November 30, 201411 yr Author Apcupsd has been updated for the new emhttp file structure of beta 12. Just update the plugin.
December 1, 201411 yr Is the powerdown plugin still needed/suggested with the new beta or can/should I remove it?
December 1, 201411 yr Author It's optional. Powerdown has some additional features like saving log history.
December 1, 201411 yr great, thanks for clarifying. I don't see any way to make any changes to powerdown, so I assume it's just done automatically. I've had it installed/running for a couple of weeks now, with no adverse affects that I've noticed, so I'll keep it installed, unless someone can give me a reason not to
December 1, 201411 yr Just installed on ver 6b12 via the http plugin interface. On the Apcupsd settings page (under the settings tab), I can not change the "Timeout:" variable from its default of 3000. I tried it both the service running and stopped. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
December 1, 201411 yr Author Select no for the enable daemon. Click apply. Then change the setting and click apply. Then re-enable the daemon by setting to yes and click apply.

December 3, 201411 yr I just installed and want to make sure I'm understanding the settings correctly, My Device field is empty, not sure what that is for, My battery level and minutes both show 10, I'm assuming that means that my server will run on battery power until it has 10 minutes of run time or 10% power left, is that correct? Timeout is showing 3000, what is that? Kill UPS is greyed out, again, what is that for?

December 3, 201411 yr Wow, thanks, I had no idea the help button was contextual! Thanks for this awesome plugin! Another quick question, I am unable to modify the settings besides enable apc, and show full status, I had the unmenu apc package installed previously, is that messing things up?
December 3, 201411 yr Disable the Daemon then you can make changes and re-enable Thanks, I wouldn't have tried that on my own!
December 5, 201411 yr Author The apcupsd plugin has been updated for compatibility with dynamix. I also made some minor cosmetic changes.
December 5, 201411 yr The apcupsd plugin has been updated for compatibility with dynamix. I also made some minor cosmetic changes. Looks good except the --- UPS Status --- section seems to be shifted left partly out of the browser. Tried Firefox and Chrome, cleared browser cache. See screenshot.
December 5, 201411 yr Author I'm re-arranging the apcupsd plugin to be tabbed to be compatible with dynamix. I'll take a look and see if I can reproduce the problem. I didn't see it here with Chrome.
December 5, 201411 yr I just wanted to say "thank you" for all you do to help make the unRAID experience better for all of us! It is very much appreciated.
December 5, 201411 yr Author You're welcome. I do what I can to help. I changed the apcupsd plugin to the dynamix tabbed menu system. Settings are on the first tab. The second tab shows the full status from the UPS. Let me know if there are any issues. I am trying to prepare the apcupsd plugin to be included into the unraid os. Let me know if the help is complete enough or if it needs additional information.

December 6, 201411 yr Author Does this support email notifications yet? Or is that a later enhancement Email notifications are built into the apcupsd daemon that is used to monitor the UPS and should work to notify you when the power has failed.
