  3. Hi there, Thanks very much for this! I've created a base repo for you here: https://github.com/unraid/lang-el_GR Once your PR's are merged, they will show up in CA for all when I update the XML template. Please let me know if you have any questions and if I can do anything for you. -Spencer
  4. Thanks for your concern. We will be bringing in all plugin authors well ahead of time in a private release phase to allow ample time for feedback, concerns, help and a smooth transition. The community will always remain a core focus for us. Cc: @ironicbadger
  5. Hey Unraiders, Unraid's been growing behind the scenes, and we wanted the community to be the first to know: we've added two new people to the team, and if you've been around the homelab world for a while, one of them might already look familiar. Alex Kretzschmar Head of Product Marketingaka @ironicbadger around these parts I first discovered Unraid more than a decade ago, drawn to its support for mismatched drive sizes, plugin architecture, power-saving design, approachable user experience, and unusually helpful community. Before long, I was compiling kernels and making Unraid run in places it probably wasn't meant to, contributing to early community experimentation around virtualization, GPU passthrough, and Docker. Docker changed the paradigm, but there was a distinct lack of good documentation around it in those early days, which led me to co-found LinuxServer.io with jonnym0e and lonix, where I focused on establishing conventions and making complex technology easier to understand. Now I've come full circle, bringing more than a decade of experience across open source, self-hosting, developer education, enterprise, networking and technical media back to Unraid. My goal is to make Unraid best in class not only for power users, but for people who simply want their server to just work — the ultimate platform for self-hosters. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, with my wife Catherine, daughter Ella, and our dog Archie (named after my favorite Linux distro, btw). Outside work, I play guitar and drums, build unnecessarily elaborate home servers, and spend far too much time playing with cameras. You may already know Alex from LinuxServer.io or his YouTube channel, ktzsystems — he'll be leading the charge on product marketing and release content. Scott SchwartzHead of Operations and Automationaka @Scott S around here. Raconteur, neuroscience nerd, middling pickleballer, and Swiss Army knife, ready to solve problems and make some dad jokes along the way. I'm an operations leader who turns chaotic, manual workflows into documented, scalable processes, then builds the automation and tracking systems that keep them running. For more than 20 years, I've worked at the intersection of operations, engineering, and data, often serving as the strategic operator founders and executive teams rely on when growth begins to outpace process. I do my best work in early-stage and high-growth companies, where I can dig into a broken workflow, uncover what's slowing people down, and build a practical solution. At Unraid, I'm bringing that approach to our internal operations, helping create the systems, automation, and visibility we need to scale without losing what makes the company work. Please join us in giving Alex and Scott a warm Unraid welcome. We're excited to have them aboard for all of the exciting plans ahead!
  6. Unraid 7.4.0-beta.2 is out now and is the second beta build in the 7.4 series. This build adds Docker multi-network and memory controls, shared background task management, boot-device backup improvements, configurable power-button behavior, mover status tracking, and expanded hardware support, plus a kernel update to 6.18.47-Unraid and security updates across core packages. See the Unraid OS Prerelease (Bugs & Feedback) board for issues reported by other testers. Rolling Back No new release-specific rollback warnings are documented. For earlier rollback guidance, see the 7.3.2 release notes. Follow the normal prerelease rollback process before moving between builds. Upgrading For step-by-step instructions, see Updating Unraid. 9. Unraid OS 7.4.0-beta.1 is live for testing! Highlights:Shared task tray — background jobs from plugins, Docker, and VMs now queue into one tray with foreground recall from any browser tab, instead of the old bomb-icon workaround. Multiple custom networks for Docker containers — and additional network attachments now survive a container recreate/update instead of getting wiped. Memory limit field for Docker — exposed directly in Advanced View, no more passing it as an extra parameter. Live icon preview on the Docker Add/Edit forms. Configurable power-button behavior — Shut down, Reboot, or Do nothing, under Settings → Power Options. Good news for anyone who's had a case bump take their server down. Boot Device backups can now be downloaded directly or saved to the server, with progress tracking. A few fixes: Enter-to-start on encrypted array passphrase fields, File Manager no longer bounces exclusive shares out of /mnt/user/<share>, Plugins page no longer hangs on a slow/unreachable plugin's update check, and a VM startup PHP deprecation warning is gone. New hardware support: kernel modules/firmware for Realtek RTW88 8812A/8814A/8821A wireless adapters. Security: updates across bind, libXfont2, libarchive, libssh, openssh, p11-kit, php, samba, wpa_supplicant, and xorg-server — CVE details are in the full release notes. Notification integrations also now use certificate-verified requests for the public API. Under the hood: Linux kernel 6.18.44, Docker 29.7.1, 68 packages updated total. Standard beta caveats apply! Please do not run on production. Test on spare hardware or a VM, and back up your flash drive before updating.
