  1. Is it a modular psu? Then I would contact Seasonic customer service and ask them to send you a couple of sata power cables. You can replace a molex cable with it I think. I got them for my x-760 free of charge.
  2. Hi, Does it matter to which SFF 8087 connectors in the Intel RES2CV360 an HBA is attached?
  3. While there are 5 regular disks and one ARC 1200 RAID Volume on my server, only 4 disks, disk 2,3,4 and cache get benched. I attach diagnostics. 4. Sorry Squid. I jumped to conclusions too soon, I'm afraid. Will figure it out later.
  5. So it is not possible to edit the /config path anymore? Why is that? And why is it still possible on the older install? So. the docker has indeed been changed? Besides I don't have a /complete mapping, I only see a /data mapping. And where are all those keys for?
  6. Is the /config path now somehow hardcoded in this docker? On the docker page it doesn't show up and Host Path 1 seems to be missing. This is when newly setting up this docker on unraid 6.5.1-RC5 I want my finished download to end up in /mnt/user/media/DVD, /mnt/user/media/BluRay, /mnt/user/media/mkv etc. etc. How do I set this up? On a older install of this docker on a server that was updated to unraid 6.5.0 Host Path 1 does show up and the /config path is still editable, why is this changed in the current version of the docker? Or is something else going on?
  7. Hi John, removing the the Sabnzb fixed the install issue for me. I am now on 60% memory utilization. One bigger issue I have is that while the Areca ARC-1200 is detected, the ports and disks connected to it are not seen, and the RAID1 volume is not benched because of that. Previous CLI versions would bench these volumes though.
  8. Removed Sabnzb which was still running as a plugin and hugging all memory. Everything is OK now.
  9. Can the docker image of 20 GB be too small? Or is it physical memory on the server? It only got 4 GB. How can I troubleshoot this?
  10. Tried to install this docker with default settings on the docker page but see this error: Error: failed to register layer: ApplyLayer fork/exec /proc/self/exe: cannot allocate memory stdout: stderr: Should I change any setting or what else can be wrong? This server is running unraid 6.5.1-RC5, probably a compatibility issue. I installed this docker on a server running 6.5.0 without any issue.
  11. Thanks all for this info. I managed to build this docker and set the media path to /mnt/user/Music, which is where my music is located. However the minimwatch icon turns red and I get a message that no content directory is found.
  12. I like to follow your way and forget about dockerizing. Can you explain how you did it? Is the file you downloaded the right Linux build for unraid? Which folders need to be created and what files have to go where? and what command needs to be placed in the go file?
  13. Hi, I try to built a docker from a raw dockerfile send to me by Sparklyballs. Unfortunately I get a warning when building: [WARNING]: Empty continuation line found in: RUN usermod -u 99 nobody && usermod -g 100 nobody && usermod -d /home nobody && chown -R nobody:users /home && apt-get update && apt-get install -y wget && mkdir -p /usr/bin/asset && chmod -R 777 /usr/bin/asset && cd /usr/bin/asset && wget http://www.dbpoweramp.com/install/AssetUPnP-Linux-x64.tar.gz && tar -zxvf *.gz && rm *.gz && apt-get purge --remove -y wget && apt-get autoremove -y && apt-get clean [WARNING]: Empty continuation lines will become errors in a future release. The docker doesn't seem to get build and when running it it shows: docker: Error response from daemon: oci runtime error: container_linux.go:265: s tarting container process caused "exec: \"/usr/bin/asset/bin/AssetUPnP\": stat / usr/bin/asset/bin/AssetUPnP: no such file or directory". Is something wrong with the dockerfile or is it unraid 6.4.0 which I'm currently running? When I try to add the docker on the docker page in unraid I get: root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="Asset-UPNP" --net="host" -e TZ="Europe/Berlin" -e HOST_OS="unRAID" sparklyballs/asset-upnp aa619a608337f4e150e84b2702851aa06650c3facdb282fb12ca34d629b83a5f /usr/bin/docker: Error response from daemon: oci runtime error: container_linux.go:265: starting container process caused "exec: "/usr/bin/asset/bin/AssetUPnP": stat /usr/bin/asset/bin/AssetUPnP: no such file or directory". The command failed.
  14. Looking at the specs on the Asrock site the switch card for using the 2 PCIE slots is mentioned for using Crossfire. Might well be that it is limited to graphics cards only.
  15. Thanks for the headsup. Will look into that plugin. I started the array without parity and stopped it. That way the parity showed as unassigned an I assigned the volume with the new name. I will run a parity check anyway.
  16. Do you type over the name in the Areca BIOS. Can you avoid parity resync that way? Have to do a parity check anyway.
  17. I changed the name to something without # but after booting it still showed as missing. Diagnostics are attached. tower1-diagnostics-20180205-1514.zip
  18. I just don't understand where those long numbers come from. As I recall I just saw ARC-1210-VOL in the BIOS. User SSD is more experienced with Areca controllers, might PM him. Thanks so far.
  19. Thanks johnnie. Didn't know that, so changing it to a name without #, like parity, will suffice. Will try, but hope I don't break RAID0 and can avoid rebuilding parity.
  20. Is it expected behavior that when testing parity it shows 10-100% but the size indication stays at 0%? FYI my parity disk is in fact a RAID0 volume.
  21. I recently created a RAID0 Volume on an Areca 1210 controller which is assigned as parity in slot 0. After building parity without problems I rebooted the server and noticed that the array was not started because parity showed as missing. Reassigning the RAID0 volume fixed this and the array was started without issues and parity shows as valid. This morning the same thing happened after booting the server, the array was not started and parity showed as missing. Again manually assigning the parity fixed it. The Areca controller and RAID0 volume show up in the log but that is as far as my knowledge goes. Can someone tell me what is wrong and possibly ho to fix this? Diagnostics are attached. tower1-diagnostics-20180205-1336.zip
  22. Absolutely! Great! Thanks! That is all I need, hope it works. Will try it out after building parity on my RAID0 volume is complete. What was modified?
  23. Because diskspeed is not available for unraid 6.4.0 are there other ways to check performance of the disks in my array. I am in the process of re-organizing one of my servers and building a RAID0 parity-volume on an ARC 1210 and replacing some slower disks in the array, which are slowing down parity checks for some time now. Or should I go back to unraid 6.3.5 for checking performance alone?
