Been a while since I had to set up DelugeVPN as up till now it just worked. But short story I have a few errors that puzzle me. Is this something I should be concerned about and if so is there a fix?

When I try and start Proftpd it keeps coming back with an error on the bottom of the screen as seen in the pic. Any ideas what im doing wrong? Hoping its a easy fix as im not overly smart when it comes to using telnet.

More than likely the same issue that I had with the exact same card, it may not work on some motherboards, it wouldn't work on my gigabyte board but it would work on my Asus board. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just want to ask a quick question in regards the new port change for pia. What is likely to happen or fail should I say if I go back to using port 1194? My poor CPU is maxing out at 99% with the new encryption.

I just woke up and had a thought. To me it looks like The line of code in that file is asking for a Time format that is different to the time format The system is getting. So is there a extra parameter I can set to change the format? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But at least its something. Looks like a couchpotato problem, not an unraid docker problem. https://github.com/CouchPotato/CouchPotatoServer/issues/5776 Thanks for the link, yep i agree this looks like a bug in CP, looks like it got fixed in master, but as they havent released in the last 6 months or more the bug fix isnt in the latest stable release, which is a bit crap. not much i can do guys, you can go ahead and patch it yourself if you know how to use a python ide or use notepad++. Im happy to fix it myself if you can point me in the right direction on how to access the file needed. Correct me if Im wrong but isnt that file part of the image? HEHE Scrap that, I just did a little research on how I would do this, turns out I would need more linux command line knowledge than I have to even start this. Ill just put CP on the back burns till they update the server.

Looks like this is one for binhex to do as I get the feeling the file that needs to be changed is in a file that gets pulled from the repository.

Silly question for those that are smarter than me on all things relating to linux. The dir path that the guy gives is not part of the appdata that gets created, so I would assume it is part of the image. So how does one explore the image? Edit : Good find btw.

Hi, I haven't checked the code yet but no I don't think it's included. Can I ask why you need unrar support, keeping in mind CP only downloads metadata not content? I would advise getting the downloader to do the unpacking and using CP to do the renaming and moving that's the normal use. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk I use your delugevpn to download and to date have had rather mixed results with the third party plugin you need to run to get it to extract and feel that having the unrar binaries included incp would be a better option. But im more than happy to try try again. fair enough, i didnt realise the plugin was that flaky, tbh i dont download a lot of compressed/split media so i dont really use unrar/unzip too often with deluge. ok no probs i can include unrar, might as well include unzip whilst im at it too, watch out for a new update shortly. You the man. Expect a donation coming your way soon.

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
Bought a IBM ServeRAID M1015 card a little while ago and found myself actually needing to use it so went through the flashing process. What follows is just as much for my records as it is for anyone else who comes across the same problem. I used the P11 zip that the OP supplied. First thing I noticed was step 1,2 and 3 I could perform under DOS however step 5 came back with a error. Short story is I needed to do step 5 and 6 under uefi shell. The process for setting up the usb thumb drive in the read me doesnt take into account that you may need to boot into the drive via uefi so I have supplied the boot file needed in the zip. Just copy and paste the file named EFI onto your thumb drive and then for whatever reason your not able to boot into efi shell that will do the trick. Next problem I had is the sas2flash file on your thumb drive is not compatible in uefi so I ended up stealing the efi file I needed from a crossflash I did for a Dell Perc H310. So I have included the file needed to complete step 5 and 6 in the same zip. File is named sas2flash.efi, just dump that into the thumb drive. I used the command . Side note : adding the -b mptsas2.rom to the end as described in the 5it.bat file for some reason didnt work. I am going to go out on a limb here and say the mptsas2.rom just adds the initializing process that you normally see when booting up. In any case I simply didnt use that command and the card works find. Final step would be to run the command where X= your address found in adapter.txt. Proof of success is in the diskspeed.html Have also supplied the original SBR as OP requested. Link to files https://www.mediafire.com/?3i6evx4kwyje3ie diskspeed.zip

@binhex First up love the work on ALL the dockers you create. Can you please tell me, does you version of CP have the unrar binaries included in the docker? If the answer is no how hard would it be to add the binaries?

Dockers use their own self contained OS's, they don't interact with the host OS like you are implying. see here. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40937.msg387520#msg387520 If your docker needs access to a particular program, it needs to be installed inside the docker container, typically by docker exec into the container and installing from there. Installing the binary in unraid isn't going to help. And if you install it yourself inside the docker, you will have to do it again each time you update the docker. Maybe you could get the author of the docker to include it for you. Although you probably could pass through the location as a new volume mapping, and then point CP to that location. Thats what I was thinking. However that will only help if I know where the binary's download and install from the NerdPack.

Sorry to be a pain but I have a quick question for someone. I have unrar downloaded and installed (Thanks for the NerdPack GUI btw). I have a docker that needs access to the unrar binary. Am I to assume it will be located in /usr/sbin/unrar ?

I guess easy answer would be if your using a private tracker you will see the ip address of the torrent your downloading.

How much RAM do you have installed in your unRAID server?
I am currently using 16GB but was planning on upgrading to 32GB, but that was only due to the fact that I was/am using a Windows VM to manage my downloads. But since I have started to explore dockers more and more and may move away from the need to run a VM all together I am just stick with 16GB. These dockers run on the smell of a oily rag so to speak.
