  1. With Unraid each disk is an independent filesystem, so if the share spans multiple disks it will need to be snapshoted for each disk, you can do that easily with a script.
  2. Controller is being detected correctly, though it is in raid mode, but no disks are detected, like no disks are connected, check if they are detected by the controller bios, if they aren't' it also won't be detected by Unraid, you should also flash it to IT mode with latest firmware.
  3. With these LSI "lite" raid controllers it usually works the same, LSI MegaRAID controllers like for example 9260-8i can be different, since they use a different driver because they are more advanced raid controllers.
  4. Disks should be detected even in raid mode, please post diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics, might be some clues there.
  5. SFP+ optics aren't always compatible with all devices, I can tell you for example that the Avago AFBR-700SDZ-QL transceiver works well with both the ConnectX-2 and X-3, but no idea if they work with the Mikrotik switch.
  6. Changing number of slots wouldn't make any difference for this, so most likely unrelated. You should recreate it, it's easy.
  7. Yep. P.S. if the other disk is already failing, with read errors/pending sectors, don't enable turbo write, it will take longer but only parity and the disk being removed will be accessed.
  8. I believe the script isn't working very well with current Unraid, if you want to do that and are semi-comfortable with the console you can do it manually: https://forums.lime-technology.com/topic/61614-shrink-array-question/?tab=comments#comment-606335
  9. Settings -> VM Manager Make sure advanced view is enable (top right)
  10. It's used by a USB controller, should be fine to ignore.
  11. Try in safe mode and/or unisnstall all plugins you don't really need, even if just temporarily, also stop all dockers you can, maybe you can find the culprit, I believe there are or were one or two dockers with memory leaks.
  12. It does. That's expected since the errors are being correct so Memtest doesn't detect anything, DIMM still needs to be replaced, though it's unrelated to your current problems, if there is an uncorrectable error the server will halt.
  13. Use it on the drive that was formatted.
  14. It has been used successfully before by other Unraid users.
  15. The other devices were initially detected but then stopped responding and were dropped after several attemps, if I had to guess it looks like some compatibility problem between those Firecuda drives and the LSI (or the Dell and the LSI but that seems not so likely since the other model disk and SSD work).
  16. The OP had a cable problem, likely not the same as you, please post the diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics
  17. Cheapest would be something like this, using an existing ATX case: You can get an used Intel SAS2 expander for around $60.
  18. Check that cache use is still set to "yes" for that share, you can also try toggling it.
  19. It's on the flash drive, mounted at /boot so all are under: /boot/config/shares
  20. Likely the same reason as most or all your shares exist with capital an no capital first letter, no idea how that happened though.
