I think I have encountered an issue with S3 sleep and UD. Context: I have a script that runs on a remote esxi server that mounts a share via NFS and then runs a backup procedure The script does quite a bit of error checking and retries infinitely when it encounters an error Since updating to 7.0 the script fails after S3 sleep has occurred with permission denied. Only way to make it work again is to go under UD settings and change the share to public, and then to private again.

I just wanted to say thanks for the sleep plugin, we are having sever blackouts in my country, I have a power station, but not big enough to sustain my server, so I wanted some way to shut it down gracefully. With this plugin I can monitor my smart lights to check if they are up, if they are not I can initiate a shutdown. Thanks a lot!. I'm using actual shutdown instead of S3 because it boots fast enough for it not to be an issue. Now I have to figure a way to turn it back on when power is back. Time to get one of those RPIs working I guess.

I removed the settings from the syslinux lines, and re-enabled it and now it no longer happens weird

Hi First of all, pinning is working fine, it's just the page that is bugged... whenever I browse CPUset this mesage pops up And it will never go away until I reboot, just an annoyance but I wonder what´s going on.

I have noticed this with this plugin and the VM backup plugin It seems both download something when installing? my unraid has a VM for my firewall and until after everything starts there is no connection. That does the trick for me

Hello Is there any way to pause generation of the integrity data? If not, could it be in the future, also a way to pause verification tasks. I did achieve a pause when I needed using killall with the STOP signal.

Hey, thanks for your response At the moment the client (initiator) is off, and I'm still getting the spam, so it can't be the initiator... I'm getting these messages every minute. The initiator name in the message is the random initiator name that was created at some point when I was still figuring out how to make iscsi work. s4-unraid-diagnostics-20240214-1007.zip

kswapd0 / kcompactd0 using a ton of CPU on a system without swap
This is so annoying, the only way I have managed to avoid kcompactd0 from kicking in and messing things up is at 01:00 a, I do echo never > /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/defrag sysctl -w vm.compaction_proactiveness=0 sysctl -w vm.extfrag_threshold=1000 Then at 00:00 I do sysctl -w vm.compaction_proactiveness=20 sysctl -w vm.extfrag_threshold=500 echo always > /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/defrag sysctl -w vm.compact_memory=1 Now instead of kcompactd0 I get khugepaged going overboard for a while every 30 minutes or so but it's definitely not as annoying as kcompactd0 hoarding one CPU for 10 minutes Guess I'll need to start over with my seup, I probably installed something the screwed something up

Yeah that's the case for me too... So weird then, I don't know why kcompactd0 is pegging one core every few minutes when I have so much ram free

Yeah.. I'm thinking the plugin may alter some sysctls, because I was able to stop this behavior by setting these flags: sysctl -w vm.swappiness=0 sysctl -w vm.compaction_proactiveness=0 sysctl -w vm.extfrag_threshold=1000 Swappiness only didn't stop it, but after the other two it did
