  1. You can do this by modifying your go script and restarting your server. Change /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & to (replace 8088 with whatever port you like) /usr/local/sbin/emhttp -p 8088 &
  2. bjp999, i was reviewing the steps you posted on the first page and noticed an error. There is a / missing between /mnt and [dest] in the rsync command. Just thought i'd point it out.
  3. I've had success setting up both ubuntu and mint VMs using teamviewer.
  4. After re-reading the Plex Home documentation . If you don't have a Plex Home setup (multiple users) this doesn't appear to apply. I don't have a way to test this, so i can't be 100% sure. In the sickbeard config are you referencing plex via the IP address of your unraid server?
  5. The issue is related to the Plex Home changes that were implemented several months ago. There are no unauthorized connections allowed to your plex server anymore. Sickbeard has not been patched to support this. If you like sickbeard, i believe sickrage (a fork of sickbeard) contains this functionality. The other alternative is Sonarr, which is what i moved to and enjoy.
  6. I converted my sonarr and couchpotato containers over to these for the auto-update functionalities. Smooth and painless transition, thanks for creating these!
  7. I believe the plugin uses the notification system included with v6. As long as email notifications are setup correctly for your system, you shouldn't have any issues.
  8. Plugin is working great for me as well. Cleared a 3TB and 2 cycles on a 1TB using the fast post read option as well. The email and pushbullet notifications are an awesome feature!
  9. Yep i ran into the same issue earlier today. Don't forget to click on the initial cache drive entry and run the balance command.

    Multiple CPU's

The basic benchmark used for transcoding performance in Plex is a Passmark CPU Mark of 2,000 for each 1080p stream. You can lookup processors here to see what each CPU is capable of http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php.
  11. +1 Unraid 6 defaults array disks to XFS and cache disks to BTRFS. I would follow this approach when building out a new server.
  12. I've completely cut the cord for several years. Most popular shows are available within an hour after airing. I have SABnzbd scheduled to only download after 3AM EST and everything is usually available by then. As for Usenet providers i use SuperNews unlimited & a block account at Tweaknews EU. The tweaknews block helps a lot with completing older downloads.
  13. A mixture of drives is supported.
  14. I'm still on v5 with sab and sonarr. I read on reddit the other week that sonarr dev's recommended not using drone factory(http://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/comments/38vvap/automatically_triggering_sonarr_to_drone_folder/cry958v). I've since disabled drone factory and sonarr is processing everything normally.
  15. I bought one of these for my server - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IB6I43K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00. I have 2x256GB SSDs for a cache pool when i complete my unraid v6 upgrade.
  16. Per http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33822.msg347696#msg347696 - it is a custom script that scrapes the page for the latest version.
  17. You can use Midnight Commander for this. From the unraid console you can access it by typing "mc" (no quotes). The tab key allows you to switch between the left pane and the right pane, you would put the source directory on the left and the destination directory on the right. To mark/unmark items to be moved use the insert key. Once you have all the files selected, the Move command is F6.
  18. I've had this happen before with plex, prior to switching to the PhAzE plugin. Following the directions here should get you sorted.
  19. I run Roku 3's on my two main tv locations that connect to my PlexMediaServer hosted on unraid. I found the Roku's to offer the best mix of application types (online streaming/local playback/twitch.tv support) for the best price.
  20. I am not aware if this will continue to work or not. I typically view adding anything to the go script as a "last resort". Both Dynamix and Unmenu support scheduled monthly parity checks. I would look at using one of those.
  21. For a quick fix, depending on browser you could use dejaclick (Firefox) to create abookmark that records a script and then allows playback.
  22. I can see doing it either way honestly, are you more interested in running apps or having the faster write speeds? I'd pick the 320gb drive if you are just using the cache drive to run apps, as that opens up the use of the 1tb drive as an additional storage drive in your array. I'd pick the 1tb drive, if your main concern is speed. I use a 1TB drive as my cache because its just what i had laying around.
  23. I've now configured couchpotato v2 and it's metadata generation is now customizable enough to eliminate EMM . +1 for now having a completely automated solution :-)
  24. Wish the boxee box did better scrapping. Their licensed dB has too many errors. One error can be too much for me, so I ended up using EMM. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using Tapatalk 2 My setup was created exlcusively to handle the boxee's terrible handling of scraping information. Since Boxee is loosely based on XBMC this also works well for my ATV2 running xbmc. Now if only boxee would update their terrible scan process. TV TV Show Name - Each TV Show contains a tvshow.nfo file used for series summary info Season Folder (0-9) - Any special episodes go under season 0, this correlates with how the tvdb shows them. Each episode contains three files (video file, nfo, and tbn) in the below format: ex) Friends.S01E01.The.Pilot.mkv Friends.S01E01.The.Pilot.tbn Friends.S01E01.The.Pilot.nfo Movies Movie Folder (ie. American.Reunion.2012) Each folder contains 3 files in the below format American.Reunion.2012.mkv American.Reunion.2012.nfo American.Reunion.2012.tbn Sickbeard handles all of the moving and renaming automatically to this format as well as the nfo and tbn file generation. Couchpotato does the folder and file operations, but I have to use ember media manager to handle the nfo and tbn generation. I haven't tried couchpotato v2 yet, so I hope it has improved (i'll be trying it this weekend). I usually only add movies weekly so, it's easy enough to take 5 minutes and run EMM to update anything new.
  25. I recently RMAed a 5400RPM Hitachi and received a 7200RPM
