Question: per the default install, is /usr/local/ on the USB drive?  Or is that on my Cache drive?  Thanks!

Knowing my luck this is probably a known issue.

I shutdown my server 2 nights ago as I didn't need it online, Turned it on this morning and everything was running fine except sickbeard. Sabnzbd doesn't seem to have any issues, which is good.

From what I can tell, Upon reinstalling the folder it creates is midgetspy-something-numbers instead of the "sickbeard" folder which stops it from loading. I simply moved everything from the midget spy folder to the original sickbeard folder and away she went. Not too sure why it didn't rename or move the files after it finished downloading, From what I can tell there's nothing in the log that would suggest anything off.

By moving Sickbeard's log to "/usr/local/sickbeard/logs" I was able to get my cache drive to spindown and the server to sleep properly! Yeah. This might be a worthy setting in the plugin's setup. Thank you again for these plugins! If someone makes a Air Video plugin, I think my server will be done!

Airvideo is available as an unraid plugin currently, though I'd like a 5.x plugin version as well =P

Where do you have CouchPotato's log? Did you just change the Data Directory?

I haven't setup CouchPotato yet. That is on my todo later today list. I'll post back once I have it working properly as well.

Great, thanks! Also, did you change the log for sabnzbd to the same location as sickbeard?

No. I let the SAB log stay in the cache drive where I have the data stored. SAB's logging doesn't keep the drive spun up.

That's what I thought. Thanks.

So, just some heads up. CP doesn't give any option to change just the log location, it's just the whole data directory (cache folder, config.ini, data.db, logs folder). I was planning on trying to set a link to the log folder but I haven't had a chance to try it out... I'm not sure what you're plan is but I would love to hear what you find.

Well, SB doesn't either. I edited the SB .ini file to tell it where to go. I was hoping I could do the same with CP.

SB does if you go to Config --> General --> Misc. --> Logging Directory (which is saved in the config.ini)

Ahh, Okay. I didn't look that hard ;)

Okay. I installed CouchPotato and configured it to my needs. CP only does a check every 24 hours. I didn't do any log location changes. Everything works just fine. The cache drive spins down and the server still sleeps.

I would :-)

Definitely interested, at the moment I exclusively use an XBMC-plugin for that purpose, but as I watch the majority of the movies with subtitles it would make my life a lot easier.

Send me a PM if you want to create a plugin for unRAID, I am willing to help.

Hello.

I have a problem with my Sabnzbd install on an "App-HDD". I installed these on Unraid 5.0b14 and do not have UnMenu installed.

Every Plugin is installed and has there data directory on this HDD.  ( /mnt/usenet/...)

Sab is on port 8082, sick on ..83 and couch on 5000

everything runs fine after a few hassels here and there, so far so good.

The Problem:

when Couch or Sick send an nzb to Sab it cant start downloading because there is no space available!!!

the HDD is an 120GB 2,5" ReiserFS formatted spare!

I tried to change Folders "Downloads/Complete/incomplete" to another place outside of /mnt/usenet. i tried /mnt/downloads and many more but when checkin through terminal, there is never ever an folder...

im i missing somthing?

PLZZZ HELP!

and sorry for my bad english...

How did you mount and share the 120gb drive?  You need to do this first.  Personally I mounted mine with snap and called the drive apps, then installed all my plugins to this drive.

You can then create folders in your 120gb drive and set up sabnzb to use them.  Snap mounts are mnt/disk/sharename/folder.  Just replace share name with the name you are sharing the disk with and folder with you completed folder.

Have you looked at the error log in sabnzb?  Also unmenu is very useful.  Install it!

First of all thank u Lacehim for this quick Answer!

I mounted the drive with the "mount- plugin"from the same author of this "sabplugin".

What I dindn't do was to actually share my drive. There is not an option in the GUI to do so.

I've read the thread further and it seems there "should" be an file called "share-extra.conf" inside but I can't find it.

I will try the snap method as you described, will update the post then.

Thank u again!

I recently upgraded from 4.7 to 5.0b14.

Right now I have SABNZB 0.6.7 installed through Packet Manager in Unmenu.

Will this have to be uninstalled before installing this plugin?

What SABNZB version is this plugin based on?

Nope... problem still persists...

The Snap mount is up and shared. then installed sabnzb plugin onto the new mounted disk.

but still. Sabnzb is showing that it has 0.00 GB of free space available.

Edit: I formated the drive again and tried same procedure same thing.

Edit:Edit: I this time formated inside the array with fdisk and mkfs commands, then had to config Sab from scratch with wizard and i thought its finally solved but... eeeeehht... nope

still no free space available..

whats the deal here?

anybody had this prob ever?

oh and silly desperate question ... is a shared drive (snap) visible in smb shares or through explorer? cause thats never happend over here...

Thank u again!

I don't think it would be a good idea to use the plugin while also using unMenu's install method. Personally, I removed the unMenu version and went for the more native plugin method.

I did the unMenu method, then found this plugin and decided to go this route. As such, I don't remember which version this installed, but I can tell you it is now running with version 0.6.14. I may have updated within the SAB GUI. I do know I updated SickBeard from within itself as well perfectly fine.

Thank you kricker, I currently have installed SAB to the cache drive. Can I keep it that way with this plugin? Can I also keep my current setup/configuration?

I installed mine to the cache drive at first, but then moved it to RAM, but left the data directory on the cache drive. Backup your SABnzbd folder before you swap out, but you should be able to keep all your settings just fine. I did.

I want SABNZB installed to the cache drive. I have categories defined so that specific files will be placed in the folders I want them in.

Files will be downloaded, verified, repaired and unpacked to the cache drive first and during the night moved from the cache drive to the final folders.

I don't see any advantage in installing SABNZB to RAM. I won't be installing SB or CP.

So, do I have control over where SABNZB will be installedwih this plugin?
