April 16Apr 16 Author Yeah I think they fixed the network part. There was a lot of people in different threads saying they had connectivity troubles even on Windows.
April 16Apr 16 So I just got it installed on my box, and following the instructions of letting it download, then shutting it down, editing settings, starting it up again, it's been working flawlessly. Had no issues at all. Didn't change the IP address either. It's in Host mode as the template defaulted to.
April 16Apr 16 Author Ah it's seems the update I did didn't go through to put it back to bridge. I'll check later, maybe I made a mistake
April 17Apr 17 @Nodiaque sorry if i have missed something.. but i cant find your docker to install windrose from the list..

April 17Apr 17 @Nodiaque it does not show up for me.. is there like a tab i gotta click for new/unstable stuff ?
April 17Apr 17 Author No it should update automatically. Let me check on my other unraid instance just in case it's my cache that's playing with me
April 17Apr 17 Author just checked on my other unraid instance and see it. Do you see the other windrose made by someone else?
April 17Apr 17 i found it.. i leave my servers open in tabs.. i forgot to click the apps tab to reload everything...im an idiot Edited April 17Apr 17 by Newtious ...
April 17Apr 17 Thank you so much for getting this running. Ive been using it and i have people connected fine but after a little while server crashes and reboots. Had it happen after about 5 hours of play and then it crashed about 2 hours later. So not consistent. which version of your docker do you recommend nodiaque/steamcmd:windrose or nodiaque/steamcmd:windrose-xvfb? it wouldn't mess with my save file if i change the repo would it?
April 17Apr 17 Author Hello, I think no one tried the xvfb yet since I just created it. I created it because there was issue with crashing (way faster then yours) and connection error on day one and looking at other docker, people used this. But since everything was fixed by the dev by the time I created it, I doubt it's the solution. There's no reason for it to mess with your savefile but I would do a backup of the folder in case. Better ready then sorry. In the end, the only difference is xvfb is a framebuffer system to emulate a display without actually displaying it. It's like a virtual display so the game think there's a display running. It's honestly the first time I used that.Do remember it's a early access game that is 2 days old. Lots of bug can happen. I don't think the version of the docker would change that but it doesn't hurt to try. I don't own the game so I can't say the difference myself.

I've got the same issue with docker, server appears and I can start the load in process. Others report I appear in server for a brief moment then leave. When this happens my entire client crashes to desktop. I can however run it on a win10 vm on the same server it works fine.Even tried with the other windrose docker to compare, same problem.
April 17Apr 17 Author did you try switching to host network?it's also the risk with any emulation. It's not a linux native server but a Windows (poor coded) one. So Wine emulation can be a miss Edited April 17Apr 17 by Nodiaque
April 17Apr 17 Running the Windrose docker, and its just refusing to pick up the recent update that was released. Anyway to force this to kick off? Edited April 17Apr 17 by Inch
April 17Apr 17 Author That'S the joy of Steam CMD. I saw that many time with other games. When that happen, I simply delete the folder (but keep savedata and config) so it force a redownload.
