cables from the supply, and not use any SATA - Molex adapters (which necessitated me getting another modular cable from Antec) One thing I was very careful about was to ensure that the power and data cables only crossed each other at 90 degrees and that none of my data cables were tied to each other to minimize any chances of crosstalk
  11. You would have to go to Settings - Docker, disable the service, then enable template authoring mode, re-enable the service, and then the edit button will be there.
  12. Custom start script. Have that script start your rclone in the background
  13. Yeah, thats a change in 6.8 to make handling of icons more intuitive (and actually allow you to easily change them) along with lessening writes to the flash drive (the folder on the flash drive is no longer used on 6.8)
  14. What streams are you expecting to see. If you're expecting something to show that the plex app is streaming, then this plugin won't show that, as this show smb / nfs streams, not the files that a local app happens to have open
  15. Since these are mounted via unassigned devices, it would be best to post in it's support thread for assistance
  16. Only version available requires 6.7+. I'd suggest to upgrade
  17. Same one. Of course, due to idiosyncronacies the changes I made didn't show up on your link, but did show up on the one I was using, even though they were identical pages. 😕 It was only a quick edit. Myself I have no overpowering urge to revamp the wiki and fix everything. Usually I just concentrate on keeping the FAQs in the forum more or less correct
  18. FWIW, you are correct that the wiki is incorrect in that it's missing the step of hitting "New Config". unRaid is unique in the world in that the forum is so active and knowledgeable that the wiki suffers from not getting updated (ie: it sucks). EDIT: I've added in the step to hit New Config on the wiki (assuming that I was editing the page you were hitting)
  19. Model name: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor https://forums.unraid.net/topic/84411-unraid-672-freezes-overnight-mce-hardware-errors/?tab=comments#comment-782350
  20. https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/stable-releases/dockers-wanting-to-update-but-dont-in-the-end-r618/ TLDR: Update to 6.8 or install the Auto Update plugin to patch the OS for this
  21. Post a new set of diagnostics now that the one problem is fixed, and the logs aren't being cluttered by the other error
  22. Without digging in deep, what I think you're seeing is that on the VM tab as soon as both VMs are started, it shows as nothing is installed. Update to 6.8.0-rc7 to fix this.
