  1. I moved the unraid flash drive to a USB port, and also switch my USB A to C portable monitor cable from a USB 2.0 port to a USB 3 (was possibly trying to pull too much power and causing USB instability issues on my motherboard). Now everything is working properly.
  2. More info - my array is taking forever to start, looks like there's USB issues
  3. Further to this, when I stop the array now TWO drives are missing, both are NVME I think. It's weird as they only show as missing when I stop the array. They seem to start fine with unraid and don't display any issues until I stop the array.
  4. I think I've added the line correctly now and have rebooted.. My shares still aren't showing. Having docker issues as well which I'm sure is related. New diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20250919-1138.zip
  5. I did that today and rebooted, now my dockers won't start and my shares are not showing. I removed the lines (that I had added) and rebooted again, still having massive issues. I think the issue i'm experiencing now is a coincidence and unrelated to the lines that I added, but I could be wrong. I've attached new diagnostics, can someone please review? tower-diagnostics-20250918-2039.zip Fix common problems shows my cache as read only or full...it's not full though. Have >500GB free.
  6. Hi all, The other day Plex wasn't working and I discovered that my Cache drive (which stores my docker image) was no longer detected by unraid, it had disconnected. Rebooting unraid fixed it, but the issue occurred again today. I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue, but I thought before buying another 1TB drive I should post my diagnostics here. Is anyone able t take a look please and see if there's any useful info in there? I ran a short smart diagnostics on the drive and it completed without error as far as I can see. Thanks tower-diagnostics-20250903-2029.zip
  7. I had the same issue as you. Fixed by changing the repository to: linuxserver/qbittorrent:5.0.3-libtorrentv1
  8. Hi all, I'm trying to enable Tailscale on my Plex docker, and following the instructions I found below. 1. Edit Plex container and in template will see a new tailscale toggle. Enable it. 2. Tailscale hostname: set name eg Plex 3. Tailscale serve: set to funnel 4. Click on update container. 5. On Plex container click on logs 6. There will be a tailscale link to connect to your tailscale account. Click on it and link. 7. In tailscale copy the domain url of the Plex machine. Eg plex.bread.ts.net and put into note pad Plex server/account settings: 1. Go to server settings (spanner top right corner) 2. Go to remote access tab and disable 3. Go to network tab and scroll down to bottom 4. Under Custom server access URLS, type your domain url in here. Make sure to put https:// in front of your domain. Eg. [https://plex.bread.ts.net](https://plex.bread.ts.net) 5. Press save 6. Restart Plex container 7. Wait for 30 seconds for things to sync and it should be working. However as soon as I enable Tailscale I lose access to the UI of Plex. If I disable it then I regain access. Screenshot of docker below. I have tried setting the network type to bridge mode and that doesn't work either. Any idea what's going on? When I view the logs for Plex there's no errors. Tailscale is installed and the last line says that the funnel is being enabled.
  9. Just to add, the docker started fine initially and operated fine for at least 15mins. When it around 7% through doing a parity check it failed.
  10. Hi guys, Am having issue with my server. Found that it had crashed. Would not run until I replaced the GPU. Now docker is not starting. Please see attached logs. Am getting lots of these errors. Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device loop2: state EA): bdev /dev/loop2 errs: wr 13, rd 665, flush 0, corrupt 0, gen 0 Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device nvme0n1p1: state EA): bdev /dev/nvme0n1p1 errs: wr 25, rd 1088, flush 0, corrupt 0, gen 0 Any help would be appreciated. 11. Hi all, Having trouble getting Frigate running on docker in unRAID. When I log in into the web UI, all I get is the frigate logo in the top left and a spinning blue icon in the middle. It never loads. I assume the appdata config/frigate directory should not be empty? The 'frigate' folder is created but there is nothing inside it. I get permission errors when trying to create folders/files while the docker image is running. I can't see the logs as the log window auto closes after like half a second. I have had no issues with any of my other containers. I've deleted the docker image and manually created the frigate folder, and created the subfolder and frigate.yaml file (with some default code), but the same issue occurs. Any ideas or am I missing something obvious?
  12. In the last week or so I've noticed that my unassigned devices shares do not show at all in unRAID, so I can't access them over my Windows network. My other shares are fine. I.e the unassigned devices share "SSDTorrents" Does not show at all here I have attached diagnostics. I have tried removing the share and readding it. Hasn't helped. Any ideas? Cheers tower-diagnostics-20220622-2216.zip
  13. Hi all, I'm moving location shortly and will be using Starlink internet. I would like to continue to have remote access to my Unraid server for Plex and security camera access. However, with Starlink using CGNAT there is no option to get a static IP, so I cannot port forward access to my Unraid server. I am in the process of setting up a VPN on a VPS hosted via Oracle (the free tier). I will then reverse proxy in to access various services. However I'm not 100% on the option that I need to configure in Wireguard on Unraid to have a point to point connection to my VPN, so I don't need to open any ports. Is it server to server? I don't want to expose my entire network, only certain internal services running on Unraid, or one of the VMs running on it.
  14. OK so I downloaded the latest qFlood version and it works fine. Something about the latest linuxserver version appears to craps its pants for me. Is there any way to roll back on the linuxserver version? I tried some options as per: https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/qbittorrent but they didn't work, so I probably did it wrong. For example, I tried lscr.io/linuxserver/qbittorrent:12.11.20 with no luck.
  15. I am having serious problems with qBittorrent on unraid, it's been happening for approx the last week. I need help to figure out what's going on. Whenever I download something several of my 3900X CPU cores start maxing out, and the downloads run very slowly. I have gigabit internet and they are downloading at maybe a total of 1MB/s. It's like there's disk throttling issues or something, as if I watch in the bottom to see the download rate it jumps up to 1 or 2MB/s, then after a second drops down to almost zero, then it jumps up again. No idea why the CPU is being hit so hard. As soon as I stop the qbittorrent docker my cores all drop down to practically 0%. All torrents are downloading to an SSD specifically for torrents and nothing else. Only half of the SSD is full. I have rebooted the server, renamed the qbittorrent config folder to start fresh, as well as delete the image and download/set it up again. Nothing obvious shows in the logs.
  16. Hi, I've been having an issue for the last few weeks, where just on one particular drive, I'm getting temperature warnings even though the threshold is set to zero. This has persisted after rebooting the server. I've also tried setting the value > 60c which didn't help. Any ideas about what could be causing this? Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20220104-2215.zip
  17. Hi, is the AX860i supported? I'm looking at purchasing it. I don't know how to integrate 'cpsumoncli' with this plugin (if that's what I need to do)? Thanks
  18. Can anyone else clarify if this is expected behaviour?
  19. I'm assuming this is maybe expected behaviour, but the session is not stored at all. Is there anyway to work around that? I.e. I open a directory through the vscode tab, maybe run a npm script and open a few files. If I then close that browser tab and open it back up all the layout/ terminal scripts are lost/no longer running. I want it so that I can keep the session regardless if I close the tab, or open the vscode tab window on another PC.
  20. Thanks very much, that sorted it.
  21. I've also tried that method but couldn't get it to work so I must be doing something wrong. Here's my code-server environment variable: Yet I still can't get node to run -
  22. Apologies for the noob question, I can't get the script to work. I'm trying to install nodejs. Can anybody see what I'm doing wrong from the logs below? [cont-init.d] 99-custom-scripts: executing... [custom-init] files found in /config/custom-cont-init.d executing [custom-init] apt-get update && apt-get install -y nodejs: executing... /bin/bash: /config/custom-cont-init.d/apt-get: No such file or directory [custom-init] apt-get update && apt-get install -y nodejs: exited 127 [cont-init.d] 99-custom-scripts: exited 0. [cont-init.d] done.
  23. Terrible update, can we roll back?
  24. Should we not be enabling this line? #docker exec $DOCKER_NAME dailyLog.sh # note: this is outdated > /dev/null If so, how do we get the stats to stay and not be wiped each day?
