I believe redis or MariaDB provide quicker downloads of large files or photos to your local NextCloud app. Letsencrypt provides some reverse proxy security. However, I stripped out both just to get to the latest upgrade but, I had to delete the Nextcloud folder in the appdata directory first to resolve my previous issue. I feel like a dumbass but, I managed to upgrade my Nextcloud! I’ll add the redis and Letsencrypt soon.

I know that Letsencrypt is a prerequisite but, is it required? Just trying to get things working without the reverse proxy first.

What version were you before when Nextcloud was working?

I still have not resolved this. I am running UnRAID 6.8.0. I’ve removed and re-installed the Nextcloud docker. I have installed the Letsencrypt docker but, it’s not running. Does it need to be running for the Nextcloud webserver to work? Which log is best to review to troubleshoot?

Are you saying there is an SQL client built into the Shell part of the _Console? Or, would I use the Bash part of the _Console to invoke a third party SQL client?

Noob here: 1.) What commands can be used in the Shell version of the _Console? 2.) After creating a new database or two, what is the best way to check if they were created correctly? Is there a SHOW ALL DATABASES command or something or a way to look at the properties of the databases?

I get the following message when trying to open the Nextcloud Web GUI. The server log only shows that the Nextcloud docker loaded successfully. I have Mariadb installed and set up but, I don't think the Nextcloud Web GUI is necessarily dependent on that.

I have the same issue and similar config; only my network threshold is set at 100 kb/s. I am also looking for a log as to what is preventing my UnRaid server from entering Sleep mode.

I'm not sure what version of Apache-PHP I need. I am trying to set up a testing server for Adobe Dreamweaver CS6. The DW guide indicates that I need a web server like Apache, something to handle the PHP code, and a database app like MySQL. Do I need Apache-PHP or Apache-PHP Adminer? Or, should I install separate Dockers (Apache, MySQL, and some Docker that does PHP)?

Oddly enough, things seem to be okay now....without having to do a thing. Perhaps it was an ISP issue or the app feed and Github server or the access to them were down. I'm not sure where tyty123 is located but, I am located in NC and use Spectrum. All other Internet access seemed to be unaffected at the time. Oh well.

My Apps screen fails to load and I see only script. The beginning of the error reads Download of appfeed failed. And then.... Community Applications requires your server to have internet access. The most common cause of this failure is a failure to resolve DNS addresses. You can try and reset your modem and router to fix this issue, or set static DNS addresses (Settings - Network Settings) of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and try again.

I think a great feature to add would be to reboot the CM. A reboot typically solves 99% of my slow ISP problems.

Is there a plugin or docker that can perform a test that puts the same stresses on a drive like transcoding to uncover these types of issues?

Its related to Plex because Plex is hammering the cache drive during transcoding. And that hammering increases both bandwidth transferred and power consumed which is going to aggravate any small flaws in connectors / splitters / etc. I have a particular drive here that only likes being in a certain bay of the 12 bay hotswap case. Any other bay and all the little manufacturing tolerances are just out enough for that drive to give the same errors under load. All the other drives work perfectly everywhere... With 32GB of RAM, it seems like the transcoding task would be better suited there. Is there a way to use RAM for cache instead of the SSDs? I'll try the easy route first and get new SATA cables but, I like my idea too.

I did read his answer but, oddly enough, no errors the past two days. Perhaps the SATA cable healed itself......yea right. I am not sure why this symptom seems to be exclusive to watching a movie via Plex. I'll see if I can reproduce the error and post again.

I'm going to guess "No" to that one. Could it be from the the two SSDs being in RAID 1? Perhaps I'll test and remove one of the SSDs and then try and watch a movie again. Why don't I have these same errors without watching a movie? Seems like they would show up in the System Log somewhere on some other day?

Could it be from the drive trying to go to sleep mode?

I am trying to figure out a BTRFS error I get while watching a movie via Plex. I have two 250GB SSDs that are mirrored. In the syslog, the trouble seems to start today, Jan 22 @ 13:57:51. Any ideas? beall-diagnostics-20170122-1408.zip

I rebooted the server several times before but, for some reason, a reboot just now fixed my Save issue....all is well!

I set up NZBGet some time ago on one news server. Now, I am trying to add another and when I try to save, I get the following "Could not save configuration in /config/nzbget.conf.........Please check file permissions". I've checked permissions, and all "appdata" shares show as Public. However, this brings me to another question! I seem to have two "appdata" folders. I have one at /mnt/cache/appdata and another at /mnt/user/appdata. The latter is a user share and is currently configured to be Cache-Only. Previously, I had it set to the rotating harddrive array. Which is the best method for the appdata folder....direct cache or the user cache?

Does OpenVPN-AS allow use of a proxy server like PrivateInternetAccess?

ok...had ProFTPd Plugin installed and then I removed it. When that happened, the built in FTP Server showed back up and the FTP Settings button worked. Is it best to keep ProFTPd and keep it disabled when not in use?

The link posted within the plugin works for me under 6.3 -rc1, and 6.2.1 (and was originally tested with 6.1.9 and 6.2 b/rc) All it does is takes you to Settings / FTP Settings The reason for the warning is that (unless the behaviour has been changed) is that if FTP was disabled, it will automatically get re-enabled after you reboot the system. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=48975.0 I also have version 6.2.1. Is the UnRAID built-in FTP server a Plugin. I may have already deleted it (can't remember) and the FTP Settings button may be trying to access a page of a Plugin that is no longer installed.

I show no Errors using the Fix Common Problems Plugin but, a Warning indicates that I still have users defined for the built in FTP server that I have disabled. When I click on the "FTP Settings" button, I get a blank screen.
