RevelRob
Hi. Sorry for the noob question but if I wanted to switch to this container from the linuxserver one, how would I go about doing that? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

IF UniFi controller, I suppose you could go in your linuxserver one, then export your config, then install mine and point to the backup during the wizard, that should work. (Don't forget to STOP the LS one so they don't conflict each other). Quote Link to comment

Make sure you have a recent UniFi backup, remove the old docker install the new, during the wizard restore the backup. I did the same thing a few months back because of the betas Quote Link to comment

RevelRob
Wow, you guys are fast. It's for the controller. That's it huh? Just backup in "Auto Backup", remove linuxserver container, install yours, restore during wizard? Easy enough! Quote Link to comment
Pducharme
Yep I think it's in that spot. You backup manually (that will download a file), then Stop or Remove the LinuxServer Container, add my container, and restore the backup during the wizard. You can also try the latest Beta (I just update it), but not that sometime, you can't downgrade it later. Quote Link to comment
CiSCOTM
Yup. My old docker I had set to auto backup at 4 am. I just took that backup one morning and switched to pducharme docker. And restored the backup. Quote Link to comment
CiSCOTM
The latest beta 5.7.19 is close to being stable. They already have 5.8.3 testing out. I would install the beta but that’s my thought. Quote Link to comment
CiSCOTM
3.9.2 beta 1 unifi video just released too Quote Link to comment

RevelRob
Hi, so everything ended up working; however, there seemed to have been an update for the container recently. After i updated, opening the webui brings me to the setup wizard. Does every update do that? Quote Link to comment
sjones0812
How do I setup the auto backups to go somewhere that I can pull from when I do updates? Quote Link to comment
fryfrog
Anyone running unifi-video 3.9.2 docker? I'm having a bunch of problems w/ it and I haven't had much luck narrowing things down. My cameras get stuck on "managing", logs say the server is sending a re-manage command w/ both the docker ip (which won't work) and the right ip (which will). But they never come online. I even updated their firmware manually, hoping it'd help. That just made downgrading to 3.9.0 not work. And it *also* isn't showing up in the "cloud" at https://video.ubnt.com anymore. Will troubleshoot more tomorrow I think it must be related to whatever runs on port 7440, my 3.9.2 logs are full of errors related to that: https://ptpb.pw/PtPT Edit: Downgraded camera firmware and went back to 3.9.0 and it is working again. spencers
Any idea why the time is incorrect on my Unifi setup? I checked and unRAID is set to use 0.pool.ntp.org and shows the correct time. Within Unifi, the time zone is set to Central Time (UTC-6). Yet my graphs show that it's currently 8PM when it's actually 2PM. Makes me think the time zone setting is doing nothing at all! How do I fix this? Prob set to UTC time. Quote Link to comment
