  1. What would something like that cost per instance? Some people already gripe about the cost of Unraid, so any realistic option must be rather low cost.
  2. For multiple reasons it's preferred to have the stick inside the case, typically using motherboard header adapters if the motherboard doesn't have internal USB headers. Many server boards have native USB connectors on the motherboard inside the case.
  3. Keep in mind "format" just writes a new blank table of contents, the files on the drive are still there and readable with recovery software.
  4. You could compare the original disk10 to the repaired version to see if there is less corruption there.
  5. Make sure you remove and replace ALL the power cables. Modular power supplies can have cables that look identical but are deadly to equipment if used with the wrong PSU box.
  6. It seems you got EXTREMELY lucky. Most of the time when someone posts with a similar situation, it's to figure out why all of their drives aren't recognized any more, because they didn't realize modular cables are seldom interchangeable, Many times it will attempt to power up and blow the circuit boards out on all the attached drives.
  7. Now type the letters df and enter. My suspicion is that the USB isn't being detected properly for some reason. How exactly did you prepare the flash drive, and what model is it?
  8. How do you handle the HUGE number of people with auto updating for their containers? (I'm not one of those BTW, I make sure the forums aren't buzzing with issues about a specific container before I hit update)
  9. apctest works to reset the date on most, and is included in Unraid https://apcupsd-users.narkive.com/ndUBrLfk/how-do-i-reset-my-battery-s-date-like-in-power-chute
  10. Try booting in normal instead of GUI mode, see what comes up on screen.
  11. Are you adding a drive slot, or are you replacing an existing drive? Do you expect the drive to have data on it when you are done? Your description is unclear. Perhaps a screenshot of the main GUI and diagnostics would help explain what you are trying to accomplish.
  12. Normal. Until it's done rebuilding, you are not protected from another failure.
  13. It rebuilds and expands to fit the new drive.
  14. That would be my recommendation. The data will still remain on the removed drives until you add them back in, so that's pretty safe.
  15. post the docker run command for sonarr, delugevpn, and sabnzbd. Be sure to redact passwords if they show up.
  16. Their software is windows only, the software options for linux that may support it are third party, not supported by APC. http://www.apcupsd.org/ (built in to Unraid) https://networkupstools.org/ (available as a plugin for Unraid)
  17. remove that one too. The containers are, the templates are stored on the flash. If you reinstall the container with an old template, or pull a new template and don't modify it for your layout that would explain things.
  18. One of your currently running containers is already using port 8989
  19. Different type of encryption. Windows does file by file, you can choose to encrypt just one file. Unraid (linux LUKS) encrypts the whole drive. Not possible to do in place encryption without significant risk to all the data on the drive. https://securedmind.com/post/how-to-encrypt-a-disk-in-place-with-luks/
  20. Physical hardware or firmware changes can rearrange bus assignment numbers. You probably had something at that bus number passed through, then the HBA was added and started using that number.
  21. Can you login as root on the local console?
  22. Please expand on this. Where and what exactly is your Unraid running on currently?
  23. Can you recreate in safe mode? There are so many plugins and modifications it's tough to say whether this is Unraid or one of the modifications causing it.
