  1. Sorry, I missed the part where you precleared the drives, so there are no partitions, to make sure everything is wiped run blkdiscard /dev/sdX on all three, then add them to the array and post new diags if it still complains.
  2. Formatted with type 1 protection You need to remove that, see below for more info: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/93432-parity-disk-read-errors/?do=findComment&comment=864078
  3. Pretty sure the mover now supports sparse files, so files like vdisks and docker image are "re-sparsified".
  4. Also note that if you get one a day or so it's not ideal but not a big deal, constant errors are more of a problem since they will impact performance.
  5. Yes, most likely the backplane. No, RAM won't cause UDMA_CRC errors, they are a communication problem, can only be the controller, cable/connection or the disks, disks is very rare.
  6. They are in a pool, see below, it's the same procedure, when it says to assign the devices to the same pool assign them to the pool you want to have the current data once this is done. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/121365-my-appdata-system-and-domains-are-on-de-wrong-cache/?do=findComment&comment=1109614
  7. You can enable the syslog server and then post that after a crash to see if there's anything logged, but if it's a hardware issue there probably won't be.
  8. If it's happening with multiple disks, and since and understand the cables were replaced number one suspect would be the backplane, after that the controller itself, not the firmware, AFAIK that firmware has no known issues, and it's same I'm using, though if it it was the controller I would expect errors in all disks.
  9. That's the theoretical max, actual max is around 3400MB/s, should be similar to the 9300-8i in that situation, still more than enough for 8 HDDs. Yes, just keep in mind that those slots go through the DMI, together with the onboard SATA ports/most M.2 slots, so bandwidth is shared, unlike the x16 CPU slot and M.2 slot 1 that go directly to the CPU, but since DMI for Z690 is PCIe 4.0 x8 it should be fine for all you need.
  10. They probably are, please post the diagnostics.
  11. Possibly existing SSDs were formatted with the old partition layout, post the output of: fdisk -l /dev/sdX for both array devices.
  12. Like mentioned if the boot freezes in safe mode you likely have some hardware issue, would need to be onsite to be able to help, also I frequent the forum mostly when at work and time permits, can't really be doing one on one sessions with teamviwer or similar since I can't allot time for that.
  13. Was this a new installation or you used the old config? If it wasn't a new installation try booting with one, using a trial key, and again if safe mode or a new trial flash drive freezes you have some hardware issue, can't really help remotely.
  14. Seems unnecessary to me, though if you rebuild to a spare is always safer, since you still have the old disk intact if something goes wrong.
  15. Wasn't that the GUI boot? If safe boot freezes you have some serious issue, or a bad flash drive.
  16. Cache pool dying should have nothing to do with GUI access, start by disabling SSL, edit config/ident.cfg on the flash drive and change USE_SSL from "auto" to "no", then reboot, see if you can access the GUI using the IP address.
  17. Try btrfs restore, or upgrade to v6.10 since there is a new rescue=all option like mentioned in the link that might work for ro mount, and you just need to do it for one of the devices, it's all the same pool, if one doesn't work the others also won't.
  18. Doubt that very much, I remember seeing before some Mellanox MACs being detected twice, 99.99% it's not an Unraid problem, basically confirmed by you having the same issue with v6.9.2, there are many users using those NICs with Unraid.
  19. Look for a firmware update, it's not a general issue, I have several of those and they are working fine, e.g.: [15b3:1003] 01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Mellanox Technologies MT27500 Family [ConnectX-3]
  20. Diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened, disk looks healthy so I would recommend replacing/swapping cables to rule those out then rebuild on top. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Rebuilding_a_drive_onto_itself
