  1. Yup. Exactly what I had to do. Once I turned on advanced and changed the path for config from mnt/usr/appdata to mnt/cache/appdata it started working. I too had to rescan library. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  2. moved to our lsiocommunity repository. Hmm. I'll figure out how to do that and all will be well again. Thanks. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  3. Is this docker depreciated?? Upgrade to unRAID 6.2 final, run docker update and this is only container not available. Pulling image: lsiodev/serviio:latest TOTAL DATA PULLED: 0 B Error: Error: image lsiodev/serviio not found
  4. The movies. What about the movies? Oh wait... couldn't make them in this day and age ? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  5. Some Supermicro boards don't show the CPU temp through ipmi. They just use a oem reserved code of high, medium and low. However freeipmi doesn't always know the oem codes so it displays n/a. Got it. Thanks. Maybe someday... Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  6. Hmm, i had a quick look at the wiki, but i cant seem to find any actual instructions on fixing the file system. I came accross the "Fix Common Problems" plugin (http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=48972), installed it and scanned and it suggests the following: The button above brings me to the main page, which is not helpful. Obviously i need to run filesystem checks, but i dont know how to do this. =/ I think you are looking for this: from the main page, Click on the Device name "cache" to get to device settings and press the scrub button to check the file system. I believe you would want both drives attached before doing so. If you post the results, somebody knowing more than me would likely be able to recommend the next step.
  7. installed this plugin and On the dashboard it just shows temp as N/A On the settings page it shows - 71 CPU Temp N/A N/A N/A N/A OEM Reserved N/A N/A N/A not sure what it means, Any idea what I can do to see CPU temp? just in case it matters or not - dynamix system temp CPU temp displays ok supermicro board in sig
  8. ok. I take it nobody else using this has run into this situation?
  9. trying this out for last few days, and wonder may i have set up something incorrectly. config is set to /mnt/cache/appdata/Tonido/ and container volume is default /unRAID host path set to /mnt/user settings within tonido: indexing is off and Allow remote access to only specific folders unRAID/media/movies, unRAID/media/music, unRAID/media/tv shows, unRAID/media/pictures really the only changes made from default setup. been away for a week and was using android app on phone and personal laptop to access my "entertainment" on the road. Worked really well. quite simple really, right up my alley...upon returning home i noticed on my cache drive there was a folder with a .tonidodb file for every folder I accessed while away and the mover did not move them because permission is set as root. shouldn't it be nobody? Is this something i set up wrong in this docker or an underlying issue with my security settings in unraid itself?
  10. trying to update cache directories I get this: plugin: updating: dynamix.cache.dirs.plg cache_dirs not running! plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bergware/dynamix/master/archive/dynamix.cache.dirs.txz ... done plugin: bad file MD5: /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.cache.dirs/dynamix.cache.dirs.txz
  11. Any container I have that needs a /downloads I map to mnt/cache/downloads So my /mnt/cache/downloads has subfolders /app1 /app2 /app3 etc etc Make sure that /mnt/cache/downloads is set to cache drive only though..... Personally I can't see any reason to download directly to the array... Hope that helps, glad you're getting there. It does help. Nice clean organized approach. Thanks again[emoji3]
  12. I would take the approach of creating a share purely called downloads (mnt/cache/downloads) then mapping /downloads to mnt/cache/downloads in the docker config. Then in the deluge webui set it to downloads/torrents At the moment you've mapped /downloads (what deluge sees) to /mnt/cache/Torrent Downloads and then are telling Deluge to download to a folder called cache/Torrent Downloads (which as it isn't mapped, will be created in the container) That has done it. Still lots to learn. Thanks for the guidance CHBMB!!
  13. Testing out your docker, I set up a cache only user share 'Torrent Downloads'. Download docker and point /downloads on the template to /mnt/cache/Torrent Downloads. from web UI preferences I set download to /cache/Torrent Downloads. add a torrent file and it downloads, only its not in the download folder i thought i set. It appears it is downloading within my docker.img as i can see the file size and date change. help me learn something, what am i not doing correctly?
  14. I ask before trying so as not to assume anything and really mess something up. I want to clean up the directory structure of an existing share. Share is configured to use all disks. Share is Media/Movies/all/[various folders based on movie type]. My goal is to eliminate the /all folder. From a windows pc if I cut and paste everything from the /all folder to the /Movies folder does it just update the path structure or would it actually move data around?
  15. Did you delete the file parity-checks.log ? I did as described here - actually installed the 2015.12.04 patch - but even after 20 mins the log didn't recreate by itself. I decided to create manually but no history button is visible nor is the last parity sync duration time. Should I reboot the server? No need to reboot, you need to have notifications enabled though to make the background updating work. I don't know if it applies to your situation but I had a similar problem. After following the instructions and deleting the file it never re-created itself after waiting a good 10 minutes. I re-ran the installpkg cmd from a putty session and that did the trick. works now. I also do not have save to flash enabled, just notifications. hope it works for you.
  16. Used the plugin with the fast post-read and notifications enabled version from host site listed. Shows as ver. 1.115c, plugin worked great as has been the case, and pre clear of three new 4TB drives were successful also. 10 hours quicker for each drive than ones done in the past, however I never received any notifications. I had set for both the web GUI pop ups and email. i tried the 25%, end of each step, and end of cycle and never got anything. My notifications are working fine for unraid. Is something broke or did i not do something correctly in setting it up? According to your sig you are not running 6.1.x. This is likely the problem, and you should upgrade anyway. Nobody can support 6.0rc6 Sorry, hadn't changed that yet. Was on 6.1.4 while preclearing. Now updated to 6.1.6 I also realize now that updating which required a restart wiped any logs that may of been useful correct? It appears to be working for those that use it so it must be unique to my setup. I have a small drive to test with but can't get to it for a week or so. When I do I'll run a single pass with the fast option and the 25% setting and post back results then. The difference would be unraid version, and a single drive. I was preclearing all three of the new 4TB drives at the same time, if that makes a difference.

  18. There's a version hosted here: http://bit.ly/1G44UhZ . This version have fast post-read and notifications enabled. You can add this with this command: wget http://bit.ly/1G44UhZ -O /boot/config/plugins/preclear.disk/preclear_disk.sh readvz is already downloaded by the plugin. 19. worked well for me now for over a year. Time to get three more...
  20. I assume your using version 6 of unraid Try the preclear plugin. Works rather well and no need for screen.
  21. I used the web gui also so I can confirm working notification s, I can test parity on my system but not for a few days as I'm away for the holiday weekend
  22. Did this not get addressed before 6.1 went final? I ask because I upgraded yesterday and have Been receiving notifications as expected and on schedule. The parity check I cannot say as the first of the month is away off yet.
