I am seeing errors on the dashboard for 2 of my drives. The Parity drive and a SSD. I think it was just bad cables, which I have replaced. By it is still saying error. I think the Parity could be just the age of the drive. Any thoughts? I have attached an image of the dashboard, the smart info for the parity drive and the diagnostics file. Hi all, Hope you are well. I have started spinning down my drives after 30 mins when not in use to try to save power. But I have noticed that 1 drive (a Toshiba 4TB) is having read errors, when spun down. I tried to run a movie from it to see if it would spin back up, but it seemed to struggle and the errors increased from 5 to 37. I have run a self-test and it is fine. Would restoring flash from backup do the trick?

The NIC disables when I start the VM Manager. Is there a way to disable autostart VMs from somewhere in unraid without starting VM Manager?

Hi, so the insertion of the GPU didn't go to plan, so tried to put back in the 2.5 NIC and put everything back the way it was, but now when I start the array the 2.5 NIC turns off. No lights nothing. Even the onboard NIC wont work. Not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, hope you are well. I have a 2.5gb NIC card in my server taking a PCIe slot. I want to remove this to put a GPU in and just use the onboard NIC. Is there anything special I need to do in Unraid to make this smooth? Thanks

Thanks, I have checked and the power supply idle control is on Typical Current Idle. Will keep an eye on the server.

Hi yeah, the BIOS is on the latest and I have adjusted the Power Supply to the recommended. Sorry is it ok to disable C-States?

Hey thanks for that, the issue has been going on for a while when I had a Intel I7 setup. The server will lockup for about 1-2 mins, but seems to carry on working in the background, but I cannot access the GUI via the ip address or ping the server. Just to cover all bases, I have checked, I only seem to have C-States not just C6 do I need to disable all C-States? Thanks

Hi all, hope you are well. For a while I have been having issues, where Unraid would hang, and I could not access the GUI or ping the Unraid server, but after around 2 mins it would come back up. I was running older hardware, so decided to upgrade. Went with a Ryzen CPU, and 2.5G NIC. All seemed to be happy, but I am still getting the occasional hang. I am investigating outside influences, but I was wondering if somebody would be able to look at my diagnostics and see if I have missed anything? I have looked through, but nothing jumped out. Hey all, Hope you are well. I am looking to upgrade my i7-2600 Unraid server to a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF, motherboard (of course) the whole lot. Are there any gotcha's I need to watch out for when switching to the AMD from the Intel, any settings in the BIOS etc? Thanks.

I currently have 32GB DDR3 RAM in my main server and a I7-2600, running a load of dockers, a linuxmint VM and a Windows 10 VM. I have some spare hardware so going to build a backup server with 16GB RAM and a Xeon E3-1220.

Hi all, I am new to unraid and currently setting up my dockers. So far have Shinobi, Calibre, Calibre-web and LazyLibrarian setup. I am only using LazyLibrarian to scan the ebooks, but I also have a large audiobook collection that I would like to add. I have setup the audiobooks library folder as: /downloads/audiobooks The /downloads folder in the LL docker setup is the same one. I add audiobooks to the folder and do a library scan, but nothing gets added. This is the logs. Any ideas? Thanks
